Interacting Electrons on a Square Fermi Surface

Electronic states near a square Fermi surface are mapped onto quantum chains. Using boson-fermion duality on the chains, the bosonic part of the interaction is isolated and diagonalized. These interactions destroy Fermi liquid behavior. Non-boson interactions are also generated by this mapping, and give rise to a new perturbation theory about the boson problem. A case with strong repulsions between parallel faces is studied and solved. There is spin-charge separation and the square Fermi surface remains square under doping. At half-filling, there is a charge gap and insulating behavior together with gapless spin excitations. This mapping appears to be a general tool for understanding the properties of interacting electrons on a square Fermi surface.Comment: 25 pages, Nordita preprint 94/22

Penentuan Rumus Pembusukan Ikan Menggunkan Metode Curve Fitting Dengan Pendekatan Pengolahan Citra Terhadap Citra Digital Insang Ikan

Pengolahan citra digital (digital image processing) merupakan teknik-teknik pengolahan citra yang saat ini banyak dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai bidang. Dalam penelitian ini, Digital Image Processing digunakan untuk meneliti proses pembusukan ikan mujair (Oreochromis Mossambicus).Citra yang diolah sebanyak 11 citra insang yang diambil dari seekor ikan mujair. Periode Pengambilan masing-masing citra dilakukan dalam setiap 1 jam terhitung mulai ikan tersebut mati hingga membusuk. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menghitung nilai warna merah pada setiap citra insang menggunakan perbandingan perhitungan RGB kemudian dilakukan penentuan rumus pembusukan dengan menggunakan metode curve fitting. Langkah terakhir adalah menghitung nilai rata-rata error dengan menggunkakan metode linier, kuadratik dan kubik sehingga diperoleh error terkecil.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan warna merah pada citra insang dan cenderung berkurang seiring bertambahnya waktu semenjak ikan tersebut mati hingga membusuk, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kandungan warna merah dalam insang ikan banding terbalik dengan bertambahnya waktu menuju pembusukan ikan

Snow cover monitoring by machine processing of multitemporal LANDSAT MSS data

LANDSAT frames were geometrically corrected and data sets from six different dates were overlaid to produce a 24 channel (six dates and four wavelength bands) data tape. SISTEM PAKAR PENDIAGNOSA PENYAKIT ANAK MENGGUNAKAN CERTAINTY FACTOR (CF)ABSTRAKTelah dibangun sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit anak dengan penanganan faktor ketidakpastian menggunakan certainty factor (CF). Tahapan pembangunan sistem ini dimulai dengan mengakuisisi pengetahuan dari dokter ahli anak kemudian membangun basis pengetahuan dan memberikan nilai CF pada setiap gejala yang terkait dengan suatu penyakit anak dalam range nilai 0 dan1. APLIKASI SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSANPEMBERIAN IZIN TRAYEK ANGKUTAN KOTA PADA PEMERINTAH KOTA MANADO ABSTRAK Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemberian Izin Trayek Angkutan Kota dirancang untuk memudahkan dan mengefisienkan pemberian izin trayek terhadap angkutan kota dalam lingkup Pemerintah Kota Manado. Kriteria-kriteria yang diperlukan dalam mengeluarkan izin trayek anggkutan kota dimodelkan menggunakan model matematik dengan cara memberikan bobot pada setiap kriteria dengan besaran bobot sesuai dengan tingkat signifikansinya kemudian setiap sub kriteria diberikan nilai numerik antara 0 .. 100 dan dihitung nilai sub total kriteria dengan mengacu pada pembobotan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menjumlahkan semua nilai sub total setiap kriteria untuk mendapati nilai total yang dipakai sebagai dasar pendukung keputusan. Analisa resiko menyatakan sub kriteria yang tidak terpenuhi atau mendapat penilaian 0 (nol).
