Automated measurements of diffuse interstellar bands in early-type star spectra Correlations with the Color Excess
Stellar spectroscopic surveys may bring useful statistical information on the
links between Diffuse Interstellar Bands (DIBs) and interstellar environment.
DIB databases can also be used as a complementary tool for locating
interstellar (IS) clouds. Our goal is to develop fully automated methods of DIB
measurements to be applied to extensive data from stellar surveys. We present a
method appropriate for early-type nearby stars, its application to
high-resolution spectra of 130 targets recorded with ESO FEROS spectrograph,
and comparisons with other determinations. Using a DIB average profile deduced
from the most reddened stars, we performed an automated fitting of a
combination of a smooth stellar continuum, the DIB profile, and, when
necessary, a synthetic telluric transmission. Measurements are presented for 16
DIBs in the optical domain that could be extracted automatically: 4726.8,
4762.6, 4963.9, 5780.4, 5797.1, 5849.8, 6089.8, 6196.0, 6203.0-6204.5, 6269.8,
6283.8, 6379.3, 6445.3, 6613.6, 6660.7, and 6699.3 {\AA}.Comment: (A&A accepted
Danger is My Middle Name: Experimenting with SSL Vulnerabilities in Android Apps
This paper presents a measurement study of information leakage and SSL
vulnerabilities in popular Android apps. We perform static and dynamic analysis
on 100 apps, downloaded at least 10M times, that request full network access.
Our experiments show that, although prior work has drawn a lot of attention to
SSL implementations on mobile platforms, several popular apps (32/100) accept
all certificates and all hostnames, and four actually transmit sensitive data
unencrypted. We set up an experimental testbed simulating man-in-the-middle
attacks and find that many apps (up to 91% when the adversary has a certificate
installed on the victim's device) are vulnerable, allowing the attacker to
access sensitive information, including credentials, files, personal details,
and credit card numbers. Finally, we provide a few recommendations to app

Refrain is young-adult teen romance novel by Winna Efendi. The story tells
about friendship since childhood that turned into love as they mature. Within
this research, the writer is trying to find the Intrinsic Element of Efendi’s
Refrain such as character, setting, and plot. This research is done by using
qualitative descriptive research. The writer using some books and many other
sources as references, that the writer think related to the subject matter that is
being analyzed. The story described complete and detail. Niki a cheerful girl,
active in many ways, their behavior will make the readers love figure of Niki.
Nata who had a cold nature, quiet, not a lot of talk and not a lot care about
people. Annalise looked so happy to met and made friends with Niki and
Nata.The story created was unique, the story of teen romance attractive, made
the reader felt and could described in fantasy. The story also wrapped very well,
interested in genre about teen romance, the language used could be understood
by the reader, made the reader got carried away and seemed into the story. Then

texts inwriting this paper. The novel describes how each of the elements

PENERAPAN DOUBLE LOOP PROBLEM SOLVING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIS DAN SELF-EFFICACY SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Selain faktor kognitif, ada hal lain yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan seseorang dalam pembelajaran, yaitu aspek psikologis. Salah satu aspek psikologis tersebut adalah self-efficacy. Untuk mengatasi kedua permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis level 3 siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan DLPS dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional, serta dampak pendekatan tersebut terhadap self-efficacy siswa baik ditinjau secara keselurahan, maupun berdasarkan kategori kemampuan awal matematis (KAM). Desain yang digunakan adalah desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 27 Bandung. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes KAM, tes kemampuan literasi matematis level 3 dan angket skala sikap self-efficacy. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis level 3 siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan DLPS berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional, peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis level 3 siswa untuk kategori KAM tinggi dan sedang kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan DLPS berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa kelas konvensional, serta Self-efficay siswa kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan DLPS tidak berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa di kelas yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional.
The study was based on low ability students' mathematical literacy. In addition to cognitive factors, there are other things that affect a person's success in learning, which is the psychological aspect. One of these is the psychological aspect of self-efficacy. To solve both these problems, the research conducted using the Double Loop Problem Solving approach (DLPS). The purpose of this study was to compare the increase in mathematical literacy skills level 3 students who received learning approach with students who obtain DLPS conventional learning, and the impact of this approach to student self-efficacy in keselurahan well reviewed, and based on early mathematical ability category (KAM) . The design used is the design of a non-equivalent control group using purposive sampling technique. The samples were in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 27 Bandung. The research instrument consisted of KAM test, test level 3 mathematical literacy skills and attitudes questionnaire self-efficacy scale. The results of this study showed that increasing mathematical literacy skills level 3 students who received learning DLPS approach differs significantly from conventional learning students gain, increase the ability of mathematical literacy level 3 students for high KAM categories and classes are gained by learning different approaches DLPS significant with conventional grade students, as well as Self-efficay grade students acquire learning experiments with DLPS approach did not differ significantly with students in the classroom who acquire conventional learning
