Guidelines for the diagnosis, classification, prophylaxis and treatment of chronic graft-versus-host disease
The lack of widely-used standardized diagnostic criteria may impair both the true evaluation of chronic graft-versus-host disease and the correlation of its severity with transplant-related mortality. At the I Consensus of the Brazilian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation - SBTMO that took place in June 2009, the Group of GVHD Studies Brazil-Seattle (GEDECH), presented the guidelines for diagnosis, classification, prophylaxis and treatment of chronic GVHD as proposed by the National Institutes of Health and based on the reality in Brazilian Centers. These proposals, including standardization of features used in diagnosis and tools to score involved organs and to assess the overall severity, should be used in clinical studies of chronic graft-versus-host disease. These criteria are useful to better analyze the incidence of this disease, in addition to evaluate the extension of the involvement of organs or the site affected and its influence on late transplantation mortality. Prophylaxis and treatment proposed for this important complication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantations were discussed and graded according to the levels of evidence established by the National Institutes of Health.

A noção de Estado logístico é sugerida como alternativa estratégica ao Estado normal.<br>In this article, international relations in Latin America are analysed through the viewpoint of the transition from a diplomacy of development to a neoliberal model. Studies in International Relations as a discipline, especially those carried out in Brazil and Argentina, are the basis for the author's interpretation about benefits and failures of the neoliberal paradigm, understood as an ideological option. The author forwards the notion of Logistic State as a strategic alternative to the Normal State
Transverse polarisation measurement of hyperons in Ne collisions at =68.4 GeV with the LHCb detector
A measurement of the transverse polarization of the and hyperons in Ne fixed-target collisions at =68.4 GeV is presented using data collected by the LHCb detector. The polarization is studied using the decay together with its charge conjugated process, the integrated values measured are Furthermore, the results are shown as a function of the Feynman variable, transverse momentum, pseudorapidity and rapidity of the hyperons, and are compared with previous measurements.A measurement of the transverse polarization of the and hyperons in Ne fixed-target collisions at = 68.4 GeV is presented using data collected by the LHCb detector. Measurement of the Branching Fraction of Decays
International audienceThe ratio of branching fractions between and decays is measured with proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb. The measured value is , where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The branching fraction for decays is determined using the branching fraction of the normalisation channel, resulting in , where the last uncertainty corresponds to that of the external input. This result is consistent with the current world average value and competitive with the most precise single measurement to date
