    La enseñanza de habilidades gimnásticas y acrobáticas en la etapa escolar

    El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar cuál es la metodología de trabajo empleada por los docentes que abordan el contenido de habilidades gimnásticas y acrobáticas en sus clases de Educación Física en la Etapa Enseñanza Primaria y Secundaria. Para ello hemos utilizado el Cuestionario para el Análisis de la Enseñanza de Habilidades Gimnásticas y Acrobáticas (C.A.E.H.G.A), analizando una muestra de 91 sujetos. Tras diversos análisis descriptivos de todas las variables y análisis de independencia entre variables mediante las pruebas de Chi cuadrado de Pearson completada con análisis de residuos, las principales conclusiones han sido que para la enseñanza del contenido gimnástico y acrobático, la estrategia de enseñanza analítica es más empleada que la estrategia global, y que la importancia que el docente concede a las ayudas depende de la etapa y del contenido acrobático elegido, dando menor importancia a las ayudas en Enseñanza Primaria que en Secundaria y mayor importancia cuando el contenido trabajado es el acrosport

    Se analiza la obra de Georges Rouy, célebre botánico francés, mediante el estudio de sus materiales así como del tratamiento del género Carex (Cyperaceae) en la Flore de France. Se valora favorablemente el conocimiento que el autor demuestra sobre este género, puesto de manifi esto al incluir subgéneros en la clasifi cación taxonómica. Asimismo la sinonimia que propone para cada nombre y las descripciones de los taxones son muy completas. Al contrario, se valora negativamente la excesiva fragmentación que estableció, pues incluyó demasiadas secciones y subsecciones. Finalmente, su rechazo a utilizar las normas nomenclaturales establecidas por el Código de Nomenclatura Botánica conduce a la confusión e impide que la mayoría de sus nombres sean válidos.The George Rouy’s work, a famous French botanist, is studied by means of his material and literature of the genus Carex (Cyperaceae). We assess positively the knowledge that he demonstrated of this genus; because of the subgenera differentiated in his treatment, besides the complete synonymy presented for each name and the taxa descriptions. But he splitted excessively the infrageneric classifi cation including too many sections and subsections. Finally, most of the names he proposed are invalid because of his rejection of the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature recommendations and rules

    Characterization of Pediococcus ethanolidurans CUPV141: A b-D-glucan- and Heteropolysaccharide-Producing Bacterium

    Pediococcus ethanolidurans CUPV141 is an exopolysaccharide (EPS)-producing lactic acid bacterium, first isolated from Basque Country cider (Spain). Physicochemical analysis of the EPS synthesized by the bacterium revealed that CUPV141 produces mostly a homopolysaccharide (HoPS), characterized as a 2-substituted (1,3)-beta-D-glucan, together with a small quantity of a heteropolysaccharide (HePS) composed of glucose, galactose, glucosamine, and glycerol-3-phosphate, this being the first Pediococcus strain described to produce this kind of polymer. On the contrary, an isogenic strain CUPV141NR, generated by chemical mutagenesis of CUPV141, produced the HePS as the main extracellular polysaccharide and a barely detectable amount of 2-substituted (1,3)-beta-D-glucan. This HoPS is synthesized by the transmembrane GTF glycosyltransferase (GTF), encoded by the gtf gene, which has been previously reported to be located in the pPP2 plasmid of the Pediococcus parvulus 2.6 strain. Southern blot hybridization revealed that in CUPV141 the gtf gene is located in a plasmid designated as pPE3, whose molecular mass (34.4 kbp) is different from that of pPP2 (24.5 kbp). Analysis of the influence of the EPS on the ability of the producing bacteria to adhere to the eukaryotic Caco-2 cells revealed higher affinity for the human enterocytes of CUPV141NR compared to that of CUPV141. This result indicates that, in contrast to the 2.6 strain, the presence of the HoPS does not potentiate the binding ability of P. ethanolidurans. Moreover, it supports that the phosphate-containing bacterial HePS improved the interaction between P. ethanolidurans and the eukaryotic cells.This work was supported by a grant from the Department of Environment, Territorial Planification, Agriculture and Fishing and the project no.     Grid site testing for ATLAS with Hammer Cloud

    With the exponential growth of LHC (Large Hadron Collider) data in 2012, distributed computing has become the established way to analyze collider data. The ATLAS grid infrastructure includes more than 130 sites worldwide, ranging from large national computing centers to smaller university clusters. HammerCloud was previously introduced with the goals of enabling virtual organisations (VO) and site-administrators to run validation tests of the site and software infrastructure in an automated or on-demand manner. The HammerCloud infrastructure has been constantly improved to support the addition of new test workflows. These new workflows comprise e.g. tests of the ATLAS nightly build system, ATLAS Monte Carlo production system, XRootD federation (FAX) and new site stress test workflows. We report on the development, optimization and results of the various components in the HammerCloud framework
