    Hi ha molts compradors diferents però tots amb el mateix pensament, volen comprar bo i varat, i lamentablement no sempre és així. Quan una persona vol comprar una embarcació, ha de saber el que compra i l'estat en què ho compra. Una persona que no té coneixements nàutics ni sap considerar l'estat d'embarcacions, és molt recomanable anar acompanyat d\'un professional que l'assessori en tot moment. Per poder determinar l'estat d'una embarcació es valoren tres aspectes diferents: Motors, Estructura i Serveis. Depenent de com es valori l'estat de l'embarcació es pactaran les condicions i el preu final. En aquest cas real, una persona, contracte el servei d'un professional del sector per la intenció d'adquirir una embarcació amb unes certes prestacions. El client descriu com ha de ser l'embarcació, i el pressupost de compra. El servei que ofereix el professional inclou: investigar envers les diferents opcions que hi ha en el mercat i mostrar-les al client. Un cop presentades les diferents possibilitats, acompanya a veure i valora les diferents opcions fins a trobar l'adequada. A partir de la valoració de l'embarcació feta pel professional, el comprador i venedor parlen les condicions de la transacció fins a arribar al pacte en el preu de compra. Un cop feta la transacció de la compra amb el canvi de nom pertinent i tots els tràmits enllestits, traslladen l'embarcació al Port del Masnou. El nou propietari de l'embarcació desitja modernitzar-la, i és el mateix professional que s'encarrega de dur a terme aquest servei. En el TFG es plasma tot el procés que comporta la modernització, les reparacions o millores i la instal·lació de nous sistemes. Es fa constar la metodologia de com es coordina i organitza les diferents tasques a desenvolupar, tot el seguiment del procés fins a l'entrega de l'embarcació en les condicions pactades i data senyalada. En finalitzar el servei de modernització s'extreuen dues conclusions clares. Una d'elles és saber dir que no a la realització d'un encàrrec sinó es pot dur a terme adequadament i amb fiabilitat. Una segona conclusió, si l'encàrrec implica comprar material o liquidar els serveis rebuts per empreses subcontractes, és important pactar amb el client una reserva econòmica per anar poder avançant en el projecte.     Un Modelo de medida de la Inteligencia Emocional percibida en contextos deportivo/competitivos

    El objetivo del presente trabajo ha consistido en obtener evidencias de validez de constructo y fiabilidad de un cuestionario de Inteligencia Emocional en el Deporte en una muestra de 656 deportistas nacionales (360 hombres y 296 mujeres). Se dividió la muestra en dos partes y se llevó a cabo un Análisis Factorial Exploratorio para construir un modelo teórico inicial y posteriormente se llevó a cabo un Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio. Se llegó a un modelo de 31 ítems y 5 factores de primer orden. Los resultados para los indicadores más habituales de ajuste global fueron: RMSR =.08, GFI = .93; AGFI = .92 y PNFI = .81. Mientras que los valores de consistencia interna alfa de Cronbach oscilaron desde .86 hasta .64.The aim of this study was to obtain evidence of the construct validity and reliability of an 'Emotional Intelligence in Sports' questionnaire, using a sample of 656 national athletes (360 male and 296 female). The sample was divided into two parts and an exploratory factor analysis was conducted to construct an initial theoretical model. This was followed by a confirmatory factor analysis. A model with 31 items and 5 first-order factors was obtained. The values that were obtained for the most common global goodness-of-fit indices were as follows: RMSR = .08, GFI = .93; AGFI = .92 and PNFI = .81, while the internal consistency values of Cronbach's alpha ranged from .86 to .64

La construcción se ha realizado además bajo criterios de bioclimatismo. Debido a la gran potencia eléctrica instalada (84000Wp) y a la aplicación de estos sistemas de ahorro y producción de energía combinados en un edificio de gran envergadura, se ha convertido en el mayor edificio en España realizado hasta la fecha bajo estas premisas. Teniendo en cuenta que el proyecto se realiza para una empresa dedicada exclusivamente a la energía solar, este hecho cobra especial significado.The new building for the administrative offices and technical department of the Isofotón factory in Spain, completed in mid 2005, incorporates various photovoltaic and thermal solar instalations, using 5 different forms of architectural integration using the latest technology developed by the company. Due to the high installed energy potencial (84000Wp) this building is at present the largest PV installation integrated in building in Spain. The construction also responds to bioclimatic design principles and incorporates strategies for reduction of the energy demand.     Neuropathic post-COVID pain symptomatology is not associated with serological biomarkers at hospital admission and hospitalization treatment in COVID-19 survivors

