    Study of Basilar Artery Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging Angiography

    Basilar artery variations were studied in fifty patients using Three Dimensional Time of Flight Magnetic Resonance Imaging Angiography.Two basilar arteries showed variations and others found to be normal. In one case,the basilar artery showed stenosis and another case showed bulbosity. With the literature analysis, it was concluded that Magnetic Resonance Imaging Angiography is the best tool to show the anastomotic variations of the arteries of the brain and the most powerful non-invasive method for a reliable judgement  for determining the degree of  stenosis or any other pathology of vertebral-basilar system  because it does not have the high morbidity associated with conventional intra-arterial angiography

    Improvement Strategy of Porong Kanal Irrigation Network Performance in Delta Brantas Irrigation Area with Swot Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats)

    Delta Brantas Irrigation Area with total covering irrigated area 21,984 Ha, located entirely in Sidoarjo. Irrigation system performance in Delta Brantas Irrigation Area especially in Porong Kanal Primary Network tended to decline. So improvement strategy required in order to provide better irrigation services that fit the needs of the farming community. This problem can be studied by analyzing the existing condition, determining priority handling factors and a strategy for improving the irrigation network performance. From research results indicated that the degradation of the irrigation system performance in Delta Brantas Irrigation Area from 2012 to 2014 amounted to 3.66%. The priority handling factors that influencing the performance of Delta Brantas irrigation network are the condition of regulator structures, conditions of complementary structures, sewer condition, the completeness of operation and maintenance equipment, total personnel of operation and maintenance, personnel assignment of the operation and maintenance, legal status GP3A/P3A, institutional conditions of P3A, and P3A actively in search of irrigation networks, and P3A contribution to repair the irrigation networks. From SWOT analysis resulted a strategy position used to improve the performance of Porong Kanal Irrigation Network Delta Brantas Irrigation Area is turn-around strategy which minimizing the weaknesses to take advantage of opportunities

    Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter melalui Budaya Sekolah di SD N Kotagede 3 YOGYAKARTA Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017

    This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through school culture in SD N Kotagede 3, Umbulharjo Yogyakarta. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Subjects of this study consisted of one principal, six teachers, two teachers extracurricular, three students of class IV, V and VI, and the school committee. Selection of research subjects have been with a certain consideration. The experiment was conducted in SD N Kotagede 3, Umbulharjo Yogyakarta. The technique of collecting data using interviews, documentation and observation moderate because the researchers only do some of the activities undertaken by the speaker. Data analysis techniques used during this study using an interactive model Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of character education through a school culture that is carried out in SD N Kotagede 3 includes intrakurikuler including 5S, MCC, breakfast, tadarus classical, gymnastics mass, flag ceremony, Thursday pahingan, warning big day, smutlis, waste sorting and go library. In addition intrakurikuler activities, the implementation of character education through school culture in SD N Kotagede 3, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta is also manifested in extracurricular activities, namely the scouts, TPA, ICT, dance, batik, marching band, gamelan, music, alteltik, karate and qiroah. Character values that are formed in the implementation of character education through school culture held in SD N Kotagede 3 covers religious, disciplined, responsible, independent, creative, environmental care, social care, honest, hard work, patriotism, and love to read. Inhibiting factors and support in implementing character education through school culture in SD N Kotagede 3, namely, teachers, students, parents and facilities can be a contributing factor as well as inhibiting the culture of the school, depending on how the responses and action given every component on any activities carried out
