Attitude toward the cloning of animals for food in Hungary
There are a number of publications assessing the cloning of humans and animals, but for the time being there are only a limited number of articles investigating the attitude toward the cloning of animals for food or toward the incorporation cloned animals in the food chain. The goal of our survey was to identify and characterize Hungarian consumer groups on the topic in question, on the basis of a detailed questionnaire. In the course of the statistical evaluation, main component and factor analysis, as well as K-Means cluster analysis were performed. Data measured using the ecological orientation scale (NEP scale [1]) were also included in the cluster formation, assuming that this will be helpful in the interpretation of the attitude toward cloning. Four consumer clusters were distinguished, and these were named as âtechnocratâ, âutilitarianâ, ânaive resistantâ and ârisk sensitiveâ. A connection was revealed between ecological orientation and the attitude toward cloning, the measurement of ecological orientation was helpful in explaining and better understanding the consumer perception of cloning. The results of the survey showed significant differences according to the qualifications of the subjects (relevant degree), their level of knowledge and their interest in the topic as well. Thus, it was confirmed that attitudes are affected by several factors, and our results can provide a basis for starting a consultation with consumers, and for shaping and changing consumer views

Sikeresen adalĂ©koltunk UO3-at az ĂŒvegbe, Ă©s azt tapasztaltuk, hogy az urĂĄn beĂ©pĂŒl a hĂĄlĂłszerkezetbe Ă©s stabilizĂĄlja az ĂŒveg szerkezetĂ©t. | We have determined the characteristic atomic and magnetic structure parameters for various polycrystalline materials prepared by novel techniques using neutron and x-ray diffraction experimental techniques, and Rietveld analysis data treatment. Formation of an incommensurate magnetic order with 98 ? periodicity length and 40? cone angle has been established in the Sc-substituted hexaferrite. The anomalous magnetic behaviour of FeAl2 alloy was explained by an incommensurate magnetic structure instead of the commonly accepted spin glass structure. Lattice distortion, crystal symmetry changes and charge-magnetic ordering effects were analysed in Bi-based manganese oxide perovskites in dependence of temperature. Changes in lattice parameters and atomic positions were analysed in Er and Yb substituted Yttrium-Aluminum borates. Sodium borosilicate matrix glasses are known as most suitable materials for radioactive waste material storage. We have successfully prepared these matrix glasses with various compositions, and the network structure was analysed by reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) simulation of the neutron diffraction spectra. Several partial atomic pair correlation functions have been revieled, and the characteristic parameters were determined, like the atomic bond distances, coordination numbers, the basic structural units, and for the simple glasses the bond angle- and the ring size distributions, as well. It was found that addition of UO3 stabilizes the network structure
A felsĆoktatĂĄsban tanulĂł fiatalok jellemzĂ©se pĂ©nzĂŒgyi cĂ©ljaik, attitƱdjeik Ă©s magatartĂĄsuk mentĂ©n
A tanulmaÌny ceÌlja, hogy feltaÌrja: a felsoÌoktataÌsban tanuloÌ fiatalok milyen peÌnzuÌgyi ceÌlokkal, tudaÌssal, attituÌddel eÌs strateÌgiaÌval rendelkeznek, illetve ezek segiÌtik-e, vagy veszeÌlyeztetik hosszuÌ taÌvuÌ peÌnzuÌgyi ceÌljaik megvaloÌsiÌtaÌsaÌt. A kutataÌs a magyar felsoÌoktataÌsban tanuloÌ fiatalokat (N=2557) peÌnzuÌgyi attituÌdjeik eÌs magatartaÌsuk menteÌn szegmentaÌlja eÌs jellemzi. A vaÌlaszadoÌk haÌrom csoportba sorolhatoÌk: 1. KoÌnnyelmuÌek. A Carpe Diem szemleÌlet eÌs aggoÌdaÌs egyaraÌnt megjelenik. PeÌnzuÌgyi tudaÌsuk eÌs magabiztossaÌguk alacsony. HosszuÌ taÌvuÌ peÌnzuÌgyi ceÌljaik megvaloÌsiÌtaÌsaÌban a kuÌlsoÌ kontrollos attituÌd jellemzoÌ, a boldogulaÌst maÌsoktoÌl vaÌrjaÌk. 2. Megfontolt kockaÌzatkeruÌloÌk. A figyelmesseÌg eÌs az alapossaÌg mellett a kockaÌzatok keruÌleÌse eÌs a joÌvoÌre valoÌ felkeÌszuÌleÌs, takareÌkossaÌg jellemzi oÌket. PeÌnzuÌgyi ceÌljaik megvaloÌsiÌtaÌsaÌhoz olyan tradicionaÌlis eÌs belsoÌ kontrollos strateÌgiaÌt vaÌlasztanak, mint a peÌnz beosztaÌsa eÌs a szorgalmas munka. 3. Tudatos magabiztosak. KeÌzben tartjaÌk a peÌnzuÌgyeiket. BiÌznak a peÌnzuÌgyi szolgaÌltatoÌkban, sziÌvesen vesznek foÌl hitelt, eÌs rendszeresen megtakariÌtanak.
