Results from a Non-Perturbative Renormalization of Lattice Operators
We propose a general renormalization method, which avoids completely the use
of lattice perturbation theory. We present the results from its numerical

Non-perturbative renormalization in kaon decays
We discuss the application of the MPSTV non-perturbative method \cite{NPM} to
the operators relevant to kaon decays. This enables us to reappraise the
long-standing question of the rule, which involves
power-divergent subtractions that cannot be evaluated in perturbation theory.
We also study the mixing with dimension-six operators and discuss its

DEPENDENCE OF THE CURRENT RENORMALISATION CONSTANTS ON THE QUARK MASS
We study the behaviour of the vector and axial current renormalisation
constants and as a function of the quark mass, . We show that
sizeable and systematic effects are present in the
Wilson and Clover cases respectively. We find that the prescription of
Kronfeld, Lepage and Mackenzie for correcting these artefacts is not always

Non-Perturbative Renormalisation of the Lattice Four-Fermion Operator
We compute the renormalised four-fermion operator using a
non-perturbative method recently introduced for determining the renormalisation
constants of generic lattice composite operators. Because of the presence of
the Wilson term, mixes with operators of different
chiralities. A projection method to determine the mixing coefficients is
implemented. The numerical results for the renormalisation constants have been
obtained from a simulation performed using the SW-Clover quark action, on a
lattice, at . We show that the use of the constants
determined non-perturbatively improves the chiral behaviour of the lattice kaon

Non-Perturbative Renormalisation of Composite Operators
It is shown that the renormalisation constants of two quark operators can be
accurately determined (to a precision of a few per-cent using 18 gluon
configurations) using Chiral Ward identities. A method for computing
renormalisation constants of generic composite operators without the use of

Chiral behaviour of the lattice -parameter with the Wilson and Clover Actions at
We present results for the kaon -parameter from a sample of
configurations using the Wilson action and configurations using the
SW-Clover action, on a lattice at . We compare
results obtained by renormalizing the relevant operator with different
``boosted" values of the strong coupling constant . In the case of
the SW-Clover action, we also use the operator renormalized non-perturbatively.
In the Wilson case, we observe a strong dependence of on the prescription
adopted for , contrary to the results of the Clover case which are
almost unaffected by the choice of the coupling. We also find that the matrix
element of the operator renormalized non-perturbatively has a better chiral
behaviour. This gives us our best estimate of the renormalization group
