Using the local positioning system based on Pulse Width Modulation for Robot Positioning

There are many ways to estimate the location of a moving object. One way is to determine its location using a GPS which calculates longitude and latitude of the object by the data received by the satellites rotating around the earth. However, there are no devices to recover calculated inherent errors and have an appropriate estimated signal. From robots' place, we should correct the errors made by collected data from sensors. A problem happening alternatively in the landmark identifying a method is the similar sharing data. The data obtained should be related to correcting land mark. Even though, some landmarks are likely to be similar. In addition, it is impossible to guarantee sightseeing line among landmarks in some arrangements. The other methods are to utilize radio frequency stations, which are placed around the robot by which we can find the real place of source of measurement error. In non-isolated environments, due to noises in signals using such a system should be investigated. In this PAPER, LPS (local positioning system) and the way it influences interference signals on the simulated system has been studied. A method has been tried to present in order to decrease destructive effects of noise using GA (genetic algorithm). In this way, the LPS modulation method and factors which cause interference signal and noises in the system have been stated. The obtained results have been illustrated by different simulations followed by discussions

Aircraft Controller Design to Enhance Longitudinal Maneuvers

Abstract: In many cases, we can linearize the dynamical equations of a nonlinear system depending on a parameter, for each value of that parameter around any equilibrium point. As a result, the obtained matrices of the linear model also depend on that parameter and the equilibrium point. Thus, corresponding to any value of the parameter, there exists a linear controller that can achieve satisfactory efficiency metrics at that point and its neighborhood. However, outside this neighborhood there isn't any guarantee to fulfill the minimal performance requirements. In the gain-scheduling method, we linearize the system for several points within the spanning domain of the parameter and for any of these linear models we will design controllers to switch into them depending on some criteria. In this paper, the problem of determining multiplicity of equilibrium pints in gain-scheduling method for an aircraft to have longitudinal movement is considered. Also we seek to find a criterion to tell us when each particular controller should be used which is carried out through stability margin observations and the Ȟ-Gap metric

Enhancement of biodegradable polymer properties by physical and chemical revisited method

Recently, interested in compound production has moved towards using natural polymers as strengthening due to the environmental advantages. The use of Bio-degradable matrices is worth considering since this will result in fully biodegradable compound. In to evaluate the most appropriate array plastic, one has to know the property of available plastics. Since information tends to be dispersed over several sources and are very rare in comparison to the traditional polymer materials, it is the goal of this article to provide an overview of the most relevant property of the range are biodegradable polymeric. A review like the one shown here can provide a helpful guide to establish the best balance between the comparing properties requirements

Deep learning enables genetic analysis of the human thoracic aorta

Genome-wide association analyses identify variants associated with thoracic aortic diameter. A polygenic score for ascending aortic diameter was associated with a diagnosis of thoracic aortic aneurysm in independent samples. Enlargement or aneurysm of the aorta predisposes to dissection, an important cause of sudden death. We trained a deep learning model to evaluate the dimensions of the ascending and descending thoracic aorta in 4.6 million cardiac magnetic resonance images from the UK Biobank. We then conducted genome-wide association studies in 39,688 individuals, identifying 82 loci associated with ascending and 47 with descending thoracic aortic diameter, of which 14 loci overlapped. Transcriptome-wide analyses, rare-variant burden tests and human aortic single nucleus RNA sequencing prioritized genes including SVIL, which was strongly associated with descending aortic diameter. A polygenic score for ascending aortic diameter was associated with thoracic aortic aneurysm in 385,621 UK Biobank participants (hazard ratio = 1.43 per s.d., confidence interval 1.32-1.54, P = 3.3 x 10(-20)). Our results illustrate the potential for rapidly defining quantitative traits with deep learning, an approach that can be broadly applied to biomedical images
