    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi media sosial terhadap loyalitas merek dengan kepercayaan merek dan ekuitas merek sebagai variabel pemediasi. Komunikasi media sosial dapat dijelaskan melalui 2 variabel yaitu firm created social media communication (FCSMC) dan user generated social media communication (UGSMC). Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel valid berjumlah 188 responden. Responden tersebut dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yaitu mahasiswa Yogyakarta yang pernah melakukan pembelian di Bittersweet by Najla. Stuctural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4) dipilih sebagai metode serta alat analisis untuk mengevaluasi hasil penelitian. Hasil uji hipotesis pertama menunjukkan bahwa FCSMC terbukti memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap loyalitas merek, kepercayaan merek, dan ekuitas merek, sedangkan UGSMC hanya memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kepercayaan merek dan ekuitas merek. Selanjutnya, kepercayaan merek terbukti memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap loyalitas merek dan ekuitas merek. Terakhir, Ekuitas merek berhasil memediasi pengaruh FCSMC dan UGSMC terhadap loyalitas merek, sedangkan kepercayaan merek hanya berhasil memediasi pengaruh FCSMC terhadap loyalitas merek

    Watching the Watchdogs: Using Transparency Cues to Help News Audiences Assess Information Quality

    The myriad of information sources available online can make it hard for the average reader to know whether a piece of content is credible or not. This research aims to understand if the public’s assessment of the credibility of information could be more accurate with the help of transparency features that act as heuristic cues under the elaboration likelihood model and the heuristic-systematic model, and if the cues increase cognitive absorption. Two between-subjects studies were performed, one with a young demographic (N = 68) and another with a representative sample of the adult population (N = 325). The stimuli contained information boxes designed to indicate that the story was not written in a traditional journalistic style (message cues) and missing background information on the author (source cues). Results show significant effects of the cues on credibility assessment and cognitive absorption

    Customer Perception of Bandung City Societyon E-Money Usage for the Highway Service Payment

    E-commerce has been used in many business transactions because of its practicality and easiness for the users. In addition, it also provides easiness in control. The use of electronic money (e-money) as a non-cash payment alternative has a huge potential in decreasing the use of cash money. E-money provides faster and more comfortable transactions compared to the cash money, especially for the small-amount transactions. With e-money, every transaction is simpler, cheaper, and easier both for the buyers and sellers. One of the government interventions has recently been that every highway transaction can only be paid using e-money. This policy has resulted in a various response from the consumers or society at large. This research is aimed at exploring the perception of the consumers or society in Bandung on e-money policy for highway service payment. The method used in this research is a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are literature study and questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who ever used e-money in their transaction. The results of this research showed that the implementation of e-money is already good. But, there are some constraints in the aspect of service and technology. Those things are based on the measurement using the basic model of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

    Associations of the plasma lipidome with mortality in the acute respiratory distress syndrome: a longitudinal cohort study

    Abstract Background It is unknown if the plasma lipidome is a useful tool for improving our understanding of the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Therefore, we measured the plasma lipidome of individuals with ARDS at two time-points to determine if changes in the plasma lipidome distinguished survivors from non-survivors. We hypothesized that both the absolute concentration and change in concentration over time of plasma lipids are associated with 28-day mortality in this population. Methods Samples for this longitudinal observational cohort study were collected at multiple tertiary-care academic medical centers as part of a previous multicenter clinical trial. A mass spectrometry shot-gun lipidomic assay was used to quantify the lipidome in plasma samples from 30 individuals. Samples from two different days were analyzed for each subject. After removing lipids with a coefficient of variation > 30%, differences between cohorts were identified using repeated measures analysis of variance. The false discovery rate was used to adjust for multiple comparisons. Relationships between significant compounds were explored using hierarchical clustering of the Pearson correlation coefficients and the magnitude of these relationships was described using receiver operating characteristic curves. Results The mass spectrometry assay reliably measured 359 lipids. After adjusting for multiple comparisons, 90 compounds differed between survivors and non-survivors. Survivors had higher levels for each of these lipids except for five membrane lipids. Glycerolipids, particularly those containing polyunsaturated fatty acid side-chains, represented many of the lipids with higher concentrations in survivors. The change in lipid concentration over time did not differ between survivors and non-survivors. Conclusions The concentration of multiple plasma lipids is associated with mortality in this group of critically ill patients with ARDS. Absolute lipid levels provided more information than the change in concentration over time.     Hourly global horizontal irradiance over West Africa: A case study of one-year satellite- and reanalysis-derived estimates vs. in situ measurements

