Solución de los problemas de localización y dimensionamiento de centros urbanos de distribución y enrutamiento de sus vehículos

50 páginasEn la mayoría de las grandes y medianas ciudades, las operaciones de transporte de mercancías tienen un impacto notable en la movilidad del tráfico urbano, así como en las actividades comerciales de la ciudad. La creación de centros urbanos de distribución cerca del centro de las ciudades para consolidar las cargas, es una iniciativa implementada alrededor del mundo que busca disminuir la congestión del tráfico vehicular en las calles y la calidad de vida sus habitantes. Este trabajo considera el problema de localizar los centros de distribución en las zonas urbanas y propone un enfoque para la toma de decisiones a nivel estratégico, táctico y operativo. Se busca resolver, de manera integral, los problemas de localización, dimensionamiento y operación (ruteo de camiones) en estas terminales logísticas. El enfoque es validado usando datos de la vida real provenientes de la ciudad de SaintÉtienne, Francia. Así mismo, se realizan comparaciones experimentales con procedimientos existentes en la literatura. Los resultados muestran la eficiencia y efectividad del enfoque propuesto y su aplicabilidad en la realidad, para instancias hasta de tamaño grande donde, las salidas del enfoque, deben ser analizadas por el tomador de decisiones y pueden mejorar la competitividad del sistema logístico y las condiciones ambientales y sociales de la ciudad en cuestión

This paper considers the problem of locating urban distribution centers and proposes an exact method, based on integer linear programming for strategic, tactical and operational decision-making. The aim is to solve, in an integer manner, location, sizing and operation (vehicle routing) problems in these logistics platforms. The model is validated using real-data taken from the city of SaintÉtienne, France. Computational experiments are also carried out in order to compare the proposed model with existing procedures from the literature. Results show the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed model and its applicability in real decision-making for medium sized data sets

Green value stream mapping approach to improving productivity and environmental performance

[EN] Purpose The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new methodology called overall greenness performance for value stream mapping (OGP-VSM). Using value-added concepts, this approach has the potential to integrate, measure, control and improve productive and environmental performance in accordance with a company¿s context. Design/methodology/approach The OGP-VSM approach was developed by reviewing and integrating the environmental aspects of existing lean thinking tools and approaches. Findings This research revealed the lack of practical integration between productive and environmental performance. Using OGP-VSM, managers can see that environmental practices have a direct impact on productivity. OGP-VSM allows a balance to be found between lean and green practices in order to achieve the simultaneous improvement of productivity and environmental performance. Practical implications The proposed approach is applied to a case study in an automotive company in Spain and lays the groundwork for moving toward functional environmental sustainability in manufacturers. Originality/value Companies are increasingly implementing environmentally focused practices. Pursuing environmentally friendly (green) performance poses several challenges, but it also affords opportunities to create new methodologies for generating a competitive advantage for manufacturing companies. Short- and mid-term evaluation of the use of electric vehicles in urban freight transport collaborative networks: a case study

Despite its negative impacts, freight transportation is a primary component of all supply chains. Decision makers have considered diverse strategies, such as Horizontal Collaboration (HC) and the usage of alternative types of vehicles, to reduce overall cost and the related environmental and social impacts. This paper assesses the implementation of an electric fleet of vehicles in urban goods distribution under HC strategy between carriers. A biased randomisation based algorithm is used to solve the problem with a multi-objective function to explore the relationships between both delivery and environmental costs. Real data from the city of Bogota, Colombia are used to validate this approach. Experiments with different costs and demands projections are performed to analyse short- and medium-term impacts related to the usage of electric vehicles in collaborative networks. Simulation-based optimization approach for vehicle allocation in a private transport service: A case study

Poor urban planning and traffic congestion lead to excessive delays in workers’ transit times and decrease their quality of life, especially in emerging countries. Several medium and large companies have a need to hire a transport service for their staff. In this type of transportation system, there is a heterogeneous fleet of vehicles, which are assigned to a set of predefined routes. However, the total transport delay can be even greater if the private transportation system is inefficient or not controlled. The approach proposed in this study seeks to optimize the private transport service by defining the best allocation of its fleet to its routes. A mathematical model is proposed to minimize user wait times. This approach is validated using real data obtained from a transport company in Co-lombia. The results demonstrate the quantitative benefits that can be achieved when the proposed approach is implemented, represented by a considerable reduction in user wait times

