    Pengaruh Kreativitas Belajar dan Disiplin Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Ekonomi pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh Kretivitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi, 2) Pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi, 3) Pengaruh kreativitas belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian asosiatif kuantitatif yang kesimpulannnya diperoleh berdasarkan pada hasil analisis statistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N Kartasura angkatan 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 284 siswa dengan sampel 71 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling dengan cara undian. Data yang yang diperlukan diperoleh melalui metode angket dan metode dokumentasi. Sebelumnya angket telah diuji-cobakan dan diuji validitas serta diuji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, uji R2, sumbangan relatif dan efektif. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan regresi: Y = 45,301+ 0,499X1 + 0,325X2 yang artinya prestasi belajar ekonomi dipengaruhi oleh kreativitas belajar dan disiplin belajar. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah: 1) kreativitas belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Kartasura angkatan 2013/2014. Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,687 > 1,999 (α=5%) dan nilai signifikansi ttabel yaitu 5,384> ttabel 1,999 (α=5%) dan nilai signifikansi Ftabel yaitu 26,829>3,131 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. 4) variabel X1 memberikan sumbangan relatif sebesar 53,64% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 23,655%, variabel X2 memberikan sumbangan relatif sebesar 42,35% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 18,67%. 5) Hasil perhitungan R2diperoleh 0,441,berarti 42,325% prestasi belajar ekonomi dipengaruhi oleh kreativitas belajar dan disiplin belajar, sisanya sebesar 55,9% dipengaruhi variabel di luar penelitian.,The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) Effect of Creativity learning the learning achievement of economic, 2) The effect of the discipline of learning the learning achievement of economic, 3) Effect of creativity in learning and discipline of learning the learning achievement of the economy. This research includes studies associative quantitative conclusions obtained based on the results of statistical analysis. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP N Kartasura force 2014/2015, amounting to 284 students with a sample of 71 students drawn by random sampling technique by means of a lottery. The data required is obtained through the questionnaire method and the method of documentation. Previously-tested questionnaire was piloted and tested for validity and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, the relative contribution and effective. Results of regression analysis regression equation: Y = 45,301+ 0,499X1 + 0,325X2 which means the learning achievement of economies affected by the creativity of learning and discipline of learning. The conclusion is: 1) creativity learning significantly influence learning achievement of economic grade students of SMP N 2 Kartasura force 2013/2014. Based on t test obtained t> t table is 3.687> 1.999 (α = 5%) and a significance value t table is 5.384> 1.999 ttabel (α = 5%) and a significance value Ftable is 26.829> 3.131 at a significance level of 5%. 4) variable X1 gives the relative contribution of 53.64% and the effective contribution of 23.655%, X2 gives the relative contribution of 42.35% and the effective contribution of 18.67%. 5) The calculation R2diperoleh 0.441, meaning 42.325% economic study achievement is influenced by the creativity of learning and discipline of study, the remaining 55.9% influenced by variables outside the research

    The influence of social support on academic performance: The mediating role of cognitive engagement

    Academic performance, which measures a student’s success in learning, is influenced by various factors. One of the most important determinants of academic performance is social support. Parents, teachers, and friends all play a critical role in providing the necessary support that affects students’ cognitive engagement. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between social support and academic performance, which could be directly or indirectly mediated by cognitive engagement. The subjects used were 228 high school students in 11th grade, aged 15-18. Data were measured using Academic Performance Rating Scale (APRS), Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASS), and Students Engagement Scale (SES) with Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.84, 0.93, and 0.88, respectively. The mediation analysis was conducted using the PROCESS model 4 developed by Hayes. The results showed that the relationship between social support and academic performance occurred through the mediation of cognitive engagement (� = 0.16), with no direct correlation (� = 0.12, p = 0.350). Specifically, more excellent social support was associated with increased cognitive engagement (� = 0.50, p = 0.000), leading to improved academic performance (� = 0.32, p = 0.005). Therefore, it was confirmed that social support is essential to students’ cognitive engagement and academic performance

