Analyzing financial factors to improve production and business efficiency

The authors also thank the Faculty of Economic Information Systems, Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology.Purpose: The paper’s aim is to analyze the business and production activities of an enterprise on researching and analyzing financial situation and factors affecting financial indices. On this basis, the article gives a panoramic view of the current financial situation and offers effective solutions to manage finances. Design/Methodology/Approach: In this article we have conducted a survey and analyzed the reality of the financial situation of TISCO in the period of 2016-2018. On that basis, the authors proposed an effective financial management solution for TISCO. Findings: On the basis of analyzing the advantages of an enterprise financial factor analysis methods the paper took advantage of the strengths of the existing method combined with testing analysis, descriptive statistics and charts to assess the current situation and give general and specific overview of the financial situation of large Vietnamese enterprises such as TISCO. The paper suggests a solution for the corporate restructuring of TISCO. Practical implications: Based on the methods of financial factor analysis combined with descriptive statistical analysis the article has been applied to analyze and assess the actual financial situation in large enterprises in Vietnam and make recommendations on corporate financial management to help businesses operate more effectively. Originality/Value: The authors have conducted research and applied the analysis of the financial reality of a large enterprise that is now in a period of great loss. This article gives an accurate, honest and objective assessment of the reality of TISCO making effective recommendations on corporate financial management.peer-reviewe

Vietnam Inbound M&A Activity: the Role of Government Policy and Regulatory Environment

With a robust recent history of reform and opening, joining of the World Trade Organization, and negotiating a myriad of regional and global trade agreements, Vietnam has emerged as a promising destination for foreign direct investment(FDI) and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In this paper, we providean overview of Vietnam’s inbound mergers and acquisitions and review the twomain driving forces of inbound M&A, which are the legal framework reformprocess and the equitization of State-owned enterprises. Analysing the determinants of food security among farm households in northern upland Vietnam

The objective of this study is to analyse food security status and the factors affecting food security in Son La, a province in northern upland of Vietnam. The results suggest that 90% of the observed households experience food insecurity, in different levels including mild, moderate, and severe. Furthermore, the results from logistic regression analysis show that age, education, household size, and the number of livelihood related activities have a positive effect on food security. All the results above are consistent with those from previous similar studies. The findings from the study can provide relevant information to the development of food and agriculture policies in Son La and other mountainous provinces in Vietnam

BASIC CHARACTERISTICS OF NGUYEN AN NINH’S POLITICAL IDEOLOGY AND THE MEANING OF THAT IDEOLOGY

The late 19th and early 20th century was a special historical period for the Vietnamese people, a period of transformation that changed the nature of society. Our country was invaded by the French colonialists and became a semi-feudal, colonial country. It can be said that Nguyen An Ninh was a typical thinker of Vietnam in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He introduced political ideas consistent with the reality of the Vietnamese revolution in this historical period. Based on an overview of the basic contents of Nguyen An Ninh’s political ideology, this study aims to clarify the basic characteristics of Nguyen An Ninh’s political ideology such as (i) Deep nationality in Nguyen An Ninh’s political ideology; (ii) Vivid practicality in Nguyen An Ninh’s political ideology; (iii) Nguyen An Ninh’s political ideology represents the transition from bourgeois-democratic ideology to Marxism-Leninism. Typical Values of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Decorative Art on Bronze Objects in Hue

In the general relationship of culture and art, the Nguyen lords and kings made many contributions to the shaping and development of Cochinchina, enhanced the country's position and influence with other countries in the region. The decorative art on bronze objects in the Nguyen Dynasty contains many cultural, historical and aesthetic values with multi-dimensional and multi-layered symbol. This has shown the synthesis of values, in which aesthetic value is one of the outstanding points. The decorative art on bronze objects in the Nguyen Dynasty take an important role in preserving and conserving national artistic and cultural values. Besides this, the expressive value on bronze and the emotiveness from the surface of the material also enhance the values of the decorative art. The Nguyen Dynasty’s decorative art on bronze objects in Hue has shown the richness of art and culture. Through the study we can see and feel the great ingenuity and creative spirit of the artisan classes.
