Lexicografia i correcció: la funció dels diccionaris en la revisió de textos

The aim of this paper is an attempt to revise the role of dictionaries in professional text supervising processes. Under the frame of text linguistics, we first explain how correction tasks are conditioned by text typology. Next, we study the macro structure of dictionaries (in order to consider what kind of lexicographical works are closer to the corrector needs) and then we study their micro structure (in order to set up what kind of information might be relevant for correction tasks). In conclusion, we finally State some lacks of current dictionaries for correction purposes, and we settle some aspects of text revision which are not expected to be solved with dictionary consultation

Variació lèxica: de la idiosincràsia al tractament sistemàtic de la diversitat

Several attempts to describe and explain lexical regularities and irregulaties have been made in morphology and semantics. Dialectology and historical grammar have studied phenomena of lexical alternation and change. Yet, applied linguistics has not shown the intrinsic variation of lexic even though there have been, and are, many pedagogical, computer, and lexicographic reasons to describe this complexity. Studies focusing on this issue of variation are relatively recent. There is no grammatical model to thoroughly explain communicative competence available at this point in time. And the incorporation of lexical variation in some theoretical models is still very limited. This paper aims at considering the notion of internal variation as an integral part of the models on the lexical component of grammar. And it also aims at systematically relating the several aspects of lexic with the notion of internal variation

L'alternança acusatiu/datiu des de la perspectiva lexicogràfica

L'objectiu que ens proposem aquí és observar globalment el fenomen de l'alternança acusatiu/datiu per al complement argumental [+animat] de diversos tipus de verbs (molestar, telefonar, perdonar, imputar) des d'una perspectiva lexicogràfica. Sovint, les oscil·lacions en l'ús lingüístic són objecte, primer, de treballs monogràfics i, més endavant, són recollits dins de gramàtiques o en altres obres de referència, que alhora són fonts primordials per al treball lexicogràfic. Tanmateix, els usos oscil·lants suposen un doble repte per al lexicògraf, perquè ha de decidir si el fenomen descrit té prou extensió en l'ús com per a ser representat al diccionari en cada unitat lèxica afectada i perquè les causes de la variació condicionen la manera de representar el fenomen (accepcions, comentaris, exemples, marques).Our aim in this paper is to provide an overview of the accusative/dative alternation in the [+ animate] object argument in various types of verb (molestar, telefonar, perdonar, imputar) from a lexicographical perspective. Very often, the variations in linguistic use are dealt with first in monographs, and later they appear in grammars or other reference works, which, at the same time, are the prime sources for work on lexicography. All the same, variation presents lexicographers with a twofold challenge because they haveto decide whether the phenomenon described is sufficiently widely used to justify its inclusion in a dictionary under all the words it affects, and because the causes of the phenomenon condition the way it is represented (acceptations, comments, examples, markers)

L?anàlisi del canvi lèxic en el discurs especialitzat

En aquest text s?explora l?abordatge incipient de l?anàlisi del canvi lingüístic en contextos comunicatius especialitzats. Des de història de la ciència i la terminologia s?han fet incursions en el tema de l?evolució del llenguatge d?especialitat, però no s?hi ha aplicat encara ni la teoria del canvi ni la metodologia de l?anàlisi de la variació. En aquest primer treball s?ofereix una breu presentació dels principals ítems que regulen l?estudi del canvi lingüístic i una síntesi dels principals canvis lèxics (neologia, manlleus, lexicalització i gramaticalització menor), per concloure quins ajustaments teòrics i metodològics convindria introduir i quina mena d?anàlisis caldria engegar per a analitzar els canvis que es puguin incoar i estabilitzar en el discurs d?especialitat. En aquesta primera aproximació s?orienta el tema del canvi cap al discurs mèdic, a causa de la rellevància de la intersecció entre comunicació i salut en la recerca actual
