    A Review of Video Triggers and Video Production in Higher Education and Continuing Education PBL Settings

    Higher education faces the challenges of bridging education and authentic work. In addition, it needs to respond to the highly multimodal and participatory communication and content creation practices, preferences, and cultures of present and future students. The aim of our article is to discuss how the use of video triggers and video production in PBL can help to respond to these challenges. Based on a literature review, we present and discuss the uses and outcomes of video triggers and video production within PBL contexts and related higher education and continuing education contexts. The research evidence reviewed in this article clearly illustrates the advantages of video triggers and video production in PBL settings while at the same time pointing out several conditions of their effective use

    Internationalization presents both opportunities and challenges for higher education policies and curricula, as well as for teaching and learning methods. This article describes and discusses ongoing exploration and development of the planned curriculum of the MA in Media Education at the Faculty of Education at the University of Lapland, Finland in terms of cultural inclusion and the integration of disciplines. The study concludes that the planned curriculum now includes new content that better supports cultural inclusion. Nevertheless, it was established that several steps are needed to move toward a more inter- and even transdisciplinary media education higher education curriculum

    Setiap manusia memiliki kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi. Salah satunya yaitu kebutuhan fisik yang perlu dipenuhi, terkhusus pada tempat tinggal. Memiliki rumah sendiri kini bukan lagi sesuatu yang sulit, karena ada fasilitas Kredit Kepemilikan Rumah (KPR). KPR adalah suatu fasilitas kredit yang diberikan oleh perbankan kepada nasabah perorangan yang akan membeli atau memperbaiki rumah. Di jaman ini. pemilihan transaksi syariah lebih di inginkan oleh beberapa orang disebabkan oleh pengaruh religiusitas yang dipercayai. Namun pada akhir tahun 2019 ada beberapa kasus developer properti syariah yang tidak amanah, dari sisi pelayanan, religiusitas, tidak sebanding harga dengan kualitas produknya, lokasi yang terkesan mudah terjangkau, dimana kesemuanya tertuang dalam promosi yang dilakukan, kemudian mendorong konsumen untuk terpancing mengambil keputusan membeli serta banyak properti syariah menjual dengan akad bermasala. Sehingga membuat mayarakat muslim ragu untuk membeli properti yang menggunakan sistem jual beli secara syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi konsumen mengenai kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan dan religiusitas terhadap keputusan pembelian properti, faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam pemebelian properti, dan strategi meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap properti di Rumah Halal Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Rumah Halal Indonesia selama periode Agustus 2022 sebanyak 249 responden, namun sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 71 responden. Sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan metode kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun variabel yang diteliti meliputi kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan dan religiusitas sebagai variabel bebas dan keputusan pembelian sebagai variabel terikat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik analisis  deskriptif kuantitaif  serta  analisis partial  least  square  structural  equation  modeling (PLS-SEM).  PLS-SEM yaitu  model  persamaan  struktural untuk mengembangkan atau memprediksi suatu teori yang sudah ada. Model persamaan yang dianalisis adalah model bagian luar (outer model), model bagian dalam (inner model) dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan  menggunakan  perangkat  lunak  PLS-SEM  versi  3.0  diperoleh  hasil  bahwa  persepsi baik sebanyak 48.1% dan persepsi baik sekali sebanyak 51.9%. Dapat di ketahui pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan  antara kualitas produk dengan keputusan pembelian, pengaruh positif antaran kualitas pelayanan secara signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan pengaruh positif antara religiusitas secara signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian properti di Rumah Halal Indonesia. Dan untuk meningkatkan pembelian peroperti di Rumah Halal Indonesia menggunakan strategi dengan cara Indikator yang sudah baik bisa ditingakatkan lagi dan indikator yang baik sekali dipertahankan

    Pseudo-affinity chromatography of rumen microbial cellulase on Sepharose- Cibacron Blue F3GA

