Sensitive communication of Human Rights: case study of the European Foundation of Human Rights
The literature has conceptualized Public Relations as a paradigm that encompasses
organizational identity, communication, and management, with influence on an organization's
image. An essential attribute of this approach consists of a complex interactions system that is
established at the corporate level with multiple stakeholder groups. If we want to take seriously
the construction of a respect culture for diversity, Human Rights, and the construction of a
democratic society, it is primordial to discuss communication.
The interest in studying the Public Relations discipline extends to organization
communication, strategies and behavior change. Public Relations can be seen as a support function
that solves problems in organizations and societies, an impetus for the appeal of social awareness.
In our everyday life, there are many ways of communication. But in some cases we need to
communicate in a more caring way. As a means of organizational communication, sensitive
communication is used by people to deliver information in a way that tries to meet the needs and
wants of its target audience. The purpose of this paper is to examine the strategies and methods of
Public Relations towards sensitive communication using a case study during an international
internship.
The present work is about a Public Relations internship at the European Foundation for
Human Rights, a Lithuanian company specialized in protecting and promoting the rights and ethics
of minorities living in Lithuania. This investigation presents in detail the specific characteristics
that motivated, conditioned, and characterized the realization of this internship, as well as the
importance of Public Relations in an active role in society, so that it is possible to achieve a
sensitive communication for Human Rights.RESUMO:
Equity valuation of Ibersol SGPS, SA
The aim of the present project is to make a reliable valuation of a listed company with the
purpose of providing essential information for potential investors and achieving the target price
of the company’s shares as of 31st December of 2019. The company chosen was Ibersol SGPS,
S.A., that is a multi-brand group operating in the food service sector.
The spread of COVID-19, declared by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic
in 2020, deeply impacted the world economy and consumers’ habits. Therefore, the pandemic
effect is also considered in this project.
Between the models chosen to perform the valuation (DFC, Relative Valuation and EVA),
the most accurate one is DFC as all the forecasts were produced considering the pandemic
impact in the food service sector. At the end of the valuation, the result obtained was 5.80€,
which would suggest a sell recommendation as the market reference value at 31 of December
of 2019 was 8.00€. However, investors’ decision should also contemplate the speed of largescale vaccination and the good prospects of some sectors where Ibersol operates, such as
delivery, take-away and drive services. Moreover, at the date of the end of this project, the
company’ share price was around 5.76€, which suggests that the forecasts made in this project
are in line with the current situation of Ibersol. Thus, the final recommendation for investors
might change to from a Sell to a Hold.O objetivo principal do presente projeto é realizar uma avaliação fidedigna de uma empresa
A empresa
Assim, a recomendação

Educação Pré-Escolar e do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
underlying the Supervised Educational Practice developed in the context of Pre-School Education
and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education.
In these processes and under the aegis of the Methodology of Investigation-Action, all the
dynamics that underlie it were experienced. The pedagogical dynamics were assumed as cyclical
and inseparable from observation, planning, action, reflection and evaluation, enabled the
mobilization and acquisition of various knowledge, which contributed to the development of
contextualized educational practices with meaning for children and for future teachers.
The construction of our professional identity resulting from pedagogical dynamics,
observation and planning processes that preceded them, moments of reflection in action and
about action, as well as the contributions of others (educational actors and reference authors)
helped to build a double profile of teachers. It should also be reported that this first stage of the
construction of professional identity will add points with the teaching experience, with implication
in continuous training and with the pleasure of being a teacher and educator of childhood.
Thus, we tried to exalt the analysis, foundation and reflection of the pedagogical actions
developed in the two contexts experienced, considering the theoretical and basic frameworks for
the development of competencies of a teacher with a double profile
This internship report stresses the valorization of by-products generated by the olive and almond growers and concerns the development of monitoring indicators, to follow the activities of these areas under the umbrella of circular economy.
Over the past few years, we have witnessed an intensification of olive and almond pro-duction, which raises the problem of waste generation and accumulation. In this sense, envi-ronmental problems regarding the production of olive oil and almonds, were identified, namely, the generation of large amounts of toxic residues, in the case of olive oil and large amounts of residues with difficult decomposition in almonds.
