    Beternak ayam Pelung tidak terlepas dari kontes ayam Pelung. Kontes merupakan salah satu cara untuk memajukan ayam Pelung di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui faktor internal, eksternal, dan tingkat motivasi peternak, kemudian menganalisis hubungan antara faktor internal dan faktor eksternal dengan tingkat motivasi peternak mengikuti kontes yang telah dilakukkan pada bulan Februari 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja karena Kabupaten Bandung merupakan salah satu Kabupaten yang memiliki populasi, peternak ayam Pelung terbanyak, dan telah memiliki banyak prestasi dalam kontes. Pengambilan responden menggunkan purposive sampling dengan banyaknya sampel berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis hubungan antara faktor internal dan faktor eksternal dengan tingkat motivasi mengikuti kontes menggunakan korelasi Rank Spearman (rs) dengan program SPSS versi 24 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi mengikuti kontes pada peternak penggemar ayam pelung di kabupaten Bandung termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (70%). Sementara, hasil uji korelasi Rank Spearman untuk hubungan antara faktor internal dengan motivasi peternak mengikuti kontes menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara faktor internal dengan motivasi dengan nilai rs sebesar 0,423 dan terdapat hubungan yang positif pula antara faktor eksternal dengan motivasi dengan nilai rs sebesar 0,406

    Electricity is one of the most pressing needs for human life. Electricity is required not only for lighting but also to carry out activities of daily life related to activities Social and economic community. The problems is currently a limited supply of electricity resulting in an energy crisis. Electrical power is not storable therefore it is a vital need to make a good electricity demand forecast. According to this, we conducted an analysis based on power load. Given a baseline to this research, we applied penalized splines (P-splines) which led to a powerful and applicable smoothing technique. In this paper, we revealed penalized spline degree 1 (linear) with 8 knots is the best model since it has the lowest GCV (Generelized Cross Validation). This model have become a compelling model to predict electric power load evidenced by of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE=0.013) less than 10%

    Nanostructured Systems Containing Rutin: In Vitro Antioxidant Activity and Photostability Studies

    The improvement of the rutin photostability and its prolonged in vitro antioxidant activity were studied by means of its association with nanostructured aqueous dispersions. Rutin-loaded nanocapsules and rutin-loaded nanoemulsion showed mean particle size of 124.30 ± 2.06 and 124.17 ± 1.79, respectively, polydispersity index below 0.20, negative zeta potential, and encapsulation efficiency close to 100%. The in vitro antioxidant activity was evaluated by the formation of free radical ·OH after the exposure of hydrogen peroxide to a UV irradiation system. Rutin-loaded nanostructures showed lower rutin decay rates [(6.1 ± 0.6) 10−3 and (5.1 ± 0.4) 10−3 for nanocapsules and nanoemulsion, respectively] compared to the ethanolic solution [(35.0 ± 3.7) 10−3 min−1] and exposed solution [(40.1 ± 1.7) 10−3 min−1] as well as compared to exposed nanostructured dispersions [(19.5 ± 0.5) 10−3 and (26.6 ± 2.6) 10−3, for nanocapsules and nanoemulsion, respectively]. The presence of the polymeric layer in nanocapsules was fundamental to obtain a prolonged antioxidant activity, even if the mathematical modeling of the in vitro release profiles showed high adsorption of rutin to the particle/droplet surface for both formulations.
