Morphological evolution of the fringe-belts of Krasnoyarsk

[EN] Urban fringe-belt phenomenon in cities of Siberia hitherto was poorly investigated. Thus, it constitutes an extremely broad research area. Phases and processes of formation, transformation and alienation in urban fringebelts examines at the case of Krasnoyarsk from the 17th to mid 20th centuries. Relation of changes in fringe-belts structure and political and socio-economic contexts is evidently at all periods of their physical formation. Natural fixation lines (topographic features, body of big river, and development of small river valley) and man-made fixation lines (city walls, railway corridor) influenced to the formation and evolution processes of fringe-belts and urban fabric generally. Railway was a turning point in the city expansion and contributed to overcoming of the power natural fixation line as the Yenisei river. Unlike the urban core, right bank of Krasnoyarsk formed as a linear city with specific fringe belts. Detailed analysis of Krasnoyarsk city plan indentifies several morphological units separated by fringe-belts. These fringe-belts are characterized by distinctive road network, variety of land-use units and heterogeneous forms in plan. It presents difficulties for reconstruction projects of modern city. The task of each person who graduates from a Russian university is to find a prestigious job and to move up the career ladder in the future. The airway drift of “Trudovskaya” mine of “DTEK” company was chosen as an object of research because of strong effect of rock pressure and water influence in the excavation. The main forms of rock pressure in the excavation are rock falling from the side and the roof, and intense swelling. The main purpose of numerical simulation is to justify the parameters of the support systems of the excavations, which are exploited in the “Trudovskaya” mine. Fringe belts structure and transition economy : morphological patterns and present-day changes. A case study of Krasnoyarsk, Russia

In Russia, the early 1990s breakup of the USSR emerged plan-to-market shifts in economy and reorganization of the socio-economic system. The time of transition economy includes economic decline, new forms of ownership, insufficiency of legal mechanisms which can regulate the urban land market and proper urban planning documentation. In urban planning, a disconnection between urban management and urban planning has caused spontaneous development. This research aims to study how this period has impacted the functional-spatial structure of Krasnoyarsk’s fringe belts. Certain fragments of inner, middle, and outer fringe belts are analysed through their morphology; and the processes that influence these belts are also described. The outer fringe belt, which appeared in the transition period, in the city periphery, alongside the main transport artery, is still suffering spontaneous dense development. The lack of long-term development plans and a unified system of accounting and land inventory has triggered inconsistency in land matters and land plots ownership identification. All this has depressed the territories of inner and middle fringe belts. Despite their value, their historical parameters and established rights to the land plots obstruct an integrated reconstruction

У статті визначені конкурентні переваги, що формують потенціал України в круїзної індустрії на підставі теоретичних положень М. Портера. Встановлено, що даний сектор економіки має потужний інноваційний потенціал, що є основою для отримання національних конкурентних переваг. Представлені основні детермінанти конкурентних переваг круїзної індустрії, до яких належать: умови для факторів, стан попиту, споріднені та підтримуючі галузі, стратегія, структура і суперництво фірм. В загальну систему детермінант додані її сполучні компоненти, що побічно визначають результативність круїзного бізнесу: державні органи влади транснаціональні корпорації (круїзні оператори), місцеві органи влади, освітні структури. В рамках ефективного функціонування системи виділені її ключові складові, які утворюють певну ланцюг елементів, тісно взаємопов'язаних між собою.In the article are determined the competitive advantages that form the potential of Ukraine in the cruise industry on the basis of theoretical assumptions Porter. Estimated that this sector of the economy has a strong innovative capacity, which is the basis for national competitive advantage. The main determinants of competitive advantage of cruise industry, which include: the conditions for the factors, the state of demand, related and supporting industries, strategy, structure and rivalry between firms. In the overall system determinants added her binders, indirectly determining the impact of cruise business: public authorities, transnational corporations (cruise operators), local government, and educational structures. As part of the effective operation of system its key components are identified, that form a definite chain of elements which are closely interrelated.В статье определены конкурентные преимущества, формирующие потенциал Украины в круизной индустрии на основании теоретических положений М. Портера. Установлено, что данный сектор экономики, имеет мощный инновационный потенциал, являющийся основой для получения национальных конкурентных преимуществ. Представлены основные детерминанты конкурентных преимуществ круизной индустрии, к которым относятся: условия для факторов, состояние спроса, родственные и поддерживающие отрасли, стратегия, структура и соперничество фирм. В общую систему детерминант добавлены её связующие компоненты, косвенно определяющие результативность круизного бизнеса: государственные органы власти транснациональные корпорации (круизные операторы), местные органы власти, образовательные структуры. В рамках эффективного функционирования системы выделены её ключевые составляющие, которые образуют определенную цепь элементов, тесно взаимосвязанных между собой

Applied potential of econometric instrumentation of substantiation of economic decisions within fisheries sector

The article discusses the econometrics potential to substantiate economic decisions aimed at improving the competitiveness of fishery enterprises. The authors specified the definition of the economic category “competitiveness of fishery enterprises” and emphasized the importance of this concept as an indicator of the effectiveness of economic decisions. The paper contains the analysis of indicator methods for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises. The modified graphical indicator method named “competitiveness polygon” is recommended for assessing the competitiveness of fishery enterprises. The method for calculating the area of a competitiveness polygon was improved by replacing the expert method of determining the values of significance coefficients for relevant competitiveness factors with the econometric method by composing a multiple regression equation
