Curs acadèmic: 2018/2019En el siguiente trabajo se expone una explicación teórica sobre las Unidades Pedagógicas Hos-pitalarias. Después se centra en describir la Unidad Pedagógica Hospitalaria de la Fe, a partir de una entrevista con la coordinadora y unas encuestas de satisfacción sobre este servicio a los docentes, familias y niños. Las Unidades Pedagógicas son una gran oportunidad para hablar de educación inclusiva, ya que en ellas se favorece esta educación debido a las características que estas atienden. Durante este trabajo se da importancia a este tipo de servicio y a su concepto debido a la gran confusión que genera en la sociedad, ya que se piensa que los niños y niñas que acuden a las Unidades Pedagógicas Hospitalarias sólo realizan actividades lúdicas y no se trabajan contenidos curricu-lares. En realidad, este servicio, que se presta en las dependencias de los hospitales, es com-plementario a los centros escolares. En él se tienen una coordinación con los centros de referen-cia de los niños y niñas hospitalizados para llevar a cabo su seguimiento y formación curricular y no perder la escolaridad. Como marca en la Declaración de los Derechos Humanos de 1948 todo niño o niña tiene derecho a una educación independientemente de la situación en la que se encuentre.The following work presents a theoretical explanation of the hospital pedagogical units. Then it focuses on describing the hospital pedagogical unity of Fe, from an interview with the coordinator and a satisfaction surveys about this service to teachers, families and children. The Pedagogical Units Hospital are a great opportunity to talk about inclusive education, because it supports this kind of education due to the characteristics that they attend. During this work, importance is given to this type of service and its concept due to the great confusion it generates in society, as it is thought that children go to pedagogical units hospital only to play activities and not to do word on curricular contents. This service is provided in hospitals it is complementary to the schools. There is a coordination with the children reference centers to carry out their curricular training, trying not to lose schooling. Since 1948, thanks to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, every child has the right to an education regardless of what condition they are in

    Radiative bb-baryon decays to measure the photon and bb-baryon polarization

    The radiative decays of bb-baryons facilitate the direct measurement of photon helicity in bsγb\to s\gamma transitions thus serving as an important test of physics beyond the Standard Model. In this paper we analyze the complete angular distribution of ground state bb-baryon (Λb0\Lambda_{b}^{0} and Ξb\Xi_{b}^{-}) radiative decays to multibody final states assuming an initially polarized bb-baryon sample. Our sensitivity study suggests that the photon polarization asymmetry can be extracted to a good accuracy along with a simultaneous measurement of the initial bb-baryon polarization. With higher yields of bb-baryons, achievable in subsequent runs of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we find that the photon polarization measurement can play a pivotal role in constraining different new physics scenarios.Comment: Typos corrected, reference adde

    Heavy Quark Parameters and Vcb from Spectral Moments in Semileptonic B Decays

    We extract the heavy quark masses and non-perturbative parameters from the Delphi preliminary measurements of the first three moments of the charged lepton energy and hadronic mass distributions in semileptonic B decays, using a multi-parameter fit. We adopt two formalisms, one of which does not rely on a 1/mc expansion and makes use of running quark masses. The data are consistent and the level of accuracy of the experimental inputs largely determines the present sensitivity. The results allow to improve on the uncertainty in the extraction of Vcb.Comment: 13 pages, 2 figure

    Differential branching fraction and angular analysis of the decay B-0 -> K*(0)mu(+)mu(-)

    The angular distribution and differential branching fraction of the decay B-0 -> K*(0)mu(+)mu(-) are studied using a data sample, collected by the LHCb experiment in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1). Several angular observables are measured in bins of the dimuon invariant mass squared, q(2). A first measurement of the zero-crossing point of the forward-backward asymmetry of the dimuon system is also presented. The zero-crossing point is measured to be q(0)(2) = 4.9 +/- 0.9 GeV2/c(4), where the uncertainty is the sum of statistical and systematic uncertainties. The results are consistent with the Standard Model predictions

    Study of the reaction e(+)e(-) -> psi(2S)pi(+)pi(-) via initial-state radiation at BABAR

    We study the process e(+)e(-) -> psi(2S)pi(+)pi(-) with initial-state-radiation events produced at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider. The data were recorded with the BABAR detector at center-of-mass energies at and near the (nS) (n = 2, 3, 4) resonances and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 520 fb(-1). We investigate the psi(2S)pi(+)pi(-) mass distribution from 3.95 to 5.95 GeV/c(2), and measure the center-of-mass energy dependence of the associated e(+)e(-) -> psi(2S)pi(+)pi(-) cross section. The mass distribution exhibits evidence of two resonant structures. A fit to the psi(2S)pi(+)pi(-) mass distribution corresponding to the decay mode psi(2S) -> J/psi pi(+)pi(-) yields a mass value of 4340 +/- 16 (stat) +/- 9 (syst) MeV/c(2) and a width of 94 +/- 32 (stat) +/- 13 (syst) MeV for the first resonance, and for the second a mass value of 4669 +/- 21 (stat) +/- 3 (syst) MeV/c(2) and a width of 104 +/- 48 (stat) +/- 10 (syst) MeV. In addition, we show the pi(+)pi(-) mass distributions for these resonant regions