    Pseudo affinity adsorption of bioproducts on Sepharose-cibacron blue F3-GA was subjected to rumen microbial enzyme evaluation through batch binding and column chromatography of cellulase. The results showed that homogenizing method had better performance in the release of enzyme, so that the amount of enzyme in rumen liquor approximately doubled. Among the preconcentration methods, it was shown that freeze drying and precipitation of enzyme using ammonium sulphate were the best. Based on equilibrium adsorption data, the best temperature, contact time and elution agent were 30°C, 15 min and 0.5 M NaCl (pH 6.5), respectively. Microbial cellulase was purified from rumen liquor to 1.2 and 14.2- fold by ammonium sulphate fractionation and Sepharose-CB column chromatography, respectively. The generic sample preparation and application of the sorbent for the adsorption and separation of cellulase is discussed.Key words: Cellulase, pseudo-affinity chromatography, purification, sepharose-cibacron blue F3-GA

    La didáctica de Jesús - The teaching of Jesus

    There is a general consensus that, despite his brief ministry, Jesus was the master of greater impact and influence in the history of mankind. It is natural thatChristian educators wishing to learn from his teaching and apply, as far as possible to their own teaching practice. This article first analyzes the differences between training, personality and the environment in which Jesus performed his work and the educational context of our contemporary reality. Then he outlined the four models that already existed within the Greek and Hebrew culture, for teachers of his time, but that Jesus did not imitate. Then examines the characteristics of his teaching style. At the core of the paper studies and exemplify seven teaching methods employed by Jesus, who contributed to the success of his mission.Existe un consenso general de que, no obstante su breve ministerio, Jesús fue el maestro de mayor impacto e influencia en la historia de la humanidad. Es natural que los educadores cristianos deseen aprender de su didáctica y aplicarla, en la medida de lo posible, a su propia práctica docente. Este artículo analiza, en primer lugar, las diferencias que existen entre la formación, la personalidad y el ambiente en que Jesús desempeñó su labor y el contexto educacional de nuestra realidad contemporánea. En segundo lugar, se perfilan los cuatro modelos que ya existían, dentro de la cultura griega y hebrea, para los maestros de su época, pero que Jesús no imitó. A continuación se examinan las características de su estilo pedagógico. En la parte medular del ensayo se estudian y ejemplifican siete métodos didácticos empleados por Jesús, que contribuyeron al éxito de su misión

    Brief Report: Surveillance of Congenital Anomalies After Exposure to Raltegravir or Elvitegravir During Pregnancy in the United Kingdom and Ireland, 2008–2018

    BACKGROUND: The indisputable benefits of antiretroviral therapy (ART) in the reduction of mother-to-child-transmission of HIV (MTCT) have to be carefully balanced with the risks of embryo-foetal toxicities due to foetal exposure to maternal ART.The recent report of a potential safety signal with Dolutegravir use in pregnancy and potential increased rate of neural tube defects (NTDs), has raised the question of a potential class effect for Integrase Strand Inhibitors. To contribute real-world evidence we evaluated data on pregnant women receiving Raltegravir (RAL) or Elvitegravir (EVG) in the UK and Ireland. METHODS: The National Study of HIV in Pregnancy and Childhood (NSHPC) is a comprehensive population-based surveillance study collecting data on all HIV-positive pregnant women and their children. We collected data on all pregnancies exposed to an ART regimen containing RAL or EVG resulting in livebirth, stillbirth and induced abortion with an expected date of delivery between September 2008 and April 2018. Pregnancies were stratified into three groups of earliest exposure. RESULTS: A total of 908 pregnancies were exposed to a RAL or EVG-based regimen (875 to RAL and 33 to EVG). There were 886 live-born infants exposed to RAL, eight pregnancies ended in stillbirth and nine in induced abortions. Among the 886 live-born infants there were 23 (2.59% 95% CI 1.65, 3.86) reported congenital anomalies, two nervous system defects but no reported NTDs. Of the 33 pregnancies exposed to EVG, 31 resulted in live-born infants with no congenital anomaly and the remaining two pregnancies ended in induced abortion. CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of congenital anomalies is consistent with national population estimates for 2008-2016 in the UK. More data are needed on safety of RAL and EVG in pregnancy
