Design and validation of a teaching module to overcome critical spots of the thematic unit Soil in teaching secondary geography

Diplomová práce se zabývá navržením výukového modulu na překonání kritických míst tematického celku Půda ve výuce zeměpisu na 2. stupni ZŠ. Jako metoda získávání dat v předvýzkumu bylo použito studium literatury. Dále byl použit polostrukturovaný rozhovor s vyučujícím zeměpisu v 6. ročníku. Na základě těchto dat byl navržen výukový modul, který byl otestován v praxi ve vybraném 6. ročníku. Jako hlavní výzkumná metoda byl zvolen experiment jedné skupiny před-po. Vývoj znalostí žáků byl testován pomocí pretestu a posttestu. Jejich výsledky byly zpracovány staticky a graficky znázorněny.ObhájenoThe diploma thesis deals with designed a teaching module to overcome critical spots of the thematic unit Soil in teaching secondary geography. In the pre-research, the study of literature was used as method for data collection. Furthermore, a semi-structured interview with a geography teacher in the 6th grade was used. Based on these data, a teaching module was dedsigned, which was tested in practice on selected 6th grade. A experiment of one group before-after was chosen as the main research method. The development of students' knowledge was tested using pretest and posttest. The results were processed by statistic and graph

Práce se zabývá otázkami uplatnění absolventů sociální antropologie na trhu práce, v jaké profesní oblasti se tito absolventi pohybují a jak se ke své profesi dostali. Předmětem výzkumu jsou absolventi bakalářského či magisterského studia Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Pardubice, kteří mají již dostudováno a mohou tak poodkrýt odpovědi na otázky stále studujícím, týkající se jejich budoucí kariéry, jež jsou pro ně doposud tajemstvím. Výsledky výzkumu jsou pro přehlednost zpracovány do grafů a tabulek. Práce poukazuje na to, jak široké je uplatnění absolventa antropologie a jaké jsou jeho přednosti.The work deals with questions about employment of social anthropology graduates in the labour market: in which professional field these graduates move and how they get to their profession. The research sample are graduates of bachelor or master degree at Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Pardubice, who are already graduated and can answer questions to still studying students about their career future, which is still secret for them. The results are processed into graphs and tables for their clarity. The work points out how wide is employment of anthropology graduates and what are their advantages.Katedra sociálních vě

Design and implementation of an application to support tabletop role-playing game players

Práce se zabývá tvorbou návrhu a implementace aplikace na podporu hraní her na hrdiny, specificky se zaměřuje na hru Flabbergasted!, tvorbu postav a klubů pro tuto hru, a tvorbu poznámek. Hlavním cílem je vytvořit funkční aplikaci, která může být použita kýmkoliv, kdo by si chtěl Flabbergasted! zahrát. V první části je představena problematika her na hrdiny, dominance hry Dungeons and Dragons, a problematika vedení poznámek při hraní delších kampaní. V druhé části je vytvořen návrh aplikace na základě analýzy hry a potřeb hráčů a dále je zdokumentována jeho tvorba a testování. Výsledkem práce je funkční aplikace, kterou mohou lidé použít pro hraní.The thesis deals with the design and implementation of an application for the support of playing tabletop role-playing game, specifically focusing on the game Flabbergasted!, the creation of characters and clubs for this game, and the creation of notes. The main goal is to create a functional application that can be used by anyone who would like to play Flabbergasted!. The first part introduces the issues of role-playing games, the dominance of Dungeons and Dragons, and the issues of note-taking while playing longer campaigns. In the second part, the design for the app is created based on an analysis of the game and player needs, and then the creation and testing of said app is documented. The result of the work is a functional application, that people can use for playing
