Microstrip Inverted F Antenna for GPS Application

A design of compact micro strip inverted F antenna for GPS application is presented. Proposed model is an Inverted-F antenna which receives all the operating frequencies of GPS receiver ranging from 1.176 GHz to 1.575 GHz placed in automobiles. The antenna structure is fabricated, to maintain the axial ratio of 2dB to 3dB and also to achieve circular polarization. FR4- Fiber Glass (Epoxy) is used as Substrate with a Dielectric Constant of 4.4. Copper is used as Radiating Element. The parameters such as Frequency, Return loss, VSWR, Impedance, Radiation pattern and Directivity of the proposed model is simulated by HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator) software of Version 13

A rare case of carcinoma on hard palate

Introduction: The hard palate is a thin horizontal bony plate made up of two facial skeleton bones that run across the roof of the mouth. The palatine process of the maxilla and the horizontal plate of palatine bone are the bones. The alveolar arch, formed by the alveolar process and holds the top teeth in place, has a complex palate that runs its length (when these are developed). Clinical findings: Pain, difficulty in breathing, difficulty in mastication, difficulty in deglutition, balm application, change in voice, tooth exfoliation, lack of appetite Diagnostic evaluation: A male of 58 yrs old was brought by his son with a complaint of pain which is gradual in onset, dull aching, aggravates on chewing, difficulty in deglutition since two months, burning sensation on the consumption of spicy food since two months change in voice, nasal discharge, loss of appetite, weight loss, tooth exfoliation in the upper front region of jaw, and balm application (2-3 episodes, 15 days back). Therapeutic investigation: X-ray, USG, MRI, CT scan, biopsy. Outcome: After treatment, the patient shows excellent improvement. Conclusion: A male of 58 years old was admitted on 28/9/2020 with a rare case of Wilms tumor. He was 45 kg, and his height was 158 cm. He was admitted to the hospital, where all investigations and treatments began. He improved dramatically after therapy and continued to do so until my last day of care

A Study to Assess the Usage, Perception and Effect of Safe Delivery Application Regarding Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care in Final Year Students of Selected Nursing Colleges, NCR

Introduction:  Health professionals who oversee routine and complex deliveries in remote places might utilize the Safe Delivery Application, a mobile health tool. The programme includes practical training DVDs on important obstetric procedures that can aid health professionals in putting their newly acquired knowledge into practice and can decrease the rate of infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate.  Objectives: The main objective of the study to assess the usage, perception and effect of safe delivery application regarding emergency obstetrics and newborn care in final year students of selected nursing colleges. Methodology: -The research design for this study was Quasi experimental design to assess the usage, perception and effect regarding SDA. Total enumerative sampling technique were used to select 300 final year nursing students, NCR. Informed written consent was taken from each nursing student. A structured questioners and likert scale were administered to assess the usage, perception and effect for SDA. The collected data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Frequency and percentage distribution was used for demographic variables and assessing the usage, perception and effect among nursing students. Chi-square was used to find out the association between usage and perception among final year nursing students and selected demographic variables. Result: The data obtained was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that there was a usage & knowledge gap among nursing students (mean 11.66, SD 3.34) but after using the safe delivery application the post-test scores improved to (mean 20.67 SD 12.26) in terms of usage & perception were significantly higher than the pre-test score. This shows that the safe delivery application was effective in improving the knowledge regarding the usage, perception and effect of SDA regarding final-year nursing students on active management of third-stage labor, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal resuscitation were successful

A LITERARY REVIEW OFTHE CONTENTS OF THULASI ENNAI (PEDIATRIC SIDDHA FORMULATION) IN THE MANAGEMENT OF PEDIATRIC BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

Objectives: The purpose of this review article is focused on the photochemical constituents and therapeutic potential of Thulasi Ennai to combat pediatric bronchial asthma. Methods: The electronic databases such as Google Scholar, Medline/PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct, Scopus and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and reference lists have been looked to identify publications pertinent to the individual herbs of Thulasi Ennai. Results: The pharmacological effects of the herbs found in Thulasi Ennai possess anti-asthmatic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and other pharmacological effects relevant to the management of bronchial asthma. Conclusion: The present review concluded the safety of the Thulasi Ennai in preclinical studies. Further, clinical studies of Thulasi Ennai would need to be performed in humans to assess the efficacy of Thulasi Ennai
