The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between organizational learning and EFQM excellence model. In this survey, 300 faculty members in University of Tehran 2012-2013 academic year answered to two standard questionnaire of organizational learning that was compiled based on Gomez, Cespedes-Lorente, and Valle-Cabrer (2005) and standard questionnaire of EFQM excellence model (2010). Obtained results by Pearson's correlation coefficient showed the significant relationship between organizational learning and EFQM excellence model. Obtained Results from multi-correlation coefficient and step by step regression showed that the best predictor of EFQM excellence model is transfer and integration of knowledge, system thinking and openness and experimentation

Co-administration of GnRH agonists with vaginal progesterone compared to vaginal progesterone in luteal phase support of the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycle: An RCT

Background: Since progesterone alone does not seem to be enough for luteal phase support (LPS), especially in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles, so gonadotropinreleasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) is suggested as an adjuvant therapy in combination with progesterone for LPS. Objective: To evaluate the effects of the administration of GnRH agonists with vaginal progesterone compared to vaginal progesterone alone in luteal phase support of the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles. Materials and Methods: In this randomized controlled clinical trial, 240 infertile women who were candidates for FET were evaluated into two groups (n = 120/each). Group I received 400 mg vaginal progesterone twice a day from the time of transfer. The second group received vaginal progesterone and also 0.1 mg diphereline on days 0, 3, and 6 of FET for LPS. Finally, the clinical and ongoing pregnancy rates, and the implantation, and spontaneous abortion rates were compared in two groups. Results: Results showed that there was no significant difference between the mean age of women and the duration of infertility (p = 0.78, p = 0.58, respectively). There were no significant differences between groups in the terms of implantation and spontaneous abortion rates (p = 0.19, p = 0.31, respectively). However, in terms of clinical and ongoing pregnancy rates, the significant differences were seen between groups (p = 0.008 and p = 0.005, respectively). Conclusion: Co-administration of GnRH-a and vaginal progesterone in LPS may be superior to vaginal progesterone alone in women who underwent a frozen-selected embryo transfer cycle. Key words: Luteal phase, Fertilization in vitro, Embryo transfer

Bone mineral density is not related to angiographically diagnosed coronary artery disease

Based on data, there may exist an association between low bone mineral density (BMD) and atherosclerosis. Thisstudy aimed to investigate the association between BMD and coronary artery disease (CAD). In this study the possible association of BMD with CAD in 65 men with CAD and in 49 men with normal angiography as well as in 51 women with CAD and in 51 normal women was investigated. Both spinal and femoral BMD values for men were higher than those of women (P<0.05). Neither femoral nor spinal BMD values were different in patients with or without CAD. In addition, BMD values were not associated with the severity of CAD. Body massindex (BMI) was positively correlated with BMD both in men and women, whereas age and anti-diabetic treatment were linked with lower BMD in women. In conclusion, in this study CAD was not related to low BMD. However, BMI was an independent predictor of diminished BMD

One of the brilliant features of Sahifah Al-Sajjadiyyah is a link between this book and the holy Quran. The intention of this paper is depicting of familiarity and companionship of Imam Sajjad (AS) with holy Quran and the deep impact of speech of revelation in the first to the seventh prayer of Sahifah Al-Sajjadiyyah on him. This research aims to demonstrate one of interaction types of Shia narration treasures with the Quran through studying of adaptation typology and various functions of these types in the textual context of Sahifah Al-Sajjadiyyah. For this purpose, the literary element has been examined by a descriptive-analytical method. Derived Quranic extractions in the first to seventh prayer of Sahifah Al-Sajjadiyyah include: full, partial, variable, statements and analytical adaptations. The results showed that the most frequent extraction, variable adaptation and the most difficult type in terms of diagnosis, is inferential adaptation and the motivation of using these extractions is for argument, emphasis, interpretation, explanation, tagging, Jerry and matching, and sometimes have combinatory function

Terminal ileitis and cytotoxic lesion of corpus callosum as the presenting features of Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C): a case report

Abstract Background Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a post-viral inflammatory vasculopathy characterized by persistent fever, multiorgan dysfunction, significant laboratory markers of inflammation, lack of an alternative diagnosis, and prior SARS-CoV-2 infection or exposure in children and adolescents. The most common early symptoms include a prolonged fever, as well as dermatologic, mucocutaneous, and gastrointestinal symptoms such abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Case presentation We present a pediatric patient with multisystem inflammatory syndrome with the development of abdominal pain and seizure who was found to have a circumferential wall thickening of the terminal ileum and ileocecal junction in abdominal CT scan. The brain MRI of the patient showed cytotoxic lesions of the corpus callosum (CLOCC) which had hypersignal intensity with a few diffusion restrictions in the splenium of the corpus callosum. Conclusion This case is being reported to raise awareness of MIS-C presenting characteristics. Given the rising number of MIS-C patients and a lack of understanding regarding early diagnostic clinical characteristics and therapy, further research into clinical presentations, treatment, and outcomes is urgently needed