Matriz evaluación del proyecto.Colombia es un país constituido como un estado y por lo tanto este país y sus habitantes se rigen por los principios consagrados en el estado social de derecho en el cual los ciudadanos se rinden de la libertad individual y hay sometimiento a los beneficios generales y sociales brindados por un estado proveedor y respetuoso de un marco constitucional. Dentro de este sistema los ciudadanos colombianos tienen por un lado derechos que deben ser garantizados por el estado y por otro lado deberes que deben ser de igual forma garantizados por cada ciudadano. Sin embargo, el contrato social de derecho se ha venido quebrando en Colombia y por parte del estado colombiano puesto que cada vez son más los ciudadanos que no pueden obtener la satisfacción plena de sus necesidades y es en ese punto de espacio y tiempo en que le son vulnerados los derechos a una gran cantidad de colombianos. Tanto garantizar los derechos de los ciudadanos por parte del estado colombiano como de resarcir los no consolidados son indispensables si este país desea cumplir con las obligaciones contraídas en el contrato social de derecho y en los acuerdos internacionales. Tal vez la herramienta más importante con la que cuentan los estados modernos para cumplir con sus funciones es el sistema judicial. Sin embargo, el sistema judicial colombiano está planteado para ser un sistema administrativista y no un sistema garantista que atienda efectivamente las necesidades de sus ciudadanos de manera amplia y democrática. Ese planteamiento administrativista de la justicia y el desconocimiento de los derechos y deberes por gran parte de la población hace que el acceso a la justicia en Colombia se encuentre con barreras de tipo económicas, geográficas y culturales que han creado por un lado discriminación y por otro lado han traído empobrecimiento y falta de desarrollo económico para una gran parte de la población la cual por estos hechos han perdido la confianza en la institucionalidad colombiana. Por lo anterior se hace necesario fortalecer el acceso a la justicia a la población con derechos vulnerados y no atendidos con el objetivo de lograr la satisfacción de sus necesidades en términos de derechos no resueltos. actividades de tipo educativas, de asesoramiento y de acercamiento eficaz a la institucionalidad son actividades reivindicatorias necesarias en busca de desarrollo humano sostenible en termino de acceso a la justicia y a las institucionesBuilding the Future in Commune 20 of Cali through Access to Justice Colombia is a country constituted as a state and therefore this country and its inhabitants are governed by the principles enshrined in the social rule of law in which citizens surrender their individual freedom and there is submission to the general and social benefits provided by a state provider and respectful of a constitutional framework. Within this system, Colombian citizens have on the one hand, rights that must be guaranteed by the state and, on the other hand, duties that must be equally guaranteed by each citizen. However, the legal social contract has been breaking in Colombia and by the Colombian state since more and more citizens cannot obtain the full satisfaction of their needs and it is at that point of space and time that the rights of many Colombians are violated. Both guaranteeing the rights of citizens by the Colombian state and compensating those that are not consolidated are essential if this country wishes to comply with the obligations contracted in the social contract of law and the international agreement. Perhaps the most important tool that modern states have to fulfill their functions is the judicial system. However, the Colombian judicial system is designed to be an administrative system and not a guaranteed system that effectively meets the needs of its citizens in a comprehensive and democratic manner. This administrative approach to justice and the lack of knowledge of rights and duties by a large part of the population means that access to justice in Colombia comes up against economic, geographical and cultural barriers that have created discrimination on the one hand and on the other side have brought impoverishment and lack of economic development for a large part of the population which, due to these events, have lost confidence in Colombian institutions. That’s why, it is necessary to strengthen access to justice for the population with violated and unattended rights in order to achieve the satisfaction of their needs in terms of unresolved rights. Educational activities, counseling and an effective approach to institutions are necessary advocacy activities in search of sustainable human development in terms of access to justice and institutions

Guía de práctica clínica para la prevención, detección temprana, diagnóstico, tratamiento y seguimiento de las dislipidemias en la población mayor de 18 años

La Guía de práctica clínica para la prevención, detección temprana, diagnóstico, tratamiento y seguimiento de las dislipidemias en la población mayor de 18 años está dirigida a los adultos en riesgo para el desarrollo de dislipidemia o con diagnóstico establecido de dislipidemia, como también, para todo el personal de salud encargado de su atención en los diferentes niveles de complejidad del sistema de salud colombiano. Permitirá brindar parámetros de práctica clínica, basados en la mejor evidencia disponible para la atención en salud y el uso racional de recursos en esta patología. Se introducen cambios en el proceso de atención, que buscan disminuir la variabilidad injustificada en el abordaje de este grupo de pacientes generando procesos eficientes, sencillos y ajustados a la población colombiana; la guía es el resultado de un arduo proceso en el que se contó con la participación de expertos temáticos y expertos metodológicos, así como representantes de los pacientes y de las sociedades científicas y las universidades involucradas, y del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social. En la siguiente sección se presentarán de forma resumida las recomendaciones y los puntos de buena práctica clínica para cada una de las preguntas formuladas, información que se amplía posteriormente en el capítulo respectivo.Guía de práctica clínica1-6

Experiencias en el aula: tercer encuentro de prácticas pedagógicas innovadoras.

Experiencias de profesores en su quehacer en los distintos ambientes de aprendizaje presenciales y a distancia.Para el Centro de Excelencia Docente aeiou constituye un honor presentar la publicación del Tercer Encuentro de Prácticas Pedagógicas Innovadoras en el que se destacan cuarenta trabajos de profesores de UNIMINUTO provenientes de diferentes sedes. Con este encuentro son ya tres que bajo la dirección de aeiou los profesores han compartido su quehacer en los distintos ambientes de aprendizaje presenciales y a distancia. Cada año el Centro de Excelencia Docente invita a los profesores a participar en este evento, para el 2108 además de la inscripción voluntaria por parte de cada profesor, se invitó al estudiantado a que postularan a sus profesores que consideraban eran innovadores y creativos en el cumplimiento de su función docente y se obtuvo una respuesta importante por parte de los estudiantes, que para algunos profesores resultó sorpresiva porque quizás no habían considerado que el trabajo que hacían en su ambiente de aprendizaje era diferente, fuera de lo común. Luego de una evaluación de jurados nacionales e internacionales de las prácticas presentadas y de la realización del evento, que tuvo como novedad hacerlo de forma simultánea en cuatro sedes donde UNIMINUTO tiene presencia: Buga, Ibagué, Pereira y Bogotá, se comparte la presente publicación para tener como referencia y evidencia el trabajo que los profesores hacen a diario