    A Pragmatic Analysis Of Phatic Expression On MIG33 Internet Chatting Application

    The study aims to identify the forms of phatic expression on mig33 internet chatting application and to describe the contextual meaning of phatic expression on mig33 internet chatting application. Phatic means the language does not have specific function or purpose. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The writer employs observation and documentation method in collecting the data. After finding the data, the writer signs and makes checklist on phatic expression to look for the words and sentence showing phatic expression. Then, the writer clarifies them based on the characteristic of phenomena, he identifies the form of phatic based on theory of linguistic form, continues the process of spelling based on theory of English abbreviation and phonetic. The results of the research show that first, the forms of phatic expression on mig33 internet chatting application consist of seven kinds. Acronym has 3 data (9,67%), clipping has 16 data (51,61%), invention has 1 data (3,23%), blending has 1 data (3,23%), declarative has 4 data (12,90%), interrogative has 5 data (16,13%), and imperative has 1 data (3,23%). Second, there are ten kinds of meaning in phatic expression on mig33 internet chatting application, namely: those which mean question, 75 data (60,98%), those which mean parting, 2 data (1,63%), those which mean greeting, 7 data (5,70%), those which mean agreement, 9 data (7,31%), those which mean apologize, 5 data (4,06%), those which mean expectation, 6 data (4,87%), those which mean thankful, 2 data (1,63%), those which mean reason, 4 data (3,25%), those which mean conditional, 2 data (1,63%) and those which mean request, 11 data (8,94%)

    PENGEMBANGAN ALAT UKUR TES CHINNING UP BERBASIS SENSOR INFRARED DAN SENSOR ULTRASONIC DENGAN SEVEN SEGMENT DISPLAY.

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tentang pengembangan alat ukur tes chinning up berbasis sensor infrared dan sensor ultrasonic dengan seven segment display. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu terciptanya alat ukur untuk mengukur daya tahan kekuatan lengan untuk perempuan berupa tiang portable yang bisa di atur pengukurannya dan juga dilengkapi sensor. Alasan dari tujuan ini adalah untuk meminimalisir gerakan chin up yang kurang benar seperti saat dagu tidak melewati palang , lengan tidak lurus dan penghitungan yang kurang tepat sehingga alat ini perlu digunakan saat melakukan tes chin up. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode research and development, karena penelitian ini melakukan pengembangan dan menghasilkan produk. Setelah diuji cobakan kepada sampel, hasilnya menujukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata dari setiap tes. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa alat yang dikembangkan dapat bekerja dengan baik dan melakukan fungsinya sebagai alat ukur daya tahan kekuatan lengan. Temuan lainnya yaitu tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara tes chin up dengan sensor dan tes chin up tanpa sensor, namun jika dilihat dari rata-rata dari perolehan tes, tes tanpa sensor memiliki nilai rata-rata yang sedikit lebih besar dibandingkan dengan tes menggunakan sensor hal ini menunjukan bahwa tes menggunakan sensor lebih baik dikarenakan bantuan beberapa sensor.;--- Chinningup or exercise to measure arm strength endurance used worldwide to assess someone's physical fitness is very important for army recruits and some particular sports. However, the existing tools has several issues that do not have sensors that can calculate the movement perfectly, often has human error when the calculation of the movement, and has limited availability of pole chinning up that is usually just next to the jogging track. Therefore, the researcher efforts to develop tools free standing-up chinning bar chinning up stations for test-based infrared sensors and ultrasonic sensors with seven segment display. This research aimed to determine the working system and test results of chinning up measurement instrument based on infrared and ultrasonic sensors with seven segment display. The hypothesis is the development of chinning up measuring instrument based on infrared and ultrasonic sensors with seven segment display. Sampling was done randomly, namely to the criteria of reproductive age and women that was conducted at the stadium Indonesia University of Education and Sport Sciences Laboratory FPOK UPI Bandung. Thesis supervisor hadrole as an expert validator.The result showed that there is no difference between chinning up using and without a sensor, yet the average from the group test has bigger value. The implications derived from this research that chinning up measuring instrument based on infrared and ultrasonic sensors can be used by all people, especially women and can figure out either right moves or not automatically. As recommendation is this research should be continued with the support and assistance program of sport science program study and even sports agencies or organizations to develop further a national product of Indonesia

