El Archivo Histórico del Centro de Estudios Agrarios de Extremadura: custodio del patrimonio del campo extremeño

The CEA (Centro de Estudios Agrarios/ Centre for Agrarian Studies) aims at providing the user with a complete overview of the development and transformations undergone by the countryside of Extremadura from the mid-19th century to the end of the last century using a diversity of objects, documents and publications. It also aims to have and disseminate works that review that period in its Central Library. Furthermore, the CEA has the capacity to edit and publish some of these specialized publications through the Printing and Publications unit of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Population and Territory. In this experience, we provide the reader with a brief description of the contents of its Historical Archive.El Centro de Estudios Agrarios (CEA) es una unidad cuyo objetivo es servir al usuario un completo panorama del devenir del campo extremeño (objetos, documentos, publicaciones…) desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta finales del pasado siglo y, además, contar con trabajos que revisan aquella época en su Biblioteca Central. Sistematización de la práctica profesional Luma Televisión S.A.S y la creación de la página digital Actualidad al Día Informativo

La creación de la página en la red social de Facebook,En este trabajo de sistematización de la práctica profesional en la Empresa Luma Televisión SAS, está cada uno de los aportes significativos que se hicieron a lo largo de los cuatro meses que se estuvo allí, a lo largo de los cuatro meses que se inició desde el 15 de febrero hasta el 27 de mayo del 2021. La creación de la página en la red social de Facebook, como producto de la práctica profesional en la cual se generaron unos aportes significativos como producto del semestre de la universidad Minuto De Dios, con el nombre de Actualidad Al Día Informativo, la cual serviría para la creación de contenido noticioso donde la comunidad de Melgar, se mantuviera informada de los distintos acontecimientos. En esta entrega están los teóricos que hacen su aporte del porqué las fake news afectan a una sociedad, los medios de comunicación de televisión, medios de comunicación digitales que generan impacto en la sociedad. Para ellos se generó una encuesta en la que se establecieron unas preguntas dirigidas a las personas de la población de Melgar. Con los instrumentos de conformación de la creación y de cómo creció la página en seguidores con distintas variables de cuantas personas en hombres y mujeres, rango de edad que le permite crecer con cada impacto de los contenidos con los que se publicó en su momento, esto influyó para el aumento de seguidores, los modelos de divulgación para que la página Actualidad Al Día Informativo se hiciera conocer; para terminar están todos los aportes significativos y de relevancia como estudiante y practicante de una empresa que sirve como aliada estratégica de un medio de comunicación nacional y de establecer unas estrategias que le permitiera crecer estructuralmente y financieramente.In this work of systematization of the professional practice in the Luma Televisión SAS Company, there is each of the significant contributions that were made throughout the four months that it was there, throughout the four months that began from the February 15 to May 27, 2021. Genome-Wide RNAi Screening Identifies Novel Pathways/Genes Involved in Oxidative Stress and Repurposable Drugs to Preserve Cystic Fibrosis Airway Epithelial Cell Integrity

Recurrent infection-inflammation cycles in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients generate a highly oxidative environment, leading to progressive destruction of the airway epithelia. The identification of novel modifier genes involved in oxidative stress susceptibility in the CF airways might contribute to devise new therapeutic approaches. We performed an unbiased genome-wide RNAi screen using a randomized siRNA library to identify oxidative stress modulators in CF airway epithelial cells. We monitored changes in cell viability after a lethal dose of hydrogen peroxide. Local similarity and protein-protein interaction network analyses uncovered siRNA target genes/pathways involved in oxidative stress. Further mining against public drug databases allowed identifying and validating commercially available drugs conferring oxidative stress resistance. Accordingly, a catalog of 167 siRNAs able to confer oxidative stress resistance in CF submucosal gland cells targeted 444 host genes and multiple circuitries involved in oxidative stress. The most significant processes were related to alternative splicing and cell communication, motility, and remodeling (impacting cilia structure/function, and cell guidance complexes). Other relevant pathways included DNA repair and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling. The mTOR inhibitor everolimus, the α1-adrenergic receptor antagonist doxazosin, and the Syk inhibitor fostamatinib significantly increased the viability of CF submucosal gland cells under strong oxidative stress pressure. Thus, novel therapeutic strategies to preserve airway cell integrity from the harsh oxidative milieu of CF airways could stem from a deep understanding of the complex consequences of oxidative stress at the molecular level, followed by a rational repurposing of existing "protective" drugs. Repopulation of decellularized retinas with hiPSC-derived retinal pigment epithelial and ocular progenitor cells shows cell engraftment, organization and differentiation