    OBJECTIVE: Evidence suggests that individuals who had survived to coronavirus disease, 2019 (COVID-19) could develop neuropathic post-COVID pain. This study investigated the association of serological biomarkers and treatments received during hospitalization with development of neuropathic-associated symptoms.METHODS: One hundred and eighty-three (n = 183) previously hospitalized COVID-19 survivors during the first wave of the pandemic were assessed in a face-to-face interview 9.4 months after hospitalization. Nineteen serological biomarkers, hospitalization data, and treatment during hospitalization were obtained from medical records. Neuropathic pain symptoms (Self-Report Leeds Assessment of Neuropathic Scale), sleep quality (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), pain catastrophizing (Pain Catastrophizing Scale) and anxiety/depressive levels (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale) were assessed.RESULTS: The prevalence of post-COVID pain was 40.9% (n = 75). Fifteen (20%) patients reported neuropathic symptoms. Overall, no differences in hospitalization data and serological biomarkers were identified according to the presence or not of neuropathic-associated symptoms. Patients with post-COVID pain had the highest neutrophil count, and post hoc analysis revealed that patients with neuropathic post-COVID associated symptoms had lower neutrophil count (p = 0.04) compared with those without neuropathic pain, but differences were small and possible not clinically relevant. No differences in fatigue, dyspnea, brain fog, anxiety or depressive levels, poor sleep, or pain catastrophism between patients with and without neuropathic symptoms were found.CONCLUSION: It seems that neuropathic-like post-COVID pain symptoms are not associated with neither of assessed serological biomarkers at hospital admission nor hospitalization treatments received in this cohort of hospitalized COVID-19 survivors.</p

    Structural basis for the inactivation of cytosolic DNA sensing by the vaccinia virus

    Detection of cytosolic DNA is a central element of the innate immunity system against viral infection. The Ku heterodimer, a component of the NHEJ pathway of DNA repair in the nucleus, functions as DNA sensor that detects dsDNA of viruses that replicate in the cytoplasm. Vaccinia virus expresses two proteins, C4 and C16, that inactivate DNA sensing and enhance virulence. The structural basis for this is unknown. Here we determine the structure of the C16 – Ku complex using cryoEM. Ku binds dsDNA by a preformed ring but C16 sterically blocks this access route, abrogating binding to a dsDNA end and its insertion into DNA-PK, thereby averting signalling into the downstream innate immunity system. C4 replicates these activities using a domain with 54% identity to C16. Our results reveal how vaccinia virus subverts the capacity of Ku to recognize viral DNA

    Pontocerebellar hypoplasia secondary to CASK gene deletion: Case report

    Pontocerebellar hypoplasia (PCH) is a reduction of the size of the cerebellum and pons secondary to an alteration in its development, and can be caused by neurodegenerative diseases of genetic origin, of which there are known 10 subtypes (PCH 1-10), cortical malformations, metabolic and genetic diseases. To present the case of a child with microcephaly, PCH and West syndrome, in which the genetic study allowed to make the diagnosis of a deletion on chromosome X. This is a female infant of 7-month at diagnosis, without family or obstetric history of interest, head circumference at birth -1.5 standard deviations (SD). She had little weight and growth in head circumference progression. In addition, physical examination revealed no fixating gaze, hypotonia with preserved deep tendon reflexes. Progressively developed refractary seizures. Brainsteam Auditory Evoked Potential demonstrated involvement of pontomesencefphalic ways and neuroimaging Pontocerebellar hypoplasia. The genetic study (aCGH) showed heterozygous deletion on the X chromosome, affecting the CASK gene. Given the wide differential diagnosis proposed at the PCH, new cytogenetic techniques have improved the classification of HPC and in some cases establish their etiology, so in these cases can provide appropriate genetic counseling to families

    Newborns of Mothers with Venous Disease during Pregnancy Show Increased Levels of Lipid Peroxidation and Markers of Oxidative Stress and Hypoxia in the Umbilical Cord

Estatal de I + D + I 2013–2016) and co-financed by the European Development Regional Fund “A way to achieve Europe” and B2017/BMD-3804 MITIC-CM (Comunidad de Madrid), and Halekulani S.L.Chronic venous disease (CVD) encompasses a set of disorders of the venous system that have a high prevalence in Western societies and are associated with significant sociohealth costs. Pregnancy is a period in which different hormonal and haemodynamic changes occur that lead to significant changes in the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of developing venous problems, especially during the third trimester of gestation. In turn, CVD involves a series of local and systemic alterations that can have negative repercussions in pregnancy. In this context, the role of oxidative stress in the pathophysiology of this condition has been shown to significantly affect other vascular structures during pregnancy, such as the placenta. However, the effects of oxidative stress on the umbilical cord in women with CVD have not yet been fully elucidated. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyse the gene and protein expression of the enzymes NOX-1, NOX-2 and iNOS, which are involved in the production of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species, respectively. Similarly, the presence of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) in the umbilical cord in women with CVD was compared to that of pregnant control women, and the levels of the lipid peroxidation marker malonyldialdehyde (MDA) in cord tissue and blood was also analysed. Our results support a significant increase in the enzymes NOX-1, NOX-2 and iNOS and HIF-1α and MDA in the umbilical cord tissue and blood of women with CVD.