    Estimates of global horizontal irradiance (GHI) from reanalysis and satellite-based data are the most important information for the design and monitoring of PV systems in Africa, but their quality is unknown due to the lack of in situ measurements. In this study, we evaluate the performance of hourly GHI from state-of-the-art reanalysis and satellite-based products (ERA5, MERRA-2, CAMS, and SARAH-2) with 37 quality-controlled in situ measurements from novel meteorological networks established in Burkina Faso and Ghana under different weather conditions for the year 2020. The effects of clouds and aerosols are also considered in the analysis by using common performance measures for the main quality attributes and a new overall performance value for the joint assessment. The results show that satellite data performs better than reanalysis data under different atmospheric conditions. Nevertheless, both data sources exhibit significant bias of more than 150 W/m2 in terms of RMSE under cloudy skies compared to clear skies. The new measure of overall performance clearly shows that the hourly GHI derived from CAMS and SARAH-2 could serve as viable alternative data for assessing solar energy in the different climatic zones of West Africa

    De novo design of potent and resilient hACE2 decoys to neutralize SARS-CoV-2

    We developed a de novo protein design strategy to swiftly engineer decoys for neutralizing pathogens that exploit extracellular host proteins to infect the cell. Our pipeline allowed the design, validation, and optimization of de novo hACE2 decoys to neutralize SARS-CoV-2. The best decoy, CTC-445.2, binds with low nanomolar affinity and high specificity to the RBD of the spike protein. Cryo-EM shows that the design is accurate and can simultaneously bind to all three RBDs of a single spike protein. Because the decoy replicates the spike protein target interface in hACE2, it is intrinsically resilient to viral mutational escape. A bivalent decoy, CTC-445.2d, shows ~10-fold improvement in binding. CTC-445.2d potently neutralizes SARS-CoV-2 infection of cells in vitro and a single intranasal prophylactic dose of decoy protected Syrian hamsters from a subsequent lethal SARS-CoV-2 challenge

    Application of a targeted-enrichment methodology for full-genome sequencing of Dengue 1-4, Chikungunya and Zika viruses directly from patient samples.

    The frequency of epidemics caused by Dengue viruses 1-4, Zika virus and Chikungunya viruses have been on an upward trend in recent years driven primarily by uncontrolled urbanization, mobility of human populations and geographical spread of their shared vectors, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Infections by these viruses present with similar clinical manifestations making them challenging to diagnose; this is especially difficult in regions of the world hyperendemic for these viruses. In this study, we present a targeted-enrichment methodology to simultaneously sequence the complete viral genomes for each of these viruses directly from clinical samples. Additionally, we have also developed a customized computational tool (BaitMaker) to design these enrichment baits. This methodology is robust in its ability to capture diverse sequences and is amenable to large-scale epidemiological studies. We have applied this methodology to two large cohorts: a febrile study based in Colombo, Sri Lanka taken during the 2009-2015 dengue epidemic (n = 170) and another taken during the 2016 outbreak of Zika virus in Singapore (n = 162). Results from these studies indicate that we were able to cover an average of 97.04% ± 0.67% of the full viral genome from samples in these cohorts. We also show detection of one DENV3/ZIKV co-infected patient where we recovered full genomes for both viruses

    The Second Data Release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey

    The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) has validated and made publicly available its Second Data Release. This data release consists of 3324 deg2 of five-band (ugriz) imaging data with photometry for over 88 million unique objects, 367,360 spectra of galaxies, quasars, stars, and calibrating blank sky patches selected over 2627 deg2 of this area, and tables of measured parameters from these data. The imaging data reach a depth of r ≈ 22.2 (95% completeness limit for point sources) and are photometrically and astrometrically calibrated to 2% rms and 100 mas rms per coordinate, respectively. The imaging data have all been processed through a new version of the SDSS imaging pipeline, in which the most important improvement since the last data release is fixing an error in the model fits to each object. The result is that model magnitudes are now a good proxy for point-spread function magnitudes for point sources, and Petrosian magnitudes for extended sources. The spectroscopy extends from 3800 to 9200 Å at a resolution of 2000. The spectroscopic software now repairs a systematic error in the radial velocities of certain types of stars and has substantially improved spectrophotometry. All data included in the SDSS Early Data Release and First Data Release are reprocessed with the improved pipelines and included in the Second Data Release.
