The provision of freight infrastructure linking the hinterland to the port requires agreement between actors. However, in reality there is a policy conflict in the development of a regional freight infrastructure, such as in the case of the Aloha Perak Toll Road construction in Surabaya. This study aims to discuss actor relationship in the freight transport infrastructure development strategy to support export activities in Tanjung Perak Port of Surabaya, using Dynamic Actor Network Analysis. It is found that there is an action conflict in achieving smooth flow of goods coming from the hinterland to the port, particularly between the city of Surabaya Planning Board and the East Java Province Planning Board. The conflict can be minimized by the existence of jujitsu negotiation and BATNA, because the Surabaya City Government, as the owner of the land, has greater power than the Provincial Government

Prospek Akupunktur Dalam Pengobatan Kanker Melalui Peningkatan Proliferasi Dan Sitotoksisitas Sel Natural Killer

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of degenerative diseases with high burden due to its impact on mortality and disability. There is yet information on the prevalence of DM related disability in Indonesian community. Analysis was performed to depict disability among “healthy\u27 and DM in population. The sample was derived from Riskesdas 2013 comprising 430,304 respondents aged 35 or higher. The results showed that DM prevalence was 3.6%. Females who lived in urban had higher prevalence. The prevalence of disability among the “healthy” was 13.8% while among DM was 44.1%. DM related disability started to rise among those aged 55 or higher. The 75 or higher age group had the highest prevalence (76.2%). Cognitive and mobility limitation were the highest disability among the diabetic. Those with DM had 4,89 times (95% CI 4,74 – 5,07) higher risk of disability compared with the ‘healthy group\u27. Meanwhile respondents with DM and stroke had the highest disability prevalence compared with other groups. The increasing trend of DM prevalence in Indonesia will be accompanied by disabilities. This will become burden for the sufferers, their family and society. Therefore it is necessary to strengthen DM prevention, promotion program, and improve DM related disability management

Manual Acupuncture Using the Wide Rotation Method in Treating Adhesive Capsulitis

Adhesive capsulitis (AC), is one of the disorders commonly encountered in clinical practice which caused great disability in performing daily activities. The cause of AC is unknown, but its pathogenesis involves shoulder joint capsule synovial tissue inflammation that produces pain and the formation of fibrotic tissue. The forming of fibrotic tissue causes the shrinkage of joint space and limitation in the shoulder range of motion (ROM). Many modalities of treatment had been used to treat AC, but there has been no consensus regarding the best treatment. Acupuncture had been used in the treatment of AC and showed good results, especially in reducing pain and improving ROM. This paper showcased the effects of manual acupuncture using the wide rotation stimulation method, a rarely used technique that has never been published before, in the treatment of AC. In this case report, the wide rotation stimulation method showed great results in reducing pain and improving ROM

Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) metabolites are organic acids, phosphomonoesterase enzyme (alkaline phosphatase) and antibiotic, which is able to dissolve insoluble phosphate. Phosphate solubilizing bacteria used in this study was expected to suppress Rhizoctonia solani attacks. This experiment was aimed at (1)  identifiying and quantifying  PSB metabolites, and (2) examining their capability as biocontrol agent for Rhizoctonia solani in vitro and hydroponics soybean. This study was conducted in three stages. The first stage of this study was culturing two PSB isolates (Pseudomonas putida 27.4B and Pseudomonas diminuta) in the Pikovskaya medium to analyze their metabolites. The second and third stage of this study was testing the antagonist of two bacteria to suppressed R. solani activity, which was conducted in vitro, and in hydroponics medium soybean as indicator plant. The results showed that P. putida 27.4B and P. diminuta produced organic acids i.e.: citrate, formic, succinic, acetic, propionate, butyrate, and oxalate. The totals of organic acids from each bacterium were 70,3 mg.kg-1 and 61,9 mg.kg-1. Production of alkaline phosphatase enzyme in Pikovskaya medium of P. Putida27.4B was 11,71 μg pNP .mL-1.h-1 and P. diminuta was 24,04  μg pNP.mL-1.h-1. Concentration of this enzyme in soil medium was higher than that in Pikovskaya medium with 26,27 μg pNP.g-1.h-1 and 39,03 μg pNP.g-1.h-1 respectively. This study also showed that total concentration of antibiotics (tetracycline, oxitetracycline and penicillin) produced by the PSB, were 3,2 μg.mL-1 (P. putida 27.4B) and 10,96 μg.m1-1 (P. diminuta), respectively. The results from second stage of this study showed that by using in vitro, the reduced growth of  R. solani was observed 58,35% with P. putida 27.4B and 41,96% with P. diminuta. In addition, inoculations of PSB in hydroponics medium reduced the fungal pathogenesis from 10,71% to 21,42% of pre and post emergence damping-off. Visually, the symptom of pathogen attack appeared within the period of  2 untill 14 days after infection