    Penerapan Esp Di Perguruan Tinggi Umum (Non English Majors) Melalui Pendekatan Content-based Instruction-cbt

    Mata Kuliah bahaa Inggris di perguruan tinggi umum (nonEnglish majors) di Indonesia pada umumnya adalah sebagai bagian dari mata kuliah pengembangan kepribadian. (MPK). Kelompok mata kuliah tersebut termasuk dalam kurikulum institusional yang isinya disesuaikan menurut ciri khas perguruan tinggi (PT) yang bersangkutan dengan mengacu kepada Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional (Kemendiknas) Nomor: 232/U/2000. Karena kurikulumnya disusun secara institusional, maka kurikulum dan silabus mata kuliah tersebut ditengarai tidak selalu mencerminkan ciri khas PT bersangkutan. Ciri khas dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ini hendaknya menerapkan bahasa Inggris untuk tujuan khusus (English for Specific Purposes yang disingkat ESP) dengan pendekatan CBT yang mengintegrasikan bahasa Inggris untuk akademik (English for Academic Purposes yang disingkat EAP) dan bahasa Inggris untuk pekerjaan atau profesi (English for Occupation yang disingkat EOP). Metode penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif kualitatif terhadap data yang diperoleh dengan mengidentifikasi dan mengobservasi kurikulum dan silabus mata kuliah bahasa Inggris yang telah diterapkan sejak tahun 2007 pada delapan PT yang diperoleh secara acakbaik negeri maupun swasta serta jenis PT. Dari sejumlah silabus tersebut, dua diantaranya dilakukan survei langsung karena lokasinya terletak di daerah yang sama dengan PT penulis yang dikatagorikan sebagai data primer. Sedangkan lainnya diperoleh melalui penelusuran internet (online) yang dikatagorikan sebagai data sekunder. Berdasarkan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa materi pembelajaran termasuk dalam tiga katagori, yakni; (1) English for General Purposes (data: PT-1, PT-2, dan PT-7), (2) English Grammar (data: PT-3, PT-4, dan PT-6), (3) ESP dan English for General (data PT-5, dan PT-8). Dengan demikian, tidak terdapat program studi dari sejumlah PT tersebut yang menerapkan pembelajaran ESP dengan pendekatan CBT pada mata kuliah bahasa Inggris yang mencerminkan ciri khas bidang keilmuannya pada semua PT tersebut.English course at nonEnglish majorsof Higher Education (HE) settings in Indonesia is part of a personal development courses ‘Matakuliah Pengembangan Kepribadian–MPK'. The course is including in the Institutional Curriculum, which its content is based on the related HE typical referring to the National Education Ministry Decree ‘Kepmendiknas' Number 232/U/2000. Since the institutional curriculum is composed institutionally, so its content was assumed not always represent the related HE typical. The typical of English learning in this context is should applied the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) with CBT approach that integrate the English course for Academic purposes (EAP) related to the field of study and the English for Occupation Purposes (EOP) related to the job or profession in the future. The research method was a qualitatif descriptif which was conducted through identification and observation of the curriculum and syllaby of English course that had been applied since 2007.at eight states and private, and types of the HE that taken randomly. Referring to the collected syllabus, two were taken throughdirectly survey because the location was the same region with the author which categorized as the primer data, and the others cattegorized as the seconder data which were taken through internet access. Based on the data, it is shown that the learning materials of the HE were included into three categories; (1) English for General Purposes (data HE-1, HE-2, andHE-7), (2) English Grammar (data HE-3, HE-4, andHE-6), (3) ESP and English for General (dat HE-5, andHE-8). Therefore, none of the study program was applied the ESP with CBT approah for the English course that representing the field of study at all those of HE

    DEVELOPING SCIENCE VIRTUAL TEST TO MEASURE STUDENTS’ CRITICAL THINKING ON LIVING THINGS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY THEME

