Photographers' Nomenclature Units: A Structural and Quantitative Analysis

Addressing the needs of cross and intercultural communication as well as the methodology of contrastive research, the paper presents the results of the complex analysis conducted to describe semantic and pragmatic parameters of nomenclature units denoting photography equipment in the modern Russian informal discourse of professional photographers. The research is exemplified by 34 original nomenclature units and their 34 Russian equivalents used in 6871 comments posted at "Клуб.Foto.ru" web-site in 2015. The structural and quantitative analyses of photographers' nomenclature demonstrate the users' morphological and graphic preferences and indirectly reflect their social and professional values. The corpus-based approach developed by Kast-Aigner (2009: 141) was applied in the study with the aim to identify the nomenclature units denoting photography equipment, validate and elaborate the data of the existing corpus. Maģistra darbs izstrādāts ar mērķi veikt SIA „Termo - Eko” darba vidē esošo risku ekspertīzi un novērtēt uzņēmuma darbinieku labklājību. Darbs sastāv no 4 daļām. Darba pirmajā daļā, balstoties uz literatūras avotiem, raksturoti darba vides risku terorētiskie aspekti un to novērtēšanas pamatprincipi.Otrajā daļā aprakstītas pētījumā izmantotās metodes,norādīti veicamie soļi, lai praktiski īstenotu metožu pielietojumu un novērtētu izvēlētos darba vides risku raksturojošos parametrus. Darba trešajā daļā aprakstīti pētījuma rezultāti, kas apliecina, ka nodarbinātie ir pakļauti vairākiem darba vides riska faktoriem – troksnis, vibrācija un dinamiskā slodze ietekmē lauka darbiniekus, bet piespiedu ķermeņa poza biroja darbiniekus. Darba ceturtajā daļā apkopoti izstrādātie veselības veicināšanas pasākumi. Secināts, ka vairākums nodarbināto ir apmierināti ar esošajiem darba apstākļiem un ir informēti par nepieciešamajiem profilaktiskajiem pasākumiem darba risku novēršanai.The aim of the paper is to analyse the occupational hazards in Termo-Eko and evaluate the well-being of company’s employees. The paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter offers a theoretical review of occupational hazards and their assessment methods. The second chapter describes the methods used in practical assessment of occupational hazards and their parameters. The third chapter lists the findings of the research, showing that employee are in impact of some occupational hazards like noise and vibration. It could be concluded that almost all employees have positive opinion about working environment and risk factors. Measures for improving health conditions were developed in chapter four

Lease or easement for a forest plot for linear objects: an economic aspect

In this article, we will consider the interesting, in our opinion, presented data of practitioners and scientists in terms of the study of more cost-effective disposal of forest plots provided for linear objects on the lands of the forest fund of Russia. In our opinion, today it is quite relevant to resolve issues around the payment for the use of forest plots for linear objects for our country: granting the right to lease or establish an easement for the considered plots, as well as conducting forecast financial calculations of these options for the provision of land for 2020. In this article, we only showed forward-looking calculations on the example of the Ural Federal District, which has almost 10% of the country’s forest land (almost 60% of the district’s area), for conclusions about the damage to the budget due to lost revenue due to the choice of the form of granting forest plots, a more complete study of the economic mechanism of land management of the country is necessary, such a task the authors have not yet set themselves

STING-associated vasculopathy with onset in infancy: the first case in Bulgaria and review of the literature

AbstractWe report a clinical case of a 4-year-and-10-month-old boy whose first symptoms (fever and tachypnoea) were noticed at the age of 6 months. In the upcoming months, skin acral violaceous plaques developed. Failure to thrive and growth impairment were detected. In the journey to find the correct diagnosis, a lot of diseases were suspected. The final diagnosis was suggested after more than 2 years since the first symptoms had appeared. A multi-detector computed tomography of the chest with low radiation dose protocol showed signs of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Next-Generation Sequencing was done, and it revealed a pathogenic heterozygous N154S mutation (NM_198282.4 (Stimulator of IFN genes STING1):c.461A > G (p.Asn154Ser)) in STING1 gene. Treatment with JAK-inhibitor baricitinib was started at the age of 3 years and 10 months. The presence of cutaneous vasculopathy, lung involvement, laboratory signs of inflammation, recurrent fevers and failure to thrive should indicate STING1 gene analysis. STING-associated vasculopathy of infantile-onset (SAVI) is one of the newly identified type I interferonopathies. SAVI is characterized by systemic inflammation via the overproduction of type I IFN due to heterozygous gain-of-function mutations in STING1. The onset of the symptoms of SAVI is usually early in infancy with recurrent fevers accompanied by increased acute phase reactants and ulcerating skin lesions
