The changed educational paradigm has identified new educational goals expressed in the form of competencies of students, which they must master to carry out future professional activities at a high level and ensure their competitiveness in the labor market. Within the framework of the competence approach, practice-oriented education is developing, so higher education institutions seek to implement technologies that actively support this direction. The purpose of the article is to analyze the experience of implementing heuristic technologies as one of the most effective in the preparation of a teacher of vocational training. Features and essence of heuristic technologies, their value in modern preparation of students are revealed. The article presents a study that reflects the use of heuristic methods to improve the preparedness of students to perform their professional activities. In the formation of the ability to analyze professional and pedagogical situations-one of the most important professional competencies of future teachers of vocational training, the method of organized strategies (the method of strategies for working with information) was applied. Heuristic teaching methods bring positive results in the formation of the ability to analyze professional and pedagogical situations. The ability to work with information is an important part of the formation of this competence. We performed an analysis of the experience in implementing heuristic technologies, as one of the most effective in training a teacher of vocational training, revealed the features and essence of heuristic technologies, their significance in modern student training. Heuristic teaching methods bring positive results in the formation of the ability to analyze professional and pedagogical situations. Our methods of working with information contribute to more rapid training of teachers of vocational training. The results of testing students ' skills to work with information showed that after the introduction of heuristic methods, the results became much better, which contributes to the formation of this competence. The obtained data can be used in the preparation of students in other areas of teaching pedagogical university

The creation and improvement of modern information technologies require higher education institutions to introduce new approaches to learning, ensuring the development of communicative, creative and professional knowledge, and the need for self-education. The introduction of information technology in the educational process of universities is moving to a new stage - the introduction of new multimedia educational materials. A large number of diverse information resources are being created in Russia, which have significantly improved the quality of educational and scientific activities. More and more often multimedia technologies are used in training, the spectrum of which has expanded significantly: from the creation of training programs to the development of a holistic concept for building educational programs in the field of multimedia, the formation of new learning tools. Methodically, the textbooks are structured in such a way that they meet the programs of leading universities in Europe and the requirements of a credit-modular system for organizing the educational process, which laid the foundation in our country like the ECTS system adopted in the Bologna process. The practical value lies in the fact that the textbooks allow students, bachelors, masters and graduate students of technical universities to independently master the knowledge of modern electronics. The materials of the textbook will help specialists in practice in the development, implementation and operation of electronic devices and systems, which are an integral part of electrical, radio engineering, telecommunications, computer, biomedical and other devices and complexes, technological equipment for automating technological processes, marine, space and defense equipment. The reform of education in Russia has led to emergence of new learning pattern. Today, among numerous changes that have occurred in competence-based approach context, we note tendencies towards changes in teacher’s role in a student’s life, reduction in classroom hours and increase in the share of students’ independent work. In order to preserve and increase effectiveness of student learning, educational institutions should aim at finding new ways to use classroom hours to organize students' independent work. Insufficient knowledge of this topic actualizes the process of its further development. The purpose of our research was to verify the structure of independent work developed by the authors at a technical school in order to increase student training level. For this, the authors conducted an experiment in which two groups of second-year students of 25 people each took part. The results of the differentiated classification of two groups in the course "Engineering Graphics" were compared. The first group of students studied according to the structure available in the college, the second - with the help of the pattern developed by the authors. As a result, it was found that the second group has a higher level of training. The results of the experiment allowed us to conclude that the structure of independent work developed by the authors is very effective and its implementation will allow achieving positive results in students' competences development and in future graduates training.

The purpose of the work is to consider the possibilities of time trackers in the design activities of students. The article presents an analysis of modern time trackers that contribute to the self-organization of students to achieve educational goals. In the context of an increase in the share of independent training in universities and the expansion of distance learning, there is a need for students to master time management, which allows them to conduct activities most productively. Time management involves the use of electronic tools that promote the development of the discipline, self-organization and student planning for the rapid achievement of goals. The article discusses both trackers for large-scale professional activities, control and accounting of working hours, as well as simpler versions of trackers suitable for personal use by students. Time management ensures timely implementation of the project, allows you to evaluate the contribution of each student to the work, and adjust the activities of students. The use of time trackers in performing various tasks, including the implementation of projects, contributes to high-quality visualization of the number of hours spent on the task and, as a result, the development of discipline and self-organization of students