    Berpikir kritis adalah keterampilan dan kemampuan yang dapat digunakan dalam pengambilan resiko secara kreatif untuk membuat keputusan dan pengetahuan sebagai hasil, analisis dan sintesis, evaluasi, untuk mengakuisisi, pencarian informasi, untuk mengembangkan pemikiran, atas kesadaran individu terhadap pemikirannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan science virtual test dalam mengukur berpikir kritis siswa dengan tema makhluk hidup dan kelestarian lingkungan. Proses pengembangan science virtual test ini terdiri dari lima tahap: (1) analisis konten atau materi; (2) pembuatan instrumen (pilihan ganda) berdasarkan unsur-unsur berpikir kritis oleh Inch; (3) uji validitas (penilaian) instrumen oleh ahli; (4) uji keterbacaan soal oleh siswa; dan (5) melakukan uji lapangan (kelas besar). Berdasarkan uji lapangan kelas besar maka diperoleh hasil validitas dan reliabilitas tes, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan kualitas pengecoh. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP bertaraf internasional kelas 8 yang ada di Bandung dengan 125 total responden. Koefisien alpha (α) adalah 0,747, sehingga diklasisfikasikan sebagai tes yang memiliki keandalan atau konsistensi yang tinggi dan nilai korelasi XY adalah 0.63 yang berarti bahwa tes ini memiliki validitas yang tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa science virtual test dapat digunakan untuk mengukur berpikir kritis siswa dengan konsistensi yang baik.;---Critical thinking is skill and ability to use, use of risk taking creativity to make a decision and knowledge as a result, analysis and synthesis that, evaluation, to acquire, information search, to develop thinking, as an individual aware of his own thinking. The aim of this study is to develop science virtual test to measure students’ critical thinking on living things and environmental sustainability theme. The development of science virtual test item consist of five steps: (1) content analysis; (2) constructing the instrument (multiple choice) based on the elements of critical thinking by Inch; (3) validity judgement of the instrument by the expert; (4) legibility test of the instrument; (5) conducting the large test. On the large field test was gained the results of validity and reliability of the test, difficulty index, discriminating power, and quality of distractor. The subjects of research were 8th grade students at International Junior High School in Bandung with 125 total of respondents. The coefficient alpha (α) was 0.747, the reliability of the test was categorized as ‘high’ and value of XY correlation was 0.63 which mean that the validity of the test was categorized as ‘high’. These means that science virtual test can be used to measure student’s critical thinking with a good consistency

    PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN KINERJA (PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT ) SISWA SMA PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENGARUH KONSENTRASI TERHADAP LAJU REAKSI DENGAN METODE PRAKTIKUM

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian kinerja yang terdiri dari tugas (task) dan rubrik yang memenuhi kriteria valid, reliabel, feasibel serta dapat mengungkap keterampilan siswa sebenarnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan dan validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria validitas isi yang baik. Instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0.972 (Kategori Sangat Tinggi). Instrumen yang dikembangkan lebih feasibel untuk menilai praktikum dengan 5 praktikan tiap putaran dibandingkan 10 praktikan tiap putaran, serta instrumen yang dikembangkan dapat mengungkap kemampuan kinerja siswa sebenarnya dan kinerja siswa dikategorikan menjadi Sangat Baik, Baik, Kurang, Kurang Sekali dan Tidak Melakukan pada setiap indikator praktikum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen penilain kinerja yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat sebagai alat evaluasi yang baik dan layak digunakan.;---The purpose of this study was to develop the instrument of performance assessment using task and rubric in the observation sheet that had criteria of valid, reliable, feasible, and interpretable the student real skills. This study was using the development and validation method. The results showed that the instrument that has been developed had qualified good criteria of the content validity. The reliability value was 0,972 with the high category. The experiment using five practitioners was more feasible than using ten practitioners, and also the instrument was interpretable the student real skills. Based on this study, can be concluded that the development of the performance assessment has been qualified as good and can be used

    UPAYA EDUKATIF PADA PROGRAM TENTARA MANUNGGAL MEMBANGUN DESA (TMMD) DALAM MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT

