Human sexuality and sexuality in modern times are widely discussed topics. There are many publications that deal with this issue. This is perhaps due to the following global. socio-cultural changes, the return of which is unknown in the long run. The transformations concern the perception of a sense of gender identity. Scholars wanting to capture this extremely rich reality in a certain framework using a variety of tools. They do this rarely bypassing contexts, in line with prevailing trends, which prevents them from looking objectively at the subject of their research. Such research germinates with information chaos that floods us all pages.Aim : The purpose of the work is the educational role of the nurse in youth attitudes towards sexual behavior.Material and Methods :The research was carried out at the turn of April and June 2014. The study involved 94 students from two schools from the Junior High School in Wólka Pełkińska, Podkarpackie Province and from G Junior High School    No. 9 in Lublin, Lubelskie Province. The diagnostic method that was used in the study was the diagnostic survey. The research tool used was the scale "Attitudes of junior high school students towards sexual behavior". It consists of 21 questions, of which eight are questions from the record. The database was created and statistical analyzes were carried out based on Statistica 9.1 computer software ( StatSoft , Poland).Rezults : The relationships that were shown in the description of the research of this work could result in pedagogical practice. Knowing what relationships prevail in the chosen topic, one could take specific pedagogical actions. Such activities would be, for example, the orientation of school curricula of knowledge subjects to family life, and more specifically topics in the field of premarital chastity as well as sex education. However, this process could not be left without control or specifically planned actions. Conclusion : Selected research tools have proved to meet the needs of the research problem posed. Thanks to the interpretation of the results obtained thanks to them, it turned out that there was a relationship that was sought in the research. It says that the attitudes of junior high school students towards sexual behavior are directly related to social conditions. Genetic Diversity of Pasteurella dagmatis as Assessed by Analysis of the 16S rRNA and rpoB Gene Sequences

    Get PDF
A total of 16 Pasteurella dagmatis strains, including 11 feline and 4 canine isolates as well as one strain isolated from a tiger, were analyzed using partial 16S rRNA and rpoB gene sequence comparison. Phylogenetic studies based on both genes revealed that the population of P. dagmatis recovered from cats in Poland differs markedly from canine strains, constituting a well-separated cluster within Pasteurella sensu stricto species group. The isolate from a tiger seems to represent yet another evolutionary lineage within P. dagmatis

Quality of life of patients undergoing hymenoptera venom immunotherapy

Hymenoptera stings are one of the main causes of anaphylaxis in Europe [1] . Clinical observation shows that the most dangerous effects are those that develop immediately after the sting[2] . Most often, allergic symptoms occur within 5 to 20 minutes. There are reactions starting after 2 hours and sometimes even after 72 hours. The group of patients at risk of more severe reactions are atopic patients, patients with skin mastocytosis , the elderly, burdened with additional diseases. The highest mortality rate is observed in people over 50 years of age [3] . Aim : The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare parameters of quality of life, anxiety and anxiety among patients who have undergone immunotherapy for Hymenoptera venoms. Material and Methods : The research was conducted at the turn of January and February 2019. The study involved 100 patients desensitized to hymenoptera venoms in the Department of Allergology and Lung Diseases of the Provincial Specialist Hospital named after of Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński in Lublin. The diagnostic method that was used in the study was the diagnostic survey. The research tool used was the questionnaire: The World Health Organization Quality Of Life (WHOQOL) -BREF (short version of the questionnaire assessing the quality of life) extended by the author's questionnaire. The database was created and statistical analyzes were carried out based on Statistica 9.1 computer software. ( StatSoft, Poland).   Rezults : The vast majority of respondents said that their quality of life is good or very good. As much as 82% gave such an answer. Only seven of the respondents rated their quality of life as bad or very bad. 11% of respondents could not determine the level of quality of their lives. The respondents gave similar satisfaction to their health condition. As many as 74% of respondents declare that they are satisfied or very happy with their health. A quarter of the respondents could not determine whether they were satisfied or not about their health. Conclusion :      In allergy to hymenoptera insects, a significant impact of the disease on the emotional, professional, social and implemented sphere is observed. The previous experience of anaphylaxis symptoms plays a significant role here, but more importantly anxiety associated with their reoccurrence, which is usually the cause of a deterioration in comfort of life, a sense of security risk. That is why proper education conducted simultaneously with patients' immunotherapy is so important. This has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients allergic and immunotherapy to Hymenoptera venoms

Great Minds Think Alike? Spatial Search Processes Can Be More Idiosyncratic When Guided by More Accurate Information

Existing research demonstrates that pre-decisional information sampling strategies are often stablewithin a given person while varying greatly across people. However, it remains largely unknown whatdrives these individual differences, that is, why in some circumstances we collect information moreidiosyncratically. In this brief report, we present a pre-registered online study of spatial search. Usinga novel technique that combines machine-learning dimension reduction and sequence alignment algo-rithms, we quantify the extent to which the shape and temporal properties of a search trajectory areidiosyncratic. We show that this metric increases (trajectories become more idiosyncratic) when a per-son is better informed about the likely location of the search target, while poorly informed individualsseem more likely to resort to default search routines determined bottom-up by the properties of thesearch field. This shows that when many people independently attempt to solve a task in a similar way, they are not necessarily “onto something.”publishedVersionPaid open acces

The social project manager competence framework

    Get PDF
The main purpose was to create a social project manager competence framework, because it hasn't been defined up till now and it is extremely necessary as there are more and more social project managers who need a list of soft competences which are required from them to work effectively. Interpersonal competences should be much more developed in the case of social project managers because managers make relationships with different people. What is more, social project managers need higher competences than other project managers, especially interpersonal competences which are the most important factor to make a project successful. They should be aware of it before they start the work. The research revealed the most important interpersonal competences which have the greatest influence on the effectiveness of social project managers. Social project managers should know what interpersonal competences are needed to work effectively on a social project. So therefore, the project manager competence framework is especially dedicated to social project managers so they can check if they have most of the required competences to work effectively
