This study aims to identify the effect of computer crimes on the application of information system in bank sector in Jordan. The study relied on both data resources; the primary and the secondary data were collected from a previous studies related to the subject matter, where as the primary data attained through distributing the questionnaire on the study sample. The researchers conducted a statistical analysis for approximately 300 questionnaires  , which were distributed on a sample of Jordan commercial banks, then the responses of the study sample were emptied into the computer, the data analysis was conducted by using statistical analysis system(SPSS), the result showed: There is a relation that has a moral effect between the dangers of viruses and efficiency of the information systems. There is a relation that has a moral effect between the dangers of penetration/violation and the efficiency of information systems. There is a relation that has a moral effect between losing and smuggling of information and the efficiency of information systems. In light of the previous results, the researchers suggest a group of recommendations: The researchers recommend the increase of research related to computer crimes, since it is clear from this study that there is a big gap in studies related to this approach. To publish statistics linked to the internet crimes and its misuse by concerned parties to identify the size of the problem. To form specialized committees of experienced figures to set special laws regarding the computer and the internet crimes in a detailed fashion of laws and regulations in an efficient way in Jordanian judicial authorities. Keywords: Computer Crimes, Viruses, Penetration/Violation, Administrative Information System

Recently, internet technology is considered to be the most used information and communication technology by organizations: it can ease the process of transactions and reinforce the relation between companies and customers. This investigation empirically examines the impact of e-ticketing technique on customer satisfaction; a convenience sample of Jordanian airline passengers that had booked flights in the last 12 months through companies offering e-ticketing services was acquired. The findings indicate that customer satisfaction with e-ticketing services was influenced by all of the independent variables measured (Data security, Customer and Technical Support, and User-Friendliness) were noted to have significant impact on customer satisfaction with e-ticketing services

The determinants of social CRM entrepreneurship : An institutional perspective

Despite a growing interest in social media adoption by corporations, there is minimal knowledge about the drivers of social customer relationship management (SCRM). This study examines the determinants of SCRM entrepreneurship from an institutional perspective and specifically from the banking sector. Data on 19 banks were obtained from 183 responses to a questionnaire. These data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) path modeling. The findings show that organizational and technological contexts have a significant positive impact on SCRM entrepreneurship. The results also reveal a significant impact of institutional normative and coercive pressures on SCRM entrepreneurship. The findings of this study provide researchers and practitioners with a deeper understanding of how external institutional pressures and internal organizational and technological contexts can interact to create SCRM entrepreneurship. Furthermore, this study contributes to knowledge about the motivations and methods of SCRM adoption and evaluation

Radiologists versus Deep Convolutional Neural Networks: A Comparative Study for Diagnosing COVID-19

International audienceThe reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is still the routinely used test for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). However, according to several reports, RT-PCR showed a low sensitivity and multiple tests may be required to rule out false negative results. Recently, chest computed tomography (CT) has been an efficient tool to diagnose COVID-19 as it is directly affecting the lungs. In this paper, we investigate the application of pre-trained models in diagnosing patients who are positive for COVID-19 and differentiating it from normal patients, who tested negative for coronavirus. The study aims to compare the generalization capabilities of deep learning models with two thoracic radiologists in diagnosing COVID-19 chest CT images. A dataset of 3000 images was obtained from the Near East Hospital, Cyprus, and used to train and to test the three employed pre-trained models. In a test set of 250 images used to evaluate the deep neural networks and the radiologists, it was found that deep networks (ResNet-18, ResNet-50, and DenseNet-201) can outperform the radiologists in terms of higher accuracy (97.8%), sensitivity (98.1%), specificity (97.3%), precision (98.4%), and F1-score (198.25%), in classifying COVID-19 images