    Program Tentara Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) merupakan merupakan program terpadu yang dilakukan oleh seluruh personel Tentara Nasional Indonesia dari semua matra kesatuan dalam rangka membantu pemerintah dalam akselerasi pembagunan masyarakat baik fisik maupun nonfisik, pengembangan wilayah teritori dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang difokuskan dipedesaan diseluruh wilayah negara kesatuan republik Indonesia. Tujuan utama dibentuk dan diselenggarakannya program TMMD adalah untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat dan dalam rangka membangun kemanunggalan atau keterpaduan antara TNI dengan masyarakat. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penyelenggaraan program TMMD, untuk mendeskripsikan upaya edukatif program TMMD dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi masyarakat Desa Sukamaju sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti TMMD dan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penyelenggaraan program TMMD. Kajian teori dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada konsep pembangunan masyarakat, konsep taksonomi pembelajaran, konsep partisipasi masyarakat, konsep pemberdayaan masyarakat dan konsep program Tentara Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan angket. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari dua orang informan dari KODIM 0609 selaku penyelenggara, aparat desa Sukamaju selaku fasilitator dan 46 responden dari 2 RW selaku pengguna program TMMD. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dan pembahasan maka diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu : 1) Penyelenggaraan program TMMD menggunakan pendekatan pembangunan berbasis masyarakat, dimana masyarakat merupakan pengambil keputusan serta subjek pembangunan., 2) Upaya edukatif dalam program ini yaitu meliputi upaya peningkatan kognitif yang terdiri dari pengetahuan, pemahaman, aplikasi, analisis, sintesis dan penilaian. Upaya selanjutnya meliputi upaya peningkaan afektif yang terdiri dari penerimaan, tanggapan, penghargaan, pengorganisasian dan karakterisasi berdasarkan nilai. Upaya yang selanjutnya meliputi upaya peningkatan keterampilan yang terdiri dari etos kerja, kesiapan, mekanisme, respon kerja, penyesuaian dan pencipataan skill baru., 3) Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program ini diukur dari tiga indikator yakni dimensi kontribusi, pengorganisasian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat., 4) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang muncul selama proses penyelenggaraan program TMMD ini yang meliputi kekuatan, peluang, kelemahan dan ancaman. Kata Kunci : Program TMMD, Upaya Edukatif, Partisipasi Masyarakat, Pembangunan masyarakat, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Army Programme Integrated Village Building (TMMD) is an integrated program conducted by the entire personnel of the Indonesian Armed Forces of all the dimension of unity in order to assist the government in accelerating pembagunan community, both physical and nonphysical, development of territories and community empowerment that is focused in rural areas throughout the territory of the unitary state Republic of Indonesia. The main objective was formed and held TMMD program is for the welfare of society and in order to establish the oneness or coherence between the military and society. The research method by using a qualitative approach to data collection techniques such as questionnaires, interviews and observations Based on the results of data processing and the discussion it could be concluded that: 1) Implementation of the program TMMD approach community-driven development, where the community is the decision maker and the subject of development. 2) educational efforts in this program which includes efforts to improve cognitive consisting of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and assessment. Subsequent attempts include efforts to increase affective effort which further includes efforts to increase skills 3) The level of public participation before and after the program is measured by three indicators, namely dimensional contribution, organizing and community empowerment., 4) supporting factors and obstacles that arise during the process of implementation of the program This TMMD which includes strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats.     Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction in the Hotel Industry

    Common perception by practitioners in the hotel industry today that satisfied guest would become profitability to the company is considered as a major subject for this research. Therefore, this study is conducted to extend the previous research on the service quality by examining the relationship between service quality and customer's satisfaction. The importance of this study is to identify the factors that lead to guest's satisfaction and also proposing a method to assist hotel in identifying characteristics which will increase customer's satisfaction. In this research, the service quality is measured through perception of hotel guest and manager toward the service quality of three hotels located in Kota Bharu by using five dimensions of SERVQUAL (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy). There are also another two additional dimensions used which are food quality and reasonable price. On the other hand, the model gaps were also applied in order to identify the gaps between perception of hotel managers and guest (Gap 1) and between perceptions and expectation of customers (Gap 5) towards service quality of hotel. The hypotheses of this study supported that there are significant relationship between service quality and customer's satisfaction. Besides that, this study found that there is difference regarding perceptions between hotel manager and guest. However there is no difference for customers' perception and expectation regarding the hotel service except for two variables which are tangible and customer satisfaction
