Reclutamiento de menores de edad en la Ley de Amnistía del proceso de paz en Colombia

Trabajo de InvestigaciónEl conflicto armado que ha atravesado Colombia por más de 50 años, ha evidenciado la difícil situación de la infancia en Colombia frente al reclutamiento forzado del que son víctimas por grupos armados al margen de la ley. La coacción a la que se ven sometidos determina la entrada de estos menores a grupos armados, donde deben ejercer diferentes funciones. En el marco del Acuerdo de Paz, se pactó la amnistía para una serie de delitos cometidos por los guerrilleros de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (en adelante FARC), buscando establecer condiciones especiales de juzgamiento. Resulta relevante determinar cómo se juzgará el delito de reclutamiento forzado de menores en el marco de la implementación del proceso de paz que atraviesa Colombia.Introducción 1. Halving poverty in Mexico

We estimate the required time and the minimum necessary growth rate to halve poverty incidence and poverty intensity in Mexico’s rural and urban areas for a series of counterfactual distribution and growth scenarios. Results show that, given the current income distribution, per capita incomes in the rural area would have to grow faster –in some cases eight times faster– than they have done historically to shrink poverty by half by 2015. In contrast, income in the urban sector would have to grow around 1 per cent per year to reach the same goal, which seems a more reasonable outcome given its behavior in past years.economic growth, millennium development goals, poverty goals, poverty measurement, Mexico.

Evaluación de necesidades formativas, actitudes y creencias del profesorado de Educación Secundaria

Este artículo describe y analiza las actitudes, creencias y evaluación de necesidades de profesores de educación secundaria en formación permanente en el área de Lengua en el contexto de la Reforma Educativa. La investigación se realizó en el Cep de Sevilla (Centro de Profesores). Se ha seguido tanto una metodología cualitativa (entrevistas) como cuantitativa (cuestionario). Los resultados de este estudio sugieren que es necesario conocer las actitudes y creencias de los profesores para establecer programas de formación.This paper describes and analyzes secondary teacher beliefs, attitudes and needs assessment about in-service teacher training in the area of Language in the context of educative reform. Esta investigación trata de elaborar y validar un instrumento de Ambiente de Clases de Nuevas Tecnologías a una muestra de 303 profesores en formación. El análisis de los datos recogidos de las cuestiones cerradas se ha llevado a cabo a partir del análisis estadístico de los mismos, utilizando para ello el paquete estadístico SPSS para Windows (versión 7.5), es decir, ha bastado una codificación numérica y la utilización de estadísticos descriptivos simples y análisis factorial.This investigation tries to elaborate and to validate an instrument of Environment of Classrooms of New Technologies to a sample of 303 teachers in formation. Broadband transverse susceptibility in multiferroic Y-type hexaferrite Ba0.5Sr1.5Zn2Fe12O22

Producción CientíficaNoncollinear spin systems with magnetically induced ferroelectricity from changes in spiral magnetic ordering have attracted significant interest in recent research due to their remarkable magnetoelectric effects with promising applications. Single phase multiferroics are of great interest for these new multifunctional devices, being Y-type hexaferrites good candidates, and among them the ZnY compounds due to their ordered magnetic behaviour over room temperature. Polycrystalline Y type hexaferrites with composition Ba0.5Sr1.5Zn2Fe2O22 (BSZFO) were sintered in 1050 °C–1250 °C temperature range. Transverse susceptibility measurements carried out on these BSZFO samples in the temperature range 80–350 K with DC fields up to ± 5000 Oe reveal different behaviour depending on the sintering temperature. Sample sintered at 1250 °C is qualitatively different, suggesting a mixed Y and Z phase like CoY hexaferrites. Sintering at lower temperatures produce single phase Y-type, but the transverse susceptibility behaviour of the sample sintered at 1150 °C is shifted at temperatures 15 K higher. Regarding the DC field sweeps the observed behaviour is a peak that shifts to lower values with increasing temperature, and the samples corresponding to single Y phase exhibit several maxima and minima in the 250 K–330 K range at low DC applied field as a result of the magnetic field induced spin transitions in this compound.Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades; Agencia Estatal de Investigación with FEDER (MAT2016-80784-P

HLA-DQA1 allele typing by nonisotopic PCR-LIS-SSCP

In the present study we used a simple and reliable method for HLA-DQA1 allele typing based on the single-stranded conformation polymorphism (SSCP) properties of DNA molecules obtained by PCR. The technique consists of PCR amplification of a DNA fragment comprising the second exon of the HLA-DQA1 gene, amplicon denaturation using a low ionic strength solution (LIS), and electrophoresis on a small native polyacrylamide gel, followed by a rapid silver staining procedure. In order to validate the technique and to obtain the allele patterns for the DQA1 gene, 50 cervical samples were typed using this methodology and the commercial Amplitype® HLA DQA1 Amplification and Typing kit. All the alleles detected with the kit were characterized by the LIS-SSCP approach. This procedure proved to be useful for population screening and typing of the DQA1 gene as well as for detecting new alleles or mutations in the donor-recipient molecular matching of HLA class II genes.Facultad de Ciencias Veterinaria

La gestión de los derechos de autor de las tesis doctorales en Acceso Abierto

Se expone brevemente la experiencia que la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Huelva está llevando a cabo en materia de derechos de autor, para la edición de las tesis doctorales en Arias Montano: Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva. Se ofrece una visión de cómo proteger los derechos de autor de las tesis, con referencias al contrato de edición electrónica, así como a las licencias Creative Commons. Asimismo, se describe el proceso a seguir para publicar e incorporar las tesis leídas a Arias Montano. Se concluye que el contrato de edición electrónica es un mecanismo que aporta ventajas tanto a la Universidad como a los autores. A la Universidad le permite poner en acceso abierto una parte importante de su producción científica, y a los autores les ofrece la posibilidad de publicar su tesis con total garantía de sus derechos, así como la accesibilidad, difusión y visibilidad que permiten los actuales repositorios abiertos (OAI)
