Impacto que genera en las y los educando el uso del Data show interactivo, como recurso didáctico en el desarrollo de habilidades en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la disciplina de química de la VI unidad del contenido “Los Alcanos” del 10mo grado “A” del Instituto Público Juan XXIII, en el II semestre del 2015, municipio de San Marcos, Carazo
Esta investigación, tuvo como propósito determinar la influencia de las estrategias metodológicas y del uso del data show interactivo como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza de los alcanos de la VI unidad de química en estudiantes del décimo grado “A” del Instituto Público “Juan XXIII” del municipio San Marcos, Carazo.
La investigación surge por la problemática que se observó en la clase de química, con estudiantes del décimo grado “A” quienes en el desarrollo del contenido los alcanos, se detectó:
1. Poco interés de aprendizaje en los estudiantes.
2. Falta de material didáctico en el desarrollo de la clase.
La investigación es de enfoque cualitativo, que se basó en recolección de datos sin medición numérica, es descriptiva y transversal, porque se realizó en un periodo de agosto a noviembre del 2015.
Se aplicaron instrumentos como: observación, entrevista, grupo focal y análisis documental; se elaboró tabla para el análisis de resultados en los estudios cualitativos.
Entre las conclusiones podemos señalar: Son pocas las estrategias de enseñanza aprendizaje que se están aplicando.
Las estrategias implementadas son tradicionales lo que no permite que los estudiantes sean los actores del proceso educativo, los materiales didácticos no juegan un papel fundamental ya que no se utilizan en el desarrollo del contenido los alcanos.
Se recomienda a las autoridades planificar capacitación sobre el uso del data show interactivo como herramienta didáctica en el proceso educativo, dar seguimiento y asesoría sobre las estrategias. Decolorization of synthetic textile effluents using methyltrioctylammonium-based DES
In light of the escalating environmental challenges posed by the huge generation of wastewater and residues from dyeing processes, addressing water scarcity concerns has become an urgent imperative. This study proposes a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution via liquid–liquid extraction to effectively eliminate dyes from industrial effluents, producing clean and reusable water resources. Methyltrioctylammonium (N1888) based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) show remarkable capabilities as extracting agents. Combined with octanoic and decanoic acids, the bromide and chloride ammonium salts were used to prepare four solvents. They were physically characterized and tested before a wide variety of colorants and synthetic effluents, including real auxiliar agents used in the textile industry. Extraction percentages across all experiments showed an average of 98.39%, reaching a maximum of 99.96% efficiency for the extraction of Reactive Black 5 from aqueous solution, which shows the potential of these solvents to mitigate the environmental impact of dyeing processes.Agencia Estatal de Investigación | Ref. Removal of Acid Blue 80 from aqueous solutions using chitosan-based beads modified with choline chloride: urea Deep Eutectic Solvent and FeO
An alternative chitosan-based adsorbent modified by impregnation with deep eutectic solvent (DES) choline-chloride:urea at a molar ratio 1:2 proved efficient removal of the anthraquinone dye Acid Blue 80 (AB80) from aqueous solutions, and offered enhanced adsorption capacity compared to the starting materials. The adsorption was mainly affected by initial AB80 concentration, adsorbent dosage, contact time, and slightly influenced by temperature (25–45 °C), and pH (3.5–10). The pseudo-second-order kinetic model fitted the experimental data, and pseudo-first order model fitted as well at the highest AB80 concentration, 250 mg/L. The experimental data agreed with the Langmuir isotherm model, with a maximum adsorption capacity of 61.64 mg/g at 35 °C. The process was exothermic above 100 mg/L of dye and spontaneous up to 200 mg/L (T < 35 °C). The adsorbent could be reused without further treatment at least 5 times providing ≥40% removal, whereas the dye could be efficiently recovered by NaOH desorption. Extending Graph (Discrete) Derivative Descriptors to N-Tuple Atom-Relations
In the present manuscript, an extension of the previously defined Graph Derivative Indices (GDIs) is discussed. To achieve this objective, the concept of a hypermatrix, conceived from the calculation of the frequencies of triple and quadruple atom relations in a set of connected sub-graphs, is introduced. This set of subgraphs is generated following a predefined criterion, known as the event (S), being in this particular case the connectivity among atoms. The triple and quadruple relations frequency matrices serve as a basis for the computation of triple and quadruple discrete derivative indices, respectively. The GDIs are implemented in a computational program denominated DIVATI (acronym for DIscrete DeriVAtive Type Indices), a module of TOMOCOMD-CARDD program. Shannon‟s entropy-based variability analysis demonstrates that the GDIs show major variability