    PÀihdeperheiden avokuntoutuksen ja lastensuojelun perhetyön vÀlinen yhteistyö : Millaista yhteistyö on, toteutuuko lapsen nÀkökulma?

    OpinnĂ€ytetyöni kĂ€sittelee pĂ€ihdekuntoutusyksikön ja lastensuojelun perhetyön vĂ€listĂ€ yhteistyötĂ€ ja työnkuvia. Kummatkin ovat lastensuojelun avohuollon tukitoimia. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kartoittaa edellĂ€ mainittujen työmuotojen eroavaisuuksia ja mahdollisia samankaltaisuuksia sekĂ€ sitĂ€, hyötyvĂ€tkö perheet tahojen tarjoamasta samanaikaisesta tuesta. Selvitin myös lapsen nĂ€kyvĂ€ksi tekemistĂ€ työprosesseissa. OpinnĂ€ytetyöni on kvalitatiivinen eli laadullinen tutkimus, johon sisĂ€ltyy sekĂ€ työntekijöiden haastatteluja ettĂ€ teoriaa. TiedonhankintamenetelmĂ€nĂ€ olen kĂ€yttĂ€nyt puolistrukturoitua teemahaastattelua. Haastattelut toteutin ryhmĂ€haastatteluina. Aineisto on analysoitu kĂ€yttĂ€en teemoittelua. Tutkimuksesta saatujen tulosten mukaan kyseisten kahden toimijan yhteistyö perheiden asioissa on tarvittua. YhdessĂ€ ne muodostavat monille perheille tarpeellisen tuen. Yhteistyökumppanin tunteminen ja tiivis yhteydenpito yhteisten perheiden asioissa mahdollistaa informaation mutkattoman kulun. Se myös estÀÀ pÀÀllekkĂ€isyyksiĂ€ perheiden kanssa työskennellessĂ€. Tutkimus nosti esille hyvĂ€n yhteistyön lisĂ€ksi myös muutamia kehitettĂ€viĂ€ asioita. Ehdotuksia, joita yhteistyön kehittĂ€miseksi nousi esille, oli muun muassa perheiden mahdollisten lĂ€heisverkostojen suurempi hyödyntĂ€minen. Yhteiselle keskustelulle yhteisten asiakasperheiden tiimoilta olisi hyvĂ€ löytÀÀ lisÀÀ aikaa. MitĂ€ tulee työskentelyyn ja sen aloittamiseen, olisi perheille selkeĂ€mmin kerrottava työskentelyn tarkoituksesta ja sen tavoitteista, toisin sanoen odotuksien esiinnostaminen, puolin ja toisin, vaatisi enemmĂ€n huomiointia. Tuloksia voi hyödyntÀÀ pohdittaessa yhteistyön eri puolia ja suunniteltaessa yhteisen työskentelyn kehittĂ€mistĂ€.Collaboration between intoxicant rehabilitation of noninstitutional social care and family work of child welfare - what is the nature of such collaboration and how is child's point of view taken into consideration? The main purpose of this thesis was to examine collaboration and forms of work between intoxicant ‎rehabilitation of noninstitutional social care and family work of child welfare. The objective of this ‎research was to cover above-mentioned forms of work and to find out possible related similarities or differences and to see, whether client families benefit from simultaneous forms of support. In addition, child's visibility in such client process was analysed. This qualitative thesis included interviews and theory. As a method, half structured ‎theme interview was used. The employees were interviewed in two small groups, and the material of these interviews was ‎analyzed by using theme analysis. ‎ According to the results of the thesis, both forms of work support families and there is a special need for them ‎together. Together, they form an important support system for families. Information passes smoothly ‎when you first learn to know your co-operation partner. After that, it's more unlikely that the ‎family gets identical help from two places.‎ Also, based on the results, it can be said that there are still some minor matters that need to be developed. The people who are close and important in family's life should be more involved ‎when working with the family. The employees also felt that they should have more time to talk ‎together about their common clients. One important thing when starting the client process with ‎a family is to clarify the meaning and goals of co-operation, so both parties know exactly what is expected from them.‎ The results of this thesis can be used when discussing how to further promote this type of co-‎operation

    Prediction of Associations between microRNAs and Gene Expression in Glioma Biology

    Despite progress in the determination of miR interactions, their regulatory role in cancer is only beginning to be unraveled. Utilizing gene expression data from 27 glioblastoma samples we found that the mere knowledge of physical interactions between specific mRNAs and miRs can be used to determine associated regulatory interactions, allowing us to identify 626 associated interactions, involving 128 miRs that putatively modulate the expression of 246 mRNAs. Experimentally determining the expression of miRs, we found an over-representation of over(under)-expressed miRs with various predicted mRNA target sequences. Such significantly associated miRs that putatively bind over-expressed genes strongly tend to have binding sites nearby the 3â€ČUTR of the corresponding mRNAs, suggesting that the presence of the miRs near the translation stop site may be a factor in their regulatory ability. Our analysis predicted a significant association between miR-128 and the protein kinase WEE1, which we subsequently validated experimentally by showing that the over-expression of the naturally under-expressed miR-128 in glioma cells resulted in the inhibition of WEE1 in glioblastoma cells

    Os M. pretenderam traçar um quadro da HistĂłria da Alimentação, nĂŁo como um novo ramo epistemolĂłgico da disciplina, mas como um campo em desenvolvimento de prĂĄticas e atividades especializadas, incluindo pesquisa, formação, publicaçÔes, associaçÔes, encontros acadĂȘmicos, etc. Um breve relato das condiçÔes em que tal campo se assentou faz-se preceder de um panorama dos estudos de alimentação e temas correia tos, em geral, segundo cinco abardagens Ia biolĂłgica, a econĂŽmica, a social, a cultural e a filosĂłfica!, assim como da identificação das contribuiçÔes mais relevantes da Antropologia, Arqueologia, Sociologia e Geografia. A fim de comentar a multiforme e volumosa bibliografia histĂłrica, foi ela organizada segundo critĂ©rios morfolĂłgicos. A seguir, alguns tĂłpicos importantes mereceram tratamento Ă  parte: a fome, o alimento e o domĂ­nio religioso, as descobertas europĂ©ias e a difusĂŁo mundial de alimentos, gosto e gastronomia.     Ideas and Institutional Change in Social Security: Conversion, Layering, and Policy Drift

    In recent years, social scientists such as Kathleen Thelen and Jacob Hacker have introduced new concepts to assist in the understanding of institutional change. Fostering some of these concepts, this article proceeds to augment the theoretical debate on institutional change in social science and policy research. A discussion of Social Security development in the United States advances the article's main objective: to uncover the relationship between ideational processes and policy development.
