    Import 04/07/2011Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dodatečným zateplením novostavby bytového domu. V první části bakalářské práce je řešen technologický postup zateplovacích prací na vybraný systém zateplení. V druhé části je posuzována zateplená obvodová stěna budovy z hlediska tepelně technického posouzení a je porovnána se skladbou nezateplené stěny budovy. V poslední části bakalářské práce jsou porovnány náklady na vytápění a vyhodnocení návratnosti zateplené stěny. K bakalářské práci je přiložena výkresová dokumentace, rozpočet stavby rozdělen po jednotlivých podlažích a rozpočet dodatečného zateplení objektu, harmonogram prací a potřebné tepelně technické výpočty. Hlavním přínosem této bakalářské práce bude zjištěni, zda se vyplatí investovat do zateplení členitých objektů.This thesis deals with the additional insulation of new building's apartment house. In the first part of this work I solved the technological process of insulation works on the selected insulation system. In the second part of this thesis I assessed the heated perimeter wall of the building in terms of heat-technical assessment and I compared this with the non-insulated wall structure of the building. In the last part of the thesis I compared the cost of heating and return of the insulated walls. The thesis is accompanied by drawings, construction budget breakdown by floors and Budget additional insulation of the building, work schedule and the necessary heat technical calculations.     Increasing part of the agricultural production is utilised in the production of energetic raw materials (in our conditions mainly biodiesel from rapeseed and bioethanol from cereals). Huge leftover is generated in the process, still keeping part of the feeding value, so it is possible to use this material for production of feeding mixtures. To validate its suitability and proper dosage, experiments on swine, poultry and broilers were carried out.Sve veći se dio poljoprivredne proizvodnje iskorištava u proizvodnji energetskih sirovina (u našim uvjetima uglavnom biodizel iz uljne repice i bioetinol iz žitarica). Ogromni ostaci nastaju u tom procesu koji su zadržali dio hranidbene vrijednosti pa ih je moguće iskoristiti za proizvodnju krmnih smjesa.     Small island economies : Caribbean versus Pacific

    After a review of the small island economy literature, this study compares the average performance of 16 Caribbean versus 15 mainly Pacific islands with three from the Indian Ocean. Mean difference analysis is employed across 22 socio-economic and demographic variables. Results confirm previous research. The Caribbean outperforms the Pacific with higher per capita GDP and life expectancy and lower infant mortality and fertility. Different migration experiences discriminate the more dynamic Caribbean characterized by heavy immigration from the relatively stagnant Pacific marked by chronic emigration. The three determinants offered to account for these differences involve significant Caribbean advantages: geographic proximity to the major global markets, early post-war development of international tourism and offshore banking, and a longer and more intense period of colonisation that early on established basic infrastructure and market institutions.peer-reviewe

    Erosion Wear of Axial Flow Impellersin a Solid-liquid Suspension

    A study was made of the erosion wear of the blades of pitched blade impellers in a suspension of waste gypsum from a thermal power station (vol. concentration CV=18.3 %, particle mean diameter d=0.1 mm, degree of hardness “2.5”) and silicious sand (CV=10 %, d=0.4 mm, degree of hardness “7.5”) in water under a turbulent flow regime of agitated charge when complete homogeneity of the suspension was achieved. Experiments were carried out on pilot plant mixing equipment made of stainless steel (diameter of cylindrical vessel T=390 mm, diameter of impeller D=100 mm, impeller off-bottom clearance h=100 mm) equipped with four wall radial baffles (width b=39 mm) and an impeller with four inclined plane blades (pitch angle α =20°, 30°, 45°, relative blade width W/D=0.2) made either of rolled brass (Brinell hardness 40–50 BH) or of structural steel (Brinell hardness 100–120 BH) always pumping the liquid downwards towards the flat vessel bottom. Two erosion process mechanisms appear, depending on the hardness of the solid particles in the suspension: while the particles of gypsum (lower hardness) generate a uniform sheet erosion over the whole surface of the impeller blade, the particles of silicious sand (higher hardness) generate wear of the leading edge of the impeller blades, together with a reduction of the surface of the worn blade. The hardness of the impeller blade also affects the rate of the erosion process: the higher the hardness of the impeller blade, the lower the wear rate of the blade. This study consists of a description of the kinetics of the erosion process of both mechanisms in dependence on the pitch angle of the tested impellers. While the wear of the leading edge of the blade exhibits a monotonous dependence on the pitch angle, the sheet erosion exhibits the maximum rate within the interval of the pitch angles tested α ϵ <20°; 45°>.However, generally the pitch angle α =45° seems to be the most convenient angle of blade inclination when both investigated mechanisms of the blade erosion process are considered at their minimum rate

Úroveň spokojenosti zde bude měřena prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření a na základě získaných informací budou sestaveny návrhy vhodných opatření, které by měly vést k jejímu zvýšení.This bachelor thesis deals with customer satisfaction analysis (users of biogas plants) of the company agriKomp Bohemia which provides construction and service of agricultural buildings. The level of the satisfaction will be measured here by a questionnaire survey. Then the proposals of appropriate measures based on the information obtained will be compiled. These measures should lead to customer satisfaction increase.

    Ecologically Sustainable Printing: Aspects of Printing Materials

    Development of non-wood fibers has been one of strategies to ensure a sustainable fiber supply, including plantation management, reforestation and recycling. Some of alternative fibers are algae that can be used as raw material for papermaking. The Shiro Alga Carta papers made from algae in combination with Forest Stewardship Council certified fibers (FSC - fibers) were used for this research. Three offset inks were used in printing: vegetable-based inks with different amount of renewable raw materials and mineral oil - based ink. Three series of prints were made: non-varnished, varnished with water-based dispersion, and varnished with UV cured varnish. The possibility of reusing fibers was determined by methods of re-pulping (loop I, loop II, loop III). The vegetable based ink toward improved structure give bather results in terms of brightness, ink content and dirt count and area compared with the mineral oil-based ink. Something lower brightness gain and ΔERIC is obtained with water-based dispersion overprint samples. The lowest results are obtained for samples overprinted with UV cured varnish. The results of the research contribute to the explanation of paper/ink/varnish interaction on the reuse of the fibers, which takes into the area of the ecological sustainable development
