The article analyses the notion of fictitious capital in Marx, and the idea of autonomy of circulation in relation to production. It explores, after this theoretical analysis, the evolution of financialization of the economies as development of fictitious capital and its relation with the current crisis. O artigo discute a crise atual, comparando concepções marxista e pós-keynesiana. A primeira seção examina as razões teóricas para a inerência das crises no capitalismo conforme as duas visões. A segunda mostra como e por que o neoliberalismo agravou a crise, ainda que inerente ao capitalismo. A terceira examina criticamente os limites das políticas atuais de enfrentamento da crise.The article discusses the current crisis, comparing Marxian and Post-Keynesian views. A endogeneidade pós-keynesiana da moeda: traços ortodoxos e heterodoxos

Este trabalho compara duas abordagens pós-keynesianas da endogeneidade da moeda - a horizontalista e a estruturalista - apontando razões para a superioridade analítica desta última. Coma conclusdo, destacam-se algumas insuficiencias da abordagem estruturalista, propondo uma agenda de pesquisa baseada no nogdomarxisfa de moeda coma reiagdo social, para supera-las.  This paper compares two Post-Keynesian approaches on the endogeneity of money - the horizontalist and the structuralist - making the case for the analitical superiority of the latter. The conclusion points out some problems of the structuralist approach and suggests a new agenda of research based on the Marxian notion of money as a social relatio

Este artigo examina o desenvolvimentismo, explicando por que certas proposições pós-keynesianos devem ser aceitas a partir de uma perspectiva marxista, e o que deve ser modificado dentro da antiga abordagem, a fim de cumprir um papel transformador na sociedade. Também contrasta criticamente os pontos de vista marxista e pós-keynesianos dos papeis do Estado e do mercado, a fim de justificar políticas alternativas para transformar sociedades capitalistas.This article examines developmentalism, explaining why certain post-Keynesian propositions should be accepted from a Marxist perspective, and what should be modified within the former approach in order to fulfill a transformative role in society. The identification of the main features of Keynes's and Marx's monetary views is the purpose of this paper. A comparison of the keynesian notion of liquidity preference with the marxian view of absolute preference for money in moments of crisis is presented. The essential differences between the two views lies in their conceptions about money and interest rate and on the different ways of relating the real and monetary sides of the economy.A identificação dos traços característicos dos pensamentos monetários de Keynes e Marx é o objetivo maior deste trabalho, que compara a noção keynesiana de preferência pela liquidez com a ideia de preferência absoluta pela moeda da qual fala Marx quando trata das crises. This paper emphasises the analytical importance of money in Marx's and Keynes' heterodox approaches and discusses the possibility of complementarity between these two views. It defines heterodoxy and how money is interpreted by this stream of economic theory. It also points out the social character of money in Marx's view and the notion of monetary production economy in Keynes. It demonstrates the analytical relevance of money in both views.O trabalho procura destacar a importância analítica da moeda nos pensamentos heterodoxos de Marx e de Keynes, discutindo a possibilidade de complementaridade entre as duas visões. Para tanto, inicia definindo heterodoxia e destacando como a moeda é encarada pelo pensamento heterodoxo. Em seguida, salienta aspectos da visão de moeda como relação social em Marx e da visão de economia monetária da produção em Keynes, que permitem perceber a importância analítica que a moeda tem para as duas concepções. Finalmente, levanta diferenças de ordem teórica e discute a possibilidade de complementaridade entre as duas visões
