Relations between generalized and transverse momentum dependent parton distributions
Recent work suggests non-trivial relations between generalized parton
distributions on the one hand and (naive time-reversal odd) transverse momentum
dependent distributions on the other. Here we review the present knowledge on
such type of relations. Moreover, as far as spectator model calculations are
concerned, the existing results are considerably extended. While various
relations between the two types of parton distributions can be found in the
framework of spectator models, so far no non-trivial model-independent

Towards an understanding of isospin violation in pion-nucleon scattering
We investigate isospin breaking in low-energy pion-nucleon scattering in the
framework of chiral perturbation theory. This work extends the systematic
analysis of [1] to the energy range above threshold. Various relations, which
identically vanish in the limit of isospin symmetry, are used to quantify
isospin breaking effects. We study the energy dependence of the S- and P-wave
projections of these ratios and find dramatic effects in the S-waves of those
two relations which are given in terms of isoscalar quantities only. This

Weak hyperon decays in heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory: Renormalization and applications
The complete renormalization of the weak Lagrangian to chiral order q^2 in
heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory is performed using heat kernel
techniques. The results are compared with divergences appearing in the
calculation of Feynman graphs for the nonleptonic hyperon decay Lambda -> p
pi^- and an estimate for the size of the counterterm contributions to the
s-wave amplitudes in nonleptonic hyperon decays is given.Comment: 21 pages, 2 figure
Chiral Perturbation Theory in a Nuclear Background
We propose a novel way to formulate Chiral Perturbation Theory in a nuclear
background, characterized by a static, non-uniform distribution of the baryon
number that describes the finite nucleus. In the limiting case of a uniform
distribution, the theory reduces to the well-known zero-temperature in-medium
ChPT. The proposed approach is used to calculate the self-energy of the charged
pion in the background of the heavy nucleus at O(p^5) in the chiral expansion,
and to derive the leading terms of the pion-nucleus optical potential.Comment: 42 pages, Latex, 4 Postscript figure
Dynamical coupled-channel approaches on a momentum lattice
Dynamical coupled-channel approaches are a widely used tool in hadronic
physics that allow to analyze different reactions and partial waves in a
consistent way. In such approaches the basic interactions are derived within an
effective Lagrangian framework and the resulting pseudo-potentials are then
unitarized in a coupled-channel scattering equation. We propose a scheme that
allows for a solution of the arising integral equation in discretized momentum
space for periodic as well as twisted boundary conditions. This permits to
study finite size effects as they appear in lattice QCD simulations. The new
formalism, at this stage with a restriction to S-waves, is applied to
coupled-channel models for the sigma(600), f0(980), and a0(980) mesons, and
also for the Lambda(1405) baryon. Lattice spectra are predicted.Comment: 7 pages, 4 figure
Implementing Industry 4.0 in SMEs: A Focus Group Study on Organizational Requirements
In the past, literature has mainly focused on the technical aspects of Industry 4.0. A detailed analysis of the implementation processes and the related organizational requirements is therefore missing. This chapter aims to address the aforementioned gap by empirically investigating the main organizational requirements for Industry 4.0 implementation in SMEs. We focus on SMEs because they are very important for many countries and it is expected that they will face more difficulties in adopting Industry 4.0 than large companies. Based on a systematic literature review and a focus group study a set of organizational issues that might hinder Industry 4.0 implementation have been identified and classified into six categories. The results of the study have significant implications for researchers, managers, and policy-makers

of the Chiral Dynamics Workshop in Mainz, September 1-5, 1997. Each talk is

DN interaction from meson exchange
A model of the DN interaction is presented which is developed in close
analogy to the meson-exchange KbarN potential of the Juelich group utilizing
SU(4) symmetry constraints. The main ingredients of the interaction are
provided by vector meson (rho, omega) exchange and higher-order box diagrams
involving D*N, D\Delta, and D*\Delta intermediate states. The coupling of DN to
the pi-Lambda_c and pi-Sigma_c channels is taken into account. The interaction
model generates the Lambda_c(2595) resonance dynamically as a DN quasi-bound
state. Results for DN total and differential cross sections are presented and
compared with predictions of an interaction model that is based on the
leading-order Weinberg-Tomozawa term. Some features of the Lambda_c(2595)
resonance are discussed and the role of the near-by pi-Sigma_c threshold is
emphasized. Selected predictions of the orginal KbarN model are reported too.
Specifically, it is pointed out that the model generates two poles in the
partial wave corresponding to the Lambda(1405) resonance.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figure
Status of three flavor baryon chiral perturbation theory
I review the present status of three flavor baryon chiral perturbation theory
in the heavy fermion formalism. It is argued that precise calculations have to
include all terms quadratic in the quark masses. As examples, I consider the
chiral expansion of the octet baryon masses, the baryon magnetic moments and
