Magnetic Towers and Binary-Formed Disks: New Results for PN Evolution
We present new results of 3-D AMR MHD simulations focusing on two distinct
aspects of PPN evolution. We first report new simulations of collimated
outflows driven entirely by magnetic fields. These Poynting flux dominated
"magnetic towers" hold promise for explaining key properties of PPN flows. Our
simulations address magnetic tower evolution and stability. We also present
results of a campaign of simulations to explore the development of accretion
disks formed via wind capture. Our result focus on the limits of disk formation
and the range of disk properties.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures, to appear in the proceedings of the IAU Symposium

The European Higher Education Area (EHAE) entails, among other things, a reflection on the university teaching methodology. The students must acquire some professional competences, and they are not very likely to acquire them with the traditional teaching methods. Both professors and students need to play new roles. At present, the majority of these students are more interested in passing than in learning. The professor should be a mediator between the students and their teaching-learning process. In which the students must have more prominence and autonomy. That will benefit their learning.
The Interventions Represented with Animals, in this case with horses, are a very
useful method to work with the persons since in each of the meetings the animal facilitates
and motivates the attainment of a few raised aims. In this design of program, we will define
and clarify the different terms of coaching sports of equipment and coaching represented with
horses (CAH), on the other hand also we will explain the relation between both concepts and
finally we will present an offer, of design of a program, detailed, on coaching with horses for
a soccer team, whose one of the principal aims, will be the cohesion of equipment, between
others
Competency Assessment through rubrics. The importance of Mathematics in the Generic Competencies Assessment
This article tries to analyze, through experience and research, the importance of training and competency assessment in the curriculum within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). It focuses on the evaluation of competencies through rubrics or assessment matrices, which facilitate a training assessment with feedback, without ignoring the teacher’s capabilities and skills to achieve an effective teaching and learning process in the student. It ends with the assessment of mathematics as a support to the evaluation of generic competencies, among which we can highlight the competency of written communication

A comparison between the soft X-ray and [O III] morphologies of active galactic nuclei
Several studies of nearby active galactic nuclei (AGN) have shown that the
soft X-ray emission presents a size and morphology that resembles that of the
narrow-line region (NLR) traced by [O III]. Since the NLR is mainly constituted
by gas photoionised by the AGN, it seems logical to assume that this is also
the primary source of the soft X-ray emission. However, these results are based
on individual sources or small samples, particularly focused on type-2 Seyfert
galaxies. Very little has been said concerning other types of AGN. The purpose
of this work is to compare the circumnuclear morphologies of soft X-ray and [O
III] images to test whether they match in different optical classes of AGN. Our
sample is composed of 27 AGN: nine type-1 Seyferts, 10 type-2 Seyferts, and
eight low ionisation nuclear emission-line regions (LINERs). We find a good
match in 100% of the type-2 Seyferts in our sample. This correspondence is less
frequent in type-1 Seyferts (22%) and it is not seen in LINERs. The good
resemblance in type-2 Seyferts constitutes an evidence for a common physical
origin. We argue that the lack of correspondence in type-1 Seyferts might be
due to the line of sight perpendicular to the accretion disk. Based on the
morphologies of the eight LINERs in our sample, we discard a common origin for
the soft X-ray and [O III] emissions in these objects. Regarding the X-ray
properties, both high column density and hard X-ray luminosity are associated
with matched morphologies.Comment: Accepted by MNRAS. 20 pages, 9 figure
tomadas en el EEES.[Abstract:] The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has brought about a radical change in its
universities’ social, political and economic aspects. These changes have been promoted and designed
by the government, largely disregarding the issues and concerns of the University Community.
The end result is a system in which greater importance has been given to the economic and commercial
issues, drastically reducing, perhaps, other important aspects such as the educational or social.
We propose, therefore, that the reform of higher education, far from being culminated, must go
ahead, but we should assess, among other things, the success of some of the changes and concepts
taken in the EHEA