than others indices used in QSAR/QSPR researches. In addition, it can be appreciated when the indices are extended over n-elements from the graph, its quality increases, principally when they are used in a combined way. QSPR modeling of the physicochemical properties Log P and Log K of the 2-furylethylenes derivatives reveals that the GDIs obtained using the tripleand quadruple matrix approaches yield superior performance to the duplex matrix approach. Moreover, the statistical parameters for models obtained with the GDI method are superior to those reported in the literature by using other methods. It can therefore be suggested that the GDI method, seem to be a promissory tool to reckon on in QSAR/QSPR studies, virtual screening of compound datasets and similarity/dissimilarity evaluations

In recent years universities have increased the number of students and academic programs, which requires optimizing their resources in information technology in order to provide coverage and functionality, allowing students, professors and administrators to fulfill their functions. Under this requirement, a study was carried out on the Administration of Information Technology Services in the faculty of Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería. By using of the Plan, Do, Verify and Act cycle, services, catalogs and SLA were defined, OTRS was implemented as an ITSM tool for incident management, thus allowing to control and improve the quality of the services offered to the university community.En los últimos años las universidades han elevado el número de estudiantes y programas académicos, lo cual exige optimizar sus recursos en tecnologías de la información con el fin de brindar cobertura y funcionalidad, permitiendo cumplir a estudiantes, profesores y administrativos sus funciones. Ante tal exigencia, se realizó un estudio sobre la Administración de Servicios de Tecnologías de la Información en la facultad de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería. Aprovechamiento de los desechos del Camarón en la elaboración de Concentrados Proteicos y Derivados Quitinosos
El presente estudio trata de demostrar que en Colombia es posible instalar una planta procesadora que aproveche todos los desechos del camarón, siempre y cuando esta anexa a una industria explotadora de este tipo de recurso, evitando de esta forma la pérdida de un alto porcentaje de materia prima. Este porcentaje proveniente del descole que constituye más del 50% es la materia prima tomada como base para la elaboración de concentrados proteicos para consumo humano, usándose la carne adherida al cefalotórax, que, a pesar de ser una cantidad insignificante, con una tecnología adecuada métodos mecánicos para el separado de la carne, se puede obtener un rendimiento que justifique una inversión para la elaboración de este tipo de producto. Por otra parte, los caparazones separados de la pulpa son aprovechadas para la extracción de quitina, quitosano y Hcl, D-Glucosamina, productos que tienen gran utilización en la industria
Semi-Active Magnetorheological Damper Device for Chatter Mitigation during Milling of Thin-Floor Components
The productivity during the machining of thin-floor components is limited due to unstable vibrations, which lead to poor surface quality and part rejection at the last stage of the manufacturing process. In this article, a semi-active magnetorheological damper device is designed in order to suppress chatter conditions during the milling operations of thin-floor components. To validate the performance of the magnetorheological (MR) damper device, a 1 degree of freedom experimental setup was designed to mimic the machining of thin-floor components and then, the stability boundaries were computed using the Enhance Multistage Homotopy Perturbation Method (EMHPM) together with a novel cutting force model in which the bull-nose end mill is discretized in disks. It was found that the predicted EMHPM stability lobes of the cantilever beam closely follow experimental data. Distribución geográfica y estado de conservación de los peces sierra Pristis spp (Pristiformes: Pristidae) en el Caribe sur
The former presence of sawfishes (Pristis spp) is confirmed for the southern Caribbean Sea from the coasts of Colombia and Venezuela, based on review of eleven rostral saws exhibited in businesses, museums and private collections, as well as bibliographic references, photographs and surveys to detect sightings or captures in both countries. We determined that Pristis pristis and Pristis pectinata were present in the southern Caribbean coasts of Colombia and Venezuela, but that they are now probably locally extinct.Se confirma la presencia en el pasado de las especies de pez sierra (Pristis spp) en el mar Caribe de Colombia y Venezuela, a partir de la revisión de once extensiones rostrales exhibidas en establecimientos, museos y colecciones de particulares, así como la consulta bibliográfica, encuestas y el examen de material fotográfico disponible sobre avistamientos o capturas realizadas en ambos países. Se determinó que las especies presentes en el Caribe de Colombia y Venezuela eran Pristis pristis y Pristis pectinata, las cuales en la actualidad se encuentran probablemente extintas localmente
