¿Determinismo y Causalidad? Sobre la inexistencia del Libre Arbitrio
El Presente Artículo, Centrándose En El Reciente Libro Del Profesor Juan Aranalos Filósofos Y La Libertad, Critica, Desde El Materialismo Filosófico, La Ideade Libre Arbitrio. Para Ello Se Fundamenta Apagógicamente La Verdad Deldeterminismo Ontológico A Través De La Constatación De Las Contradicciones Enque Descansan Las Vías Indeterministas , A Saber: La Causa Sui Y La Emergenciametafísica. También Se Patentiza Que Es, Paradójicamente, La Metafísica De Cuñoteísta La Que, De Manera Más Ardiente, Resulta Incompatible Con La Libertad Dela Voluntad, En Tanto La Perspectiva De Un Dios Omnipotente Y Omnisciente Escontradictoria Con Un Indeterminismo De Cualquier Clase, Y Por Tanto Con Ellibre Arbitrio. Libertad, Dios y Metafísica
En este artículo se argumenta sobre la inconsistencia de la Idea de Libertad defendida por Juan Arana, dadas sus premisas sustancialistas y contradictorias; así como también se argumenta, ad hominem, sobre cómo la Idea tradicional de Dios, contemplada desde los atributos de Omnipotencia y Omnisciencia, es contradictoria categóricamente con cualquier forma de libertad. Por último, se ofrecen algunas argumentaciones materialistas contra el espiritualismo ontológico en general, y contra el de la Ontoteología católica en especial.This paper focuses on the main weaknesses in Juan Arana's Idea of Freedom, which result from the substancialist and contradictory premises he uses. Ad hominem arguments are also given on how the traditional Idea of God, as expressed in its attributes of Omnipotence and Omniscience, is categorically contradictory with any form of freedom. Lastly, several arguments are offered against ontological spiritualism in general, and against the particular spiritualism of catholic Ontotheology
La importancia del cuerpo como constitutivo formal de todo viviente en la filosofía de Schopenhauer
En el presente artículo se analiza la importancia esencial del cuerpo como
constitutivo formal de todo viviente en la filosofía de Schopenhauer. Desde estas
premisas, se presentará esta filosofía como incompatible con cualquier forma de
dualismo espiritualista, sin tener por ello que profesar una ontología corporeísta o
fisicalista. En la ontología schopenhaueriana, una vez establecida la tesis de la
idealidad de la materia física siguiendo la Estética Trascendental kantiana, se
sostendrá que la toma de conciencia de la identidad entre nuestros actos de voluntad y
nuestros movimientos corporales será la clave para identificar la cosa en sí kantiana
con la Voluntad, que trasciende el propio espacio, tiempo y causalidad, marcos
trascendentales de toda forma de vida.This paper explores the key role of the body as a formal constituent of all
living beings in Schopenhauer’s philosophy. From this perspective, his philosophy
emerges as clearly incompatible with any form of spiritual dualism. This, however, does
not lead to a reduction of all reality to bodies. Chez Schopenhauer, and following Kant’s
Transcendental Aesthetics and its thesis on the ideal nature of physical matter, the
identification between our body movements and our acts of will opens the way to the
identification between the Kantian thing-in-itself and the world as Will. This, in its
turn, tantamounts to saying that Schopenhauer’s emphasis on bodies leaves room for
transcending the features common to all forms of life: space, time and causality

It will argue that the social success and survival of a human rights organisation on a global scale such as the Russell Tribunal mainly depend on a range of rhetorical and dramaturgical devices
through which their creators position themselves and their institution, along with their adversaries, within specific social, political and intellectual contexts. The performative dimension of power clarifies how wars are fought and won not only on the battlefield, but also in the hearts and minds of citizens on both the home front and the enemy side. Potential of a sunflower seed by-product as animal fat replacer in healthier Frankfurters
Upcycled defatted sunflower seed flour (SUN), a by-product obtained from sunflower oil extraction, was used as an animal fat replacer to develop healthier frankfurters. For that end, animal fat was replaced (~50%) with water and 2% or 4% of SUN. Nutritional composition, technological, structural and sensorial properties were evaluated. SUN incorporation led to a significant increase in protein, minerals (magnesium, potassium, copper and manganese) and a decrease in fat content (~37% less than control with all animal fat). The incorporation of SUN in frankfurters promoted the presence of phenolic compounds. Increasing SUN addition lead to an increasingly (p < 0.05) darker frankfurter colour. Samples with SUN at 4% were firmer than the control according to TPA and sensory analysis results and showed the highest lipid disorder attributed to more lipid interactions in the meat matrix. SUN addition as an animal fat replacer in frankfurters is a feasible strategy to valorise sunflower oil by-products and obtain healthier frankfurters
Development of organic fertilizers from food market waste and urban gardening by composting in Ecuador
