    Hyperstatic

Hyperstatic is a designation given to structural elements when internal and external forces acting upon them are unable to be definitively calculated. The integrity of equilibrium therefore remains undetermined. The juxtaposition of literal, architectural forms, against the metaphorical, structural, hierarchies that govern society, seeks to question the very nature of humanity’s equilibrium often with a dose of comedic elements. The subversive humor manifested in my work is employed not only to make light of serious questions about the nature of existence, but also to disarm the viewer of preconceived notions about the esoteric seriousness of high art. This thesis catalog is a representation of these concepts in sculptural form

The losses from harvest to feed bunk are undoubtedly greater with hay than any other crop grown by the American farmer. The economic implications of reducing losses through improved harvest technologies is staggering when one considers the 75-85 million tons of alfalfa harvested out of the total 140-145 million tons of hay produced annually in the United States

Indonesia in 2022, will experience a shift in adaptation to recovery from the pandemic as well as rising global commodity prices due to the impact of the Ukraine-Russia war. The government in its efforts to deal with this situation, one of which is by transforming data into one data through the 2022 Social Economic Registration (Regsosek) as a requirement for social protection system reform. However, in practice, Research and Research has become quite a public concern, where the content is almost the same as previous surveys conducted by BPS, which raises questions about the effectiveness of this survey. This study aims to determine the sentiments of each opinion on social media Twitter regarding 2022 Social Security. This research implements the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method to analyze sentiment in tweets. Data obtained from Twitter by scrapping. The polarity percentage results from the tweets obtained are dominated by negative opinions. The best application of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm is using the parameter k = 3. The model built shows very good performance with an accuracy of 96%, a recall of 100%, and a precision of 0,96%

Creating Quality Improvement Culture in Public Health Agencies

Objectives. We conducted case studies of 10 agencies that participated in early quality improvement efforts. Methods. The agencies participated in a project conducted by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (2007–2008). Case study participants included health directors and quality improvement team leaders and members. We implemented multiple qualitative analysis processes, including cross-case analysis and logic modeling. We categorized agencies according to the extent to which they had developed a quality improvement culture. Results. Agencies were conducting informal quality improvement projects (n = 4), conducting formal quality improvement projects (n = 3), or creating a quality improvement culture (n = 4). Agencies conducting formal quality improvement and creating a quality improvement culture had leadership support for quality improvement, participated in national quality improvement initiatives, had a greater number of staff trained in quality improvement and quality improvement teams that met regularly with decision-making authority. Agencies conducting informal quality improvement were likely to report that accreditation is the major driver for quality improvement work. Agencies creating a quality improvement culture were more likely to have a history of evidence-based decision-making and use quality improvement to address emerging issues. Conclusions. Our findings support previous research and add the roles of national public health accreditation and emerging issues as factors in agencies’ ability to create and sustain a quality improvement culture

Evaluating Use of Custom Survey Reports by Local Health Departments

This report demonstrates how providing survey feedback, like comparative reports, to survey respondents can result in improvement activities. For each of the past three years (2010-2013), the North Carolina Institute for Public Health (NCIPH) has invited local health departments (LHDs) from 40 states to participate in a preparedness capacities survey. In addition, NCIPH fielded a six-question evaluation survey to a subset of LHDs (n=70) to determine how LHDs use these reports. LHDs that reported using their custom reports compared their preparedness capacities to other LHDs, conducted strategic planning (e.g., benchmarking, setting preparedness goals), planned staff trainings, and disseminated the report both internally and to external preparedness partners. Through evaluation of custom report use, we have found that survey feedback is a valuable part of a participatory research approach that promotes and encourages discussion, motivates improvement, and provides opportunities to identify potential solutions relevant to both researchers and LHDs

Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua Dengan Pengetahuan Traumatic Dental Injury Pada Anak

    Get PDF
Trauma Dental Injury (TDI) is damage that affects the hard tissues of the teeth or periodontium caused by mechanical processes. This occurrence is very common in children due to various factors such as physical sports activities, fighting, accidents, and eating hard foods. These trauma events can often occur at home, so parents must know the first aid measures that can affect the prognosis of the child's case. However, several reports state that the level of knowledge of parents regarding dental trauma emergency procedures is generally considered low. In addition, the knowledge of school teachers about emergency incident management is also low, this confirms the absolute need for parental education in the management of TDI. Objective: To determine whether there is a relationship between parental education level and knowledge of traumatic dental injury in children. Methods: This type of research is analytic observational which was conducted in August 2022 at SD IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. The sample used in this study were parents of students aged 10-12 years who were willing to participate in this study. The measuring instrument used in this study is a questionnaire in the form of a google form. Results: that parents with the last education of elementary school/equivalent did not have good knowledge about traumatic dental injury, this was inversely proportional to parents who had the latest education in college who had knowledge ranging from good to poor categories. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between parental education level and knowledge about traumatic dental injury in children at SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta

Early Mobility in the Hospital: Lessons Learned from the STRIDE Program

    Get PDF
Immobility during hospitalization is widely recognized as a contributor to deconditioning, functional loss, and increased need for institutional post-acute care. Several studies have demonstrated that inpatient walking programs can mitigate some of these negative outcomes, yet hospital mobility programs are not widely available in U.S. hospitals. STRIDE (assiSTed eaRly mobIlity for hospitalizeD older vEterans) is a supervised walking program for hospitalized older adults that fills this important gap in clinical care. This paper describes how STRIDE works and how it is being disseminated to other hospitals using the Replicating Effective Programs (REP) framework. Guided by REP, we define core components of the program and areas where the program can be tailored to better fit the needs and local conditions of its new context (hospital). We describe key adaptations made by four hospitals who have implemented the STRIDE program and discuss lessons learned for successful implementation of hospital mobility programs

The purpose of this research is to provide guidance for future research that may be related to the concept of innovation specifically within the hospitality industry, which is quite imperative when recent researches are being analyzed further and looked on in a deeper scope. Literature reviews examined in this study had a different drive. The main purpose was to analyze factors that influence business models in the hospitality industry, to provide fusion potential on collaborative innovation in tourism and hospitality and to determine dimensions for sustainable oriented hospitality innovation. This literature review seeks to inspect the existing literature published in the period 2012-2022 by using Emerald Insight and ProQuest database with the following keywords: “innovation” and “hospitality” concerning their a) research focus, b) methodology used, c) sample, d) results. All papers that matched the research requirements and time frame are presented. The two databases were carefully examined for the purpose of this study. This systematic and detailed literature review could be a useful base for future researches and service innovation as a key of business success and competitive advantage for the hospitality industry. One of the most significant findings is the relative lack of empirical researches conducted on the sample of restaurants.
