    Literasi Pembelajaran Astronomi Berbasis Integrasi Sains, Teknologi dan Religi

    Literasi pembelajaran astronomi baik dikalangan siswa maupun mahasiswa calon guru mengalami dikotomi permasalahan pokok yakni persepsio sains astronomi sebagai sains, sains Astronomi sebagai mata pelajaran, dan sains astronomi sebagai sains lomba. Sains astronomi yang berbasis Sains, Teknologi dan Religi diharapkan mampu mengurangi permasalahan yang ada dalam dunia sains Astronomi. Pembelajaran sains Astronomi yang selama ini diajarkan dalam ruang kelas dan laboratorium seolah terpisah dari kehidupan sehari-hari dan jauh dari nilai teknologi dan religi. Metode pembelajaran sains Astronomi yang ideal hendaknya terintegrasikan antara sains (terkait dengan mekanika benda langit), teknologi (terkait dengan software pendukung astronomi:Moon Phase,Stellarium, Irris, dsb) dan yang terakhir memberikan pendidikan karakter religi pada setiap content sains Astronomi. Artikel ini merupakan studi deskriptif studi pembelajaran sains Astronomi dan memberikan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut dengan metode perkuliahan sains Astronomi terintegrasi sebagai sains, teknologi dan religi untuk membekali siswa maupun mahasiswa calon pendidik

    Aplikasi Carbon Nano Fiber Terintegrasi Dengan Karbon Aktif Serabut Kelapa Untuk Pengolahan Limbah Laundry

    The study effect of temperature on the morphology of carbon nanotube (CNF) based coconut husk has been done. CNF is one of the nanotechnology products that can be applied to reduce the concentration of the especially Pb, Cd, Ni. Thepurpose of this study are temperature effect on CNF and determine the potential uses treatment of CNF in the laundry waste. The Growth of CNF used the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method with a temperature variation of 6000 C,7000 C, and 8000 C. CNF synthesis involves reacting activated carbon from coconut shell, ferrocene (Fe(C5H5)2) as a catalyst, benzene as the carbon source,and argon gas flowed. The Purification of CNF using nitric acid (HNO3) 65%. The result of Energy Dispersive Spestroscopy (EDS) characterization indicate that increasing temperatures indicate increasing carbon content. CNF as adsorbent deposited on the laundry waste. The water quality test of the laundry waste showed that the adsorption of CNF likely reduce Pb level at 67,4% at a temperature of 6000C and DO concentration increases . CNF T has no effect on the amount of PH and Cd, while BOD and COD consentration increases

    Design and Modeling of an Integrated Micro-Transformer in a Flyback Converter

    This paper presents the design and modeling of a square micro-transformer for its integration in a flyback converter. From the specifications of the switching power supply, we determined the geometric parameters of this micro-transformer. The π-electrical model of this micro-transformer highlights all parasitic effects generated by stacking of different material layers and permits to calculate the technological parameters by using the S-parameters. A good dimensioning of the geometrical parameters reduces efficiently the energy losses in the micro-transformer and permits to reach the desirable value of the converter output voltage. We have also simulated the electromagnetic effects with the help of the software FEMLAB3.1 in two cases. The first case, without ferromagnetic core, the second case with ferromagnetic core, in order to choose the micro-transformer that has better electromagnetic compatibility with the vicinity components. To validate dimensioning of the geometrical and technological parameters, we have simulated with the help of the software PSIM6.0, the equivalent electrical circuit of the converter containing the electrical circuit of the dimensioned planar micro-transformer

    Performance Variability Analysis of Photonic Circuits with Many Correlated Parameters

    We propose a method to analyze the performance variability caused by fabrication uncertainty in photonic circuits with a large number of correlated parameters. By combining a sparse polynomial chaos expansion model with dimensionality reduction in the form of Karhunen-Loève transform and principal component analysis, we demonstrate the stochastic analysis of the transfer function of cascaded Mach-Zehnder interferometers with up to 38 correlated uncertain parameters