Decellularization; Ocular progenitors; RetinaDescelularización; Progenitores oculares; RetinaDescel·lularització; Progenitors oculars; RetinaThe retinal extracellular matrix (ECM) provides architectural support, adhesion and signal guidance that controls retinal development. Decellularization of the ECM affords great potential to tissue engineering; however, how structural retinal ECM affects in vitro development, differentiation and maturation of ocular cells remains to be elucidated. Here, mouse and porcine retinas were decellularized and the protein profile analyzed. Acellular retinal ECM (arECM) scaffolds were then repopulated with human iPSC-derived retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells or ocular progenitor cells (OPC) to assess their integration, proliferation and organization. 3837 and 2612 unique proteins were identified in mouse and porcine arECM, respectively, of which 93 and 116 proteins belong to the matrisome. GO analysis shows that matrisome-related proteins were associated with the extracellular region and cell junction and KEGG pathways related to signalling transduction, nervous and endocrine systems and cell junctions were enriched. Interestingly, mouse and porcine arECMs were successfully repopulated with both RPE and OPC, the latter exhibiting cell lineage-specific clusters. Retinal cells organized into different layers containing well-defined areas with pigmented cells, photoreceptors, Müller glia, astrocytes, and ganglion cells, whereas in other areas, conjunctival/limbal, corneal and lens cells re-arranged in cell-specific self-organized areas. El objetivo de este proyecto es desarrollar una aplicación móvil para dinamizar los procesos de actualización de los transformadores de distribución de la Empresa De Energía del Pacifico. Para ello se utilizara como plataforma el sistema operativo Android En la actualidad las aplicaciones móviles tienen un crecimiento exponencial, esto permite avanzar y ofrecer más prestaciones a los usuarios que demanda de la computación muchos elementos de solución para los grandes avances de investigación que centran sus procesos en la creación de pluralidad de aplicaciones. Por esta razón se diseña un piloto que tienen como meta crear una oportunidad de crecimiento con la implementación de esta aplicación móvil, la misma sirve para actualizar los sistemas de información que manejan los activos de la Compañía. La implementación de la aplicación depurara y actualizara los registro de Transformadores de Distribución en EPSA ESP. Esta línea de investigación es una buena oportunidad de evolución para muchas empresas del sector eléctrico que tienen como indicador de gestión mantener actualizada las Base de datos en los transformadores de Distribución, la información se modifica cuando se generan movimiento y reposición en las redes de distribución de energía; lo anterior reemplazara el uso de los formatos físicos que se diligenciaban en terreno, esto ahorrara el uso de papel como beneficio al medio ambiente. Cambios fisiológicos, texturales y fisicoquímicos de dos variedades de chontaduro (bactris gasipaes) en poscosecha

The chontaduro is one of the most important exotic fruits to Colombia because of its significant contribution in nutrients as it has 8822 hectares in the departments of Valle del Cauca, Cauca and Putumayo. Changes in two varieties of peach fruit (red and yellow) during the postharvest period under ambient conditions from the municipality of El Tambo (Cauca) to provide guidance for buying and selling help in marketing were evaluated. Weight loss, amplitude, length and pulp-shell ratio seed were directly proportional to water loss in ripening, however, the fat content and total soluble solids were inversely. What Your Face Vlogs About: Expressions of Emotion and Big-Five Traits Impressions in YouTube

Social video sites where people share their opinions and feelings are increasing in popularity. The face is known to reveal important aspects of human psychological traits, so the understanding of how facial expressions relate to personal constructs is a relevant problem in social media. We present a study of the connections between automatically extracted facial expressions of emotion and impressions of Big-Five personality traits in YouTube vlogs (i.e., video blogs). We use the Computer Expression Recognition Toolbox (CERT) system to characterize users of conversational vlogs. From CERT temporal signals corresponding to instantaneously recognized facial expression categories, we propose and derive four sets of behavioral cues that characterize face statistics and dynamics in a compact way. The cue sets are first used in a correlation analysis to assess the relevance of each facial expression of emotion with respect to Big-Five impressions obtained from crowd-observers watching vlogs, and also as features for automatic personality impression prediction. Using a dataset of 281 vloggers, the study shows that while multiple facial expression cues have significant correlation with several of the Big-Five traits, they are only able to significantly predict Extraversion impressions with moderate values of R-square
