The Portuguese mold industry is one of the most important industries for the economical and social development of the central region. The Socem Group contributes for its value through the production and exportation of molds and services related. This report is based on an internship made at Socem ED, one of the firms of Socem Group. It attempts to fulfill a specific requirement of Socem; to potential their sales for the Turkish market. The aim is to: a) Understand the Turkish market: culturally, politically, socially, and economically; b) Research mold industry in Turkey, and understand the impact of the automotive and home appliances, and plastics industries in the Turkey economy; c) Make market segmentation and create a customer database; d) According to marketing strategy and segmentation, contact with the potential customers and try to do business with the molding, the automotive, home appliances and plastics companies in Turkey. It is worth to note that during the last 10 years Turkey’s mold industry has improving sharply. The current research provided a creation of a customer database that potential the commercial relationships between the two countries, i.e. Portugal e Turkey, specifically for the mold industry. Secondary data source from 2010 to 2016, to build up the database, was used

COMPLEXATION OF POLYETHYLENE-GLYCOL WITH THE SODIUM SALTS OF CITRIC AND SUCCINIC ACIDS IN THE AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS. STUDIES BY DYNAMIC LIGHT SCATTERING AND UV/VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETRY

Dynamic light scattering (DLS) method in combination with the UV/VIS spectrophotometry is used to study the interaction of polyethylene- glycols with a molecular weight  6000 ( PEG6000 ) with sodium salts of citric and succinic acids in aqueous solutions. The values of density, viscosity, refractive and diffusion indexes, the values of the hydrodynamic diameter, wavelength electronic absorption bands for PEG6000 aqueous solutions, their mixtures with succinic and citric acids are determined. It was shown that depending on the composition of the solutions the values of hydrodynamic diameter for aqueous solutions containing 1-5 wt.% PEG6000 and their mixtures with succinic and citric acids (~ 1 wt%) ranges from 3.6 to 5.2 nm. It is assumed that the formation of complexes with the sizes  that are within the above range is due to the features of interaction  and the structure of the complexes formed in solution

Adsorption of Polyethylene-Glycols by Nanosized Iron Oxides Particles in Iron Oxides/Polyethylene-Glycol/Water/ Dispersions

The successful application of dynamic light scattering and electron magnetic resonance spectroscopy technique to control the formation of nanosized particles of iron oxides  in iron oxides containing aqueous polyethylene-glycol  dispersions is shown. The formation of  the pegylated  iron oxides particles with  superparamagnetic properties in this system is established.Â

Point Contact Spectroscopy of Nb3Sn Crystals: Evidence of a CDW Gap Related to the Martensitic Transition

Two Single crystals of Nb3Sn presenting the martensitic anomaly at different temperature and shape, as observed with specific heat measurements, were used to study structural features in the electronic density of states with point contact spectroscopy. At high temperature below the martensitic anomaly, we observed different spectroscopic characteristics. One sample displaying a well marked specific heat peak, shows a clear defined structure in the differential conductance that evolves with temperature and may be associated with changes on the density of states due to the opening of a charge density wave gap. Those features are very depending on the crystallographics characteristics of the single crystal examined.Comment: 13 pages 6 figures. accepted in Solid State Communicatio

Modern Turkmenistan is mainly constituted by a desert landscape, yet despite its harsh climate, cultures have been able to construct networks of water channels since the Bronze Age. This has resulted in a man-made landscape that integrates towns and villages. Extensive surveys and recent archaeological excavations have highlighted that between 2400 and 2100 BC (Namazga V period), the region of the Murghab alluvial fan was characterised by the development of complex urban societies. However, starting from the Late Bronze Age, a new group of mobile pastoralists appeared in the Murghab region and settled along the edges of the sedentary sites. Although their presence is well-attested both by survey and excavation data, their degree of interaction with the sedentary farmers is still debated. In modern Turkmenistan, semi-mobile shepherds continue to drive their cattle across the Murghab, using mobile camps for different months. This paper presents the preliminary results of the excavation of the sedentary site of Togolok 1, as well as the first ethnographic study of the mobile communities of the Murghab region

States finance public expenditures with budget revenues. Tax revenues have a high share in budget revenues. Therefore, states are trying to determine the legal framework of tax matters. It is seen that the share of tax revenues in the budget revenues of Azerbaijan, whose tax-related laws are still new, appears to be small. For this reason, the importance attached to tax revenues, which have a small share in budget revenues, is increasing due to the decline in oil prices in Azerbaijan, whose economy is largely dependent on oil pricesIn this case, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency of the legal framework of the profit tax which is important in tax revenues in Azerbaijan and applied to the corporations, and of the simplified tax which is provided for the convenience of the taxpayer. It is seen that, when this analysis is done on the basis of the coporation tax applied in Turkey, which is older than the tax tradition of Azerbaijan, profit tax and simplified tax have similar and different sides with coporation tax. Another analysis shows that the tax revenues, which has importance of increased due to the decline in oil prices, is also affected by oil prices and thus Azerbaijan is heading to the non-oil sector

The dependences of the refractive indices of aqueous solutions of dextran (D), poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP), and D-PEG and D-PVP mixtures, on the polymer concentration has been investigated in order to study structural and conformational changes as a function of the increasing polymer concentration. It is shown that in contrast to solutions of single polymers, conformational changes are not observed in aqueous solutions of mixed polymers, even at high concentrations, and the phase separation which is observed is due to a change of structure or state of the water. We have determined the rates of the processes of the phase separation in these aqueous biphasic polymer systems. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
