Este artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar el fuerte impacto que tienen los indicadores de control de inventarios en la cadena de suministro. La investigación se centró en los principales indicadores de: rotación, exactitud y duración, cuyo papel en el momento de tomar decisiones estratégicas es fundamental. Además de tomar un modelo de inventarios que se que se ajuste a las necesidades de la organización, este registro permite planear y administrar los materiales que realmente se van a necesitar teniendo en cuenta los resultados.This article aims to show the strong impact indicators inventory control in supply chain. The research focused on the main indicators: turnover, accuracy and durability, whose role at the time of making strategic decisions is fundamental. Stochasticity and Non-locality of Time

We present simple classical dynamical models to illustrate the idea of introducing a stochasticity with non-locality into the time variable. For stochasticity in time, these models include noise in the time variable but not in the "space" variable, which is opposite to the normal description of stochastic dynamics. Similarly with respect to non-locality, we discuss delayed and predictive dynamics which involve two points separated on the time axis. With certain combinations of fluctuations and non-locality in time, we observe a ``resonance'' effect. This is an effect similar to stochastic resonance, which has been discussed within the normal context of stochastic dynamics, but with different mechanisms. We discuss how these models may be developed to fit a broader context of generalized dynamical systems where fluctuations and non-locality are present in both space and time.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figures, Accepted and to appear in Physica A. Actividades artísticas como mecanismo escolar para reducir el estrés: caso de estudio la filigrana

La etapa escolarizada resulta ser un proceso complejo en la vida de los estudiantes, pues no solo tienen la obligación de dedicar gran parte de su tiempo a cumplir con sus tareas, sino que mantienen obligaciones fuera del ámbito escolar; entre ellos: actividades del área familiar y dificultades provenientes del área de salud, los mismos son generadores de estrés en el alumnado, afectan su vida, tanto física como mental; dentro y fuera de las aulas. En virtud de ello, el estrés, es un problema que debe ser tomado en cuenta en la vida estudiantil, ya que refleja directamente en el rendimiento académico de los niños, un claro ejemplo es su: comportamiento, desinterés, distracción, desmotivación, entre otros; para mejorar esto, se deben aplicar herramientas necesarias para aprender a manejarlo. De ahí, que se han venido utilizando las artes como mecanismos para afrontar el estrés. Es a través de las artes plásticas específicamente la filigrana, técnica que consigue resultados artísticos a partir de manipular y enrollar papel, que se propone bajar los niveles de estrés en los estudiantes y conseguir un bienestar físico y mental. El uso de la filigrana ayuda a reducir los cuadros de estrés en el estudiantado, creando un ambiente amigable donde pueden expresar sus emociones, además de la satisfacción por el logro artístico, por tanto, puede ser usado como una estrategia para combatir el estrés en los estudiantes y evitar que recaiga en problemas más graves. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que es adecuado y posible disminuir el estrés de los niños con la aplicación de la filigrana.The school stage turns out to be a complex process in the life of students since they not only have the obligation to devote much of their time to fulfill their homework but also have obligations outside the school environment; among them: family activities and difficulties from the health area, which are generators of stress in students, affecting their life, both physical and mental, inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, stress is a problem that must be taken into account in student life, as it directly reflects on the academic performance of children, a clear example is their behaviour, disinterest, distraction, and lack of motivation, among others; to improve this, the necessary tools must be applied to learn how to manage it. Hence, the arts have been used as mechanisms to cope with stress. It is through the plastic arts, specifically filigree, a technique that achieves artistic results from manipulating and rolling paper, which aims to lower stress levels in students and achieve physical and mental wellbeing. The use of lattice helps to reduce stress in students, creating a friendly environment where they can express their emotions, in addition to the satisfaction of artistic achievement, therefore, it can be used as a strategy to combat stress in students and prevent them from relapsing into more serious problems. Reconocimiento automático de la placa de un vehículo de Ecuador

En el presente proyecto se desarrolla un sistema que tiene como objetivo el reconocimiento de placas vehículos de Ecuador, usando técnicas de visión por computador. Como parte del pre-procesamiento de las imágenes se ha realizado redimensionamiento y binarización sobre las imágenes originales. Para la segmentación de la imagen se utilizó, detección de bordes, componentes conectados y un algoritmo preliminar para la identificar la ubicación de las letras y los números de la placa. El reconocimiento automático se realiza mediante dos redes neuronales sobre las secciones consideradas como “caracteres”, teniendo en cuenta las particularidades de las placas ecuatorianas. Los errores obtenidos bordean el 3%.This project, a system is developed that aims to recognize vehicle license plates in Ecuador, using computer vision techniques. Neural control on multiple time scales: Insights from human stick balancing

The time-delayed feedback control mechanisms of the nervous system are continuously subjected to the effects of uncontrolled random perturbations (herein referred to as noise). In this setting the statistical properties of the fluctuations in the controlled variable(s) can provide non-invasive insights into the nature of the underlying control mechanisms. We illustrate this concept through a study of stick balancing at the fingertip using high speed motion capture techniques. Experimental observations together with numerical studies of a stochastic delay differential equation demonstrate that on time scales short compared to the neural time delay (“fast control”), parametric noise provides a non-predictive mechanism that transiently stabilizes the upright position of the balanced stick. Moreover, numerical simulations of a delayed random walker with a repulsive origin indicate that even an unstable fixed point can be transiently stabilized by the interplay between noise and time delay. In contrast, on time scales comparable to the neural time delay (“slow control”), feedback and feedforward control mechanisms become more important. The relative contribution of the fast and slow control mechanisms to stick balancing is dynamic and, for example, depends on the context in which stick balancing is performed and the expertise of the balancer

Improving Knowledge Acquisition in Collaborative Knowledge Construction Tool with Virtual Catalyst

Noctua is a web tool to assist in Knowledge Acquisition and Collaborative Knowledge Construction processes. Noctua has an innovation: a Virtual Catalyst designed to facilitate the task of eliciting and validating knowledge. The Virtual Catalyst queries participants, proposing new knowledge, seeking confirmation to the knowledge already elicited, and showing conflicting opinions. The Virtual Catalyst takes into account participants' profiles in order to automatically ask them questions related to each one's field of knowledge or interest. This paper presents Noctua and its Virtual Catalyst. The tool was submitted to experimentation and the analysis of the results showed that the primary goal of increasing the rate of knowledge construction was achieved (up to 144 % in the rate of knowledge creation), and also showed some unexpected beneficial outcomes

La seguridad ciudadana se posiciona como uno de los principales desafíos de la post pandemia, a fin de garantizar la reactivación económica y la implementación de políticas públicas necesarias en salud, educación y otras más urgentes para la ciudadanía. Esta situación de seguridad objetiva y subjetiva, debe ser producto de la acción integral del Estado, entidades privadas y la comunidad en general. Este trabajo pretende resaltar la importancia que tiene la participación de la comunidad en la seguridad ciudadana, en ese sentido, propone la capacitación del personal policial que trabaja en las comisarías de Lima Metropolitana, en la implementación de Programas Preventivos, mediante el aplicativo POLICIA 24/7, como medio para mejorar la articulación entre la PNP y la comunidad organizada, a fin de coproducir las condiciones que permitan una convivencia pacífica, libre de riesgos y amenazas que atenten contra la vida, integridad o patrimonio del ciudadano.Citizen security is positioned as one of the main challenges of the post pandemic, in order to guarantee economic reactivation, and the implementation of necessary public policies in health, education and other more urgent for citizens.