    Pengaruh Model Poe Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Pada Materi Koloid

    The aims of this research were to determine: 1) the differences of learning outcomes between students who were taught using POE (predict-observe-explain) model and conventional learning colloidal subject, 2) the effect of POE (predict-observe-explain) model toward student learning outcomes colloidal subject. The from of research was a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Classes of XI MIA 3 as experiment and MIA 1 as control were selected by cluster random sampling technique. Achievement test and interview was used to collect data. According to data analysis, average score of experiment and control classes were 74.36 and 67.36 respectively. According to U-Mann Withney test, the value of student of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) was 0.023 which meant that there was a difference in learning outcome between the control class and experimental class colloidal subject. The result of effect size was 0.39 which meant POE (predict-observe-explain) model had of 18.79% influenced toward student learning outcomes improvement

    Pengaruh Pq4r Berbantuan Komik terhadap Minat Baca dan Hasil Belajar Minyak Bumi pada Siswa SMA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar dan minat baca serta besarnya pengaruh penggunaan metode PQ4R (Preview,Question,Read, Recite, Reflect dan Review) berbantuan komik terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak pada materi minyak bumi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X B sebagai kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpul data adalah tes hasil belajar dan angket minat baca. Berdasarkan hasil olahan data, rata-rata nilai skor posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 44,28 dan rata-rata nilai skor posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 56,06. Dengan menggunakan Uji T, diperoleh Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,029 < 0,05 (kurang dari 0,05) untuk tes hasil belajar dan diperoleh Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 (kurang dari 0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak, menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan minat baca siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada materi minyak bumi. Hasil dari perhitungan Effect Size (ES) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,57 yang menunjukkan penggunaan metode PQ4R memberikan pengaruh sebesar 21,57% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : PQ4R, minyak bumi, hasil belajar, minat baca Abstrack : This study aims to determine the difference of learning outcomes and reading interest and the effect of using PQ4R methods with media comics toward learning outcomes in ten grade of students SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak on petroleum materials. Research was used quasi-experimental with the study Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples of this research were students of ten grade A as experimental class and ten grade B as control class. Data collectors were the achievement test and questionnaire reading interest. Based on the results of data processing, the average score of posttest control class is 44.28, and the average score of posttest experimental classes, was namely 56.06. By using the T test, obtained Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.029 < 0,05 (less than 0.05) to test learning outcomes and obtained Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 (less than 0.05) as the result Ho refused, it shows there were differences in learning outcomes and students reading interest between the experimental class and control class on petroleum materials. The calculation result of Effect Size (ES) obtained a value was 0.57 that showed the using of PQ4R methods influenced by 21.57% toward increasing student learning outcomes

    Chemical Constituents and Antioxidant Activity of Teucrium barbeyanum Aschers

    The different extracts of the aerial parts of Teucrium barbeyanum Aschers. were investigated for the chemical constituents and antioxidant activities. The chemical investigation of the plant led to the isolation of eleven known compounds through column chromatography in which nine were flavonoids and the other two were simple phenolic compounds. The compounds were characterized using NMR techniques (1H, 13C, DEPT- 135 and 90, COSY, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY), UV spectroscopy and EI/ESI spectrometry. The isolated compounds were identified as 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,4�-tetramethoxyflavone (1), salvigenin (2), 5-hydroxy-6,7,3�,4�- tetramethoxyflavone (3), chrysosplenetin (4), cirsilineol (5), cirsimaritin (6), cirsiliol (7), apigenin (8) and luteolin (9), in addition to methyl caffeate (10) and 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (11). The antioxidant activity of the extracts was evaluated using 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2�-Azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6- sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) methods. Ethyl acetate and butanol extracts showed comparable antioxidant activity to known antioxidants; trolox and ascorbic acid and the highest total phenolic and flavonoid contents. The active components were extracted efficiently in 70% aqueous methanol after defatting procedure. This is the first time the aforementioned compounds are isolated from this plant, and there has been no previous report on the biological studies on this species