Currently, the management of urban waste streams in developing countries is not optimized yet, and in many cases these wastes are disposed untreated in open dumps. This fact causes serious environmental and health problems due to the presence of contaminants and pathogens. Frequently, the use of specific low-cost strategies reduces the total amount of wastes. These strategies are mainly associated to the identification, separate collection and composting of specific organic waste streams, such as vegetable and fruit refuses from food markets and urban gardening activities. Concretely, in the Chimborazo Region (Ecuador), more than 80% of municipal solid waste is dumped into environment due to the lack of an efficient waste management strategy. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a demonstration project at field scale in this region to evaluate the feasibility of implanting the composting technology not only for the management of the organic waste fluxes from food market and gardening activities to be scaled-up in other developing regions, but also to obtain an end-product with a commercial value as organic fertilizer. Three co-composting mixtures were prepared using market wastes mixed with pruning of trees and ornamental palms as bulking agents. Two piles were created using different proportions of market waste and prunings of trees and ornamental palms: pile 1 (50:33:17) with a C/N ratio 25; pile 2: (60:30:10) with C/N ratio 24 and pile 3 (75:0:25) with C/N ratio 33), prepared with market waste and prunings of ornamental palm. Throughout the process, the temperature of the mixtures was monitored and organic matter evolution was determined using thermogravimetric and chemical techniques. Additionally, physico-chemical, chemical and agronomic parameters were determined to evaluate compost quality. The results obtained indicated that all the piles showed a suitable development of the composting process, with a significant organic matter decomposition, reached in a shorter period of time in pile 3. At the end of the process, all the composts showed absence of phytotoxicity and suitable agronomic properties for their use as organic fertilizers. This reflects the viability of the proposed alternative to be scaled-up in developing areas, not only to manage and recycle urban waste fluxes, but also to obtain organic fertilizers, including added value in economic terms related to nutrient contents.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
Portable low profile antenna at X-band
An antenna which has been conceived as a portable system for satellite communications based on the recommendations ITU-R S.580-6 and ITU-R S.465-5 for small antennas, i.e., with a diameter lower than 50 wavelengths, is introduced. It is a planar and a compact structure with a size of 40×40×2 cm. The antenna is formed by an array of 256 printed elements covering a large bandwidth (14.7%) at X-Band with a VSWR of 1.4:1. The specification includes transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) bands simultaneously. The printed antenna has a radiation pattern with a 3dB beamwidth of 5°, over a 31dBi gain, and a dual and an interchangeable circular polarization
Sistema de notificación push para instrumentos de diagnóstico
Este proyecto ha sido propuesto por Werfen Systelab, una empresa internacional relacionada con los instrumentos de diagnóstico médico. Werfen Systelab dispone de distintos instrumentos de laboratorio. Este trabajo de final de grado quiere integrarse con el instrumento de diagnóstico que lleva por nombre ACLTop, un instrumento de hemostasia. El objetivo principal de este proyecto consiste en comunicar el instrumento ACLTop con otro proyecto de Werfen llamado HemoHub. Esta comunicación es requerida para poder mostrar la información de la que ACLTop dispone en HemoHub de manera centralizada. Gracias a este proyecto, un técnico de laboratorio podría comprobar el correcto funcionamiento de los instrumentos y los resultados que estos ofrecen desde HemoHub sin la necesidad de ir instrumento a instrumento para este cometido. En este proyecto se ha diseñado y desarrollado un gestor de servidores HTTP en los que se puede registrar distintos mensajes. La implementación de este proyecto da soporte al servidor que se encarga de implementar los mensajes para comunicarse con HemoHub, pero también se han desarrollado herramientas que servirán a Werfen Systelab en futuros proyectos.This project has been proposed by Werfen Systelab, an international Company related to medical diagnostics instruments. Werfen Systelab has some different laboratory instruments. This Project aims to integrate with one diagnostic instrument, which is called ACLTop, an hemostasia instrument. The main objective of this project is to communicate ACLTop with another Werfen project called HemoHub. This communication is required to display the ACLTop information on HemoHub. Thanks to this Project, a laboratory technician could check the status of the instruments and the results it offers without the need to go instrument to instrument for this purpose. On this project it has been designed and developed a HTTP server manager that can register different messages. The implementation of this project, supports the server that is responsable for implementing the messages to communicate ACLTop with HemoHub, but also it have been developed tools that will help Werfen Systelab in future projects.Aquest projecte ha sigut proposat per Werfen Systelab, una empresa internacional relacionada amb els instruments de diagnosi mèdic. La Ciencia en Educación Infantil a través de los rincones de aprendizaje
El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado estudia la importancia de las ciencias en
Educación Infantil, además de la posibilidad de llevar a cabo una enseñanza en el aula a
partir de la metodología por rincones. Dicho estudio se realizó mediante la revisión
bibliográfica del tema elegido, poniendo en evidencia que es posible trabajar el área de
ciencias desde las primeras edades. Por lo tanto, se llevó a cabo una secuencia didáctica en
la que se organizaron cinco rincones que trabajaban los cinco sentidos del ser humano y,
por ende, diferentes aspectos científicos. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que trabajar
las ciencias a través de los rincones de aprendizaje dan pie a desarrollo de habilidades como
la autonomía, el pensamiento abstracto, la cooperación con sus iguales, etc. En conclusión,
trabajar las ciencias a partir de la metodología por rincones es una forma diferente y
dinámica de adentrar a los discentes en esta área y que comiencen a familiarizarse con ella.Grado en Educación Infanti