In the scope of this internship report carried out at the Collaborative Laboratory Food4Sustainability, headquartered in Idanha-a-Nova, the by-products generated by these agro-industries and identified as well as, the best national and international practices for their valorization. This is crucial order to develop solutions towards waste valorization while gen-erating economic value and promoting the municipality's industries. Furthermore, a set of monitoring indicators is provided aiming to follow the adoption of sustainable practices ac-cording to the principles of the circular economy.
The main by-products of the olive oil industry are bagasse and the waste waters whereas are the green husk, the inner husk and the skin are reported from almonds. According to the literature, olive oil and almond valorization can be achieved through several methods: namely bio refinery, filtration, pyrolysis, anaerobic digestion, combustion, gasification and compost-ing. Surveys carried out next to olive and almond producers allow us to identify the com-posting method as the most commonly adopted, due to their lower implementation costs and simplicity.
Finally, the monitoring indicators proposed are intended to help olive oil and almond producers, as well as their respective public and approved associations and institutions, to improve their farms and industries, through the monitoring of various processes to promoting sustainability economic, social and environmental
A leitura transversal intra
This study aimed to explore and understand the evaluative perception of mothers
in a context of economic and social disadvantage and signaled by risky parenting on the
exercise of parenting and their children's behavior, as well as their parental satisfaction,
self-image, and reflective capacity. The study was conducted through semi-structured
interviews with 36 mothers who were users of the Family Intervention Unit of Santa Casa
da Misericórdia in Lisbon, with signs of risky parenting for (at least) one child up to 12
years of age, in a disadvantaged context economic and social. Based on a qualitative
methodology, a thematic analysis was carried out using the NVivo software. The intraand inter-category cross-sectional reading of the results revealed four emerging themes
that suggest guiding principles for the exercise of adequate parenting and one theme that
suggests a “good child” profile. This analysis also allowed us to understand the close
relationship between parental satisfaction, self-image, and reflexivity
In the last years, operational risk has become an increasingly relevant topic within banking institutions. Its inherence in this type of institutions and the increased impact generated by it, gains notoriety day after day, especially when this risk is the main reason for the closing of certain Banks, a phenomenon that has been verified. Losses from operational risk events can be catastrophic not only in monetary terms, but also in terms of the business or even the reputation. Following this angle, the present work aims to provide a more specific notion regarding the operational risk to raise awareness for the importance behind the development of a model for estimating losses within the scope of operational risk for a Bank. In addition to the transmission of this notion, throughout the work it is also possible to verify in what consists a model for estimating losses in this area, namely how this model was developed, the treatments carried out and the essential tools for its preparation. In order to make it possible to estimate losses by operational risk’s category and to incur the Monte Carlo simulations based on the available data it was necessary the modelling of these data, in order to adequate distributions, with the best possible method. This modelling dictated the course of the model, making the assessment of losses made within the scope of 4 units of measure, with 1 representing a group of 4 categories, while the remaining depict independent units of measure

Publisher Copyright: © 2023, The Author(s).Deep eutectic systems (DES) have shown increasing popularity in last decade; however, the number of studies on the potential toxicity towards living organisms remains scarce. These studies are of the utmost importance to infer on the claimed non-toxicity and biocompatibility of DES. Most articles published, at this moment, only evaluate the toxicity towards a cell model or in different strains of bacteria. For this purpose, in this work, the effect of two DES (betaine:sorbitol:water 1:1:3 and betaine:glycerol 1:2) and their individual components were evaluated at different concentrations after administered via intraperitoneal injection in zebrafish (Danio rerio). The total antioxidant capacity, lipoperoxidation, and the activity of various enzymes that work in different antioxidant pathways (superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, catalase, and glutathione S-transferase) were assessed. The results show no significant toxicity within the tested concentrations: up to 5000 µM and 3000 µM, for the assays using the system betaine:sorbitol:water 1:1:3 and for betaine:glycerol 1:2, respectively. The toxicity of individual components was studied up to 1000 µM. Based on the encouraging results that have been obtained, it is safe to conclude that these two deep eutectic systems can be used as the new class of environmentally friendly solvents.
