    International audienceA series of new dispiro[fluorene-9â€Č,6,9â€Čâ€Č,12-indeno[1,2b]fluorenes] (DSFIFs) that combine indenofluorene (IF) and spirobifluorene (SBF) architectural specificities have been prepared. Their anodic oxidations lead to the formation of nonsoluble transparent polymers. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of these new molecules have been evaluated for further blue OLED applications. Poly-2,7-(9,9-dialkyl)fluorenes (PFs) and copolymers are among the most promising blue light emitting materials despite the problem of their long-term color stability

    International audienceLes solutions existantes de partage de donnĂ©es (mĂ©dicales, sociales, administratives, commerciales, professionnelles, etc.) sont classiquement basĂ©es sur une approche serveur. L'approche serveur apporte en effet des propriĂ©tĂ©s essentielles telles que : complĂ©tude (c.Ă .d, l'information est complĂšte et Ă  jour), disponibilitĂ© (l'information est accessible 7j/7 et 24h/24 via l'Internet), usage (l'information est organisĂ©e, facilement interrogeable et exploitable), cohĂ©rence (respect des contraintes d'intĂ©gritĂ©, atomicitĂ© des mises Ă  jour, isolation des traitements concurrents), durabilitĂ© (tolĂ©rance aux pannes) et sĂ©curitĂ© (protection vis-Ă -vis des accĂšs illĂ©gitimes). Les solutions serveur souffrent cependant de deux carences. La premiĂšre tient Ă  l'impossibilitĂ© d'accĂ©der aux donnĂ©es sans une connexion fiable, sĂ©curisĂ©e, permanente et rapide au serveur, un ensemble de conditions difficile Ă  rĂ©unir dans tous les environnements. La seconde rĂ©side dans la dĂ©fiance des utilisateurs envers une gestion centralisĂ©e de leurs donnĂ©es personnelles. Cette dĂ©fiance s'explique tout autant par l'absence de garantie de sĂ©curitĂ© dĂšs lors que les donnĂ©es quittent la zone sĂ©curisĂ©e du serveur que par une perte de contrĂŽle de l'utilisateur sur la façon dont ses donnĂ©es sont partagĂ©es et exploitĂ©es par diffĂ©rents acteurs. Ce document dĂ©crit la conception d'une nouvelle forme de dossier personnel ubiquitaire et sĂ©curisĂ© et son expĂ©rimentation dans un contexte d'Ă©change de donnĂ©es mĂ©dico-sociales1. L'objectif est de palier les carences prĂ©citĂ©es, non pas en se substituant Ă  l'approche centralisĂ©e classique, mais plutĂŽt en la complĂ©tant de maniĂšre appropriĂ©e. L'approche proposĂ©e s'articule autour d'un nouveau composant matĂ©riel appelĂ© ici SPT (Secure Portable Token), qui associe la sĂ©curitĂ© intrinsĂšque d'une carte Ă  puce Ă  la capacitĂ© de stockage d'une clĂ© USB (Ă  terme plusieurs Giga-octets) et Ă  l'universalitĂ© du protocole USB (lecture Ă  partir de tout terminal Ă©quipĂ© d'un port USB : station de travail, PC portable, assistant personnel, tĂ©lĂ©phone cellulaire, etc.). Notamment, un SPT peut hĂ©berger un rĂ©plica de tout ou partie d'un dossier de donnĂ©es personnelles gĂ©rĂ© par le serveur pour permettre des traitements dĂ©connectĂ©s. Par ailleurs, les capacitĂ©s sĂ©curitaires du SPT peuvent ĂȘtre exploitĂ©es pour mettre en oeuvre de nouveaux schĂ©mas de partage des donnĂ©es, fortement sĂ©curisĂ©s et directement contrĂŽlables par l'utilisateur

    A Tamper-Resistant and Portable Healthcare Folder

    Electronic health record (EHR) projects have been launched in most developed countries to increase the quality of healthcare while decreasing its cost. The benefits provided by centralizing the healthcare information in database systems are unquestionable in terms of information quality, availability, and protection against failure. Yet, patients are reluctant to give to a distant server the control over highly sensitive data (e.g., data revealing a severe or shameful disease). This paper capitalizes on a new hardware portable device, associating the security of a smart card to the storage capacity of a USB key, to give back to the patient the control over his medical data. This paper shows how this device can complement a traditional EHR server to (1) protect and share highly sensitive data among trusted parties and (2) provide a seamless access to the data even in disconnected mode. The proposed architecture is experimented in the context of a medicosocial network providing medical care and social services at home for elderly people

    A series of new dispiro[fluorene-9',6,9'',12-indeno[1,2b]fluorenes] (DSF-IFs) has been synthesised. These new building blocks for blue-light-emitting devices and electroactive polymers combine indenofluorene (IF) and spirobifluorene (SBF) properties. We report here our synthetic investigations towards these new structures and their thermal, structural, photophysical and electrochemical properties. These properties have been compared to those of IF and SBF. We also report the anodic oxidation of DSF-IFs that leads to the formation of non-soluble transparent three-dimensional polymers. The structural and electrochemical behaviour of these polymers has been studied. The first application of these building blocks as new blue-light-emitting materials in organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) is also reported
