The cycle of risk management is an essential procedure for every company in order to be able to manage its risks. The purpose of this discussion is to explore the risk management issue of Qantas crash in Bangkok, September 1999. Analyzing the potential factors of the safety of flying that closely related to Qantas reputation would give some understanding how to improve company performance. Outlining the six steps proposed by Augustine as a guidance to manage the crisis highlights the importance of identifying the potential crisis, preventing it to happen or even finding the potential success from it. In addition, exploring the case can generate some knowledge that can help one recognizing the effective ways to deal with crisis. Finally, by looking, at the analysis as a whole, it can be concluded that there are always risks associated with flying. Therefore every effort should be made by an airplane company toward the safety of passengers. Improving knowledge of pilot is also essential to reduce human error. Moreover, regularly updating strategy and procedure will give awareness toward the best action that should be taken when facing the crisis

The Relationship Between PSN Behavior with Existence Larvae of Aedes Aegypti in Port of Pulang Pisau

The existence of Aedes aegypti larvae is an indicator of the existence of Aedes aegypti mosquito populations in the area. This mosquito is a vektor that can transmit diseases like Dengue, Zika, Yellow Fever and Chikungunya. The most effective efforts to eradicate mosquito larvae are within off the circle of mosquito chain that is by conducting mosquito nest eradication (PSN). Factors that may affect the existence of Aedes aegypti larvae are PSN behavior that consist of knowledge, attitudes and practice. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and practice mosquito eradication with existence of Aedes aegypti larvae. This study use cross sectional design with a sample size of 80 respondents selected by simple random sampling. To determine the relationship between the dependent variable and independent variables used chi square test. The independent variable in this study is the knowledge, attitude and practice. The results of this study show that based on the chi square test with α = 5% knowledge (p value = 0,004; PR = 1,76; CI 95% 1,19-2,59), attitude (p value = 0,024 ; PR = 1,55 ; CI 95% 1,08-2,24) and the PSN practice (p value = 0,000, PR = 3,89; CI 95% 2,01-7,52) relationship with existence larvae. The conclusion is that there are relationship between knowledge, attitude and practice PSN with the exixtence of Aedes aegypti larvae in the Port of Pulang Pisau

THE EFFECT OF METHOD AND WRITING INTEREST ON THE STUDENTS POETRY WRITING ABILITY AT INDONESIA LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM OF FKIP UHAMKA

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of teaching learning method and students writing interest on their poetry writing ability at Indonesia Language and Literature Education Study Program of UHAMKA. The research method used is experiment with factorial design 2x2 two ways ANOVA and the research subject was divided into 2 groups which was done randomly, they are the experiment class and the control class. The population of the research areall students of the Indonesia language and literature education study program, however the population can be reached on this research is students of the fifth semester which consists of 4 parallel classes. The technique used to get the sample is multi stage sampling by following these steps: firstly, deciding students of semester V in 2015-2016 academic year as the purposive sampling. Then, deciding one class as experimental class (Collaborative Method) and the other class as the control class (Individual Method).Based on the findings, the research yields that (1) there was a significant difference in students’ writing ability on poetry, students who studied using collaborative method is higher than those who studied individual method.(2) The students’ ability on Poetry writing who have higher writing interest and studied with collaborative method are higher than those who studied using individual method. (3) In average the students’ ability on writing poetry who has low interestand studied with collaborative method is lower than those who studied with individual method. (4) There was an influence of interaction between collaborative method and individual method with high and low intereston the students’ ability in poetry writing

KUALITAS PRODUK DAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN DIPENGARUHI OLEH KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN PADA PT TRITANU HUBS INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada PT. Tritanu Hubs Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang pelanggan PT Tritanu Hubs Indonesia. Untuk menguji data menggunakan analisa regresi linier berganda.Hasil dari analisis serta pembahasan menunjukan bahwa : (1)keputusan pembelian dipengaruhi oleh kualitas produk yang positif, (2)keputusan pembelian dipengaruhi kualitas pelayanan yang positif (3) keputusan pembelian dipengaruhi oleh kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan secara simultan. Pengaruh Arus Kas Terhadap Harga Saham Syariah Pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (Studi Kasus pada Perusahaan Sektor Perbankan Syariah yang Terdaftar pada Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia)

Dalam era globalisasi investasi saham bukanlah sesuatu yang asing. Investasi yang dapat memberikan keuntungan dimasa mendatang, tidak luput dari risiko yang dapat berimbas pada perekonomian sehingga hal ini dapat menjadi suatu masalah. Untuk mengurangi risiko dan kerugian, para investor memerlukan informasi untuk memulai investasinya. Perubahan harga saham yang terjadi setiap hari dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Arus kas yang terdapat dalam laporan keuangan perusahaan dapat dijadikan informasi bagi investor, walaupun pada realitanya banyak investor yang masih acuh. Pengaruh arus kas sebagai salah satu faktor penyebab pergerakan harga saham syariah adalah gambaran dari kinerja perusahaan itu sendiri. Dengan demikian, pengaruh arus kas terhadap harga saham syariah ini perlu diperhatikan dalam dunia investasi. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu pengaruh arus kas operasi dan arus kas pembiayaan terhadap harga saham syariah secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh komponen arus kas terhadap harga saham syariah secara parsial maupun simultan. penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel dari tiga perbankan syariah yang terdaftar pada Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI) pada BEI yang terbitkan pada tanggal 23 November 2020. Teknis analisis data menggunakan bantuan aplikasi eviews versi 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial arus kas operasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham syariah dengan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,994080 > 2,03452 dan nilai signifikan yaitu 0,0104 < 0,05, arus kas pembiayaan memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham syariah karena thitung < ttabel yaitu -3,125682 < 2,03452 dan nilai signifikan 0,0080 < 0,05. Sedangkan secara simultan semua variabel independen memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap harga saham syariah dengan nilai F-Statistik 107,9639 > F tabel 2,90 dengan nilai  probabilitas sebesar 0,000000 < 0,05. &nbsp
