Vortices in a mesoscopic superconducting circular sector

In the present paper we develop an algorithm to solve the time dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) equations, by using the link variables technique, for circular geometries. In addition, we evaluate the Helmholtz and Gibbs free energy, the magnetization, and the number of vortices. This algorithm is applied to a circular sector. We evaluate the superconduting-normal magnetic field transition, the magnetization, and the superconducting density. Furthermore, we study the nucleation of giant and multi-vortex states for that geometry.Comment: One REVTeX file and 8 figure

Study of magnetic and specific heat measurements at low temperatures in Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3 and Nd0.5Ca0.5MnO3

The magnetization at low temperatures for Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3 and Nd0.5Ca0.5MnO3 samples showed a rapid increase with decreasing temperatures, contrary to a La0.5Ca0.5MnO3 sample. Specific heat measurement at low temperatures showed a Schottky-like anomaly for the first two samples. However, there is not a straight forward correlation between the intrinsic magnetic moment of the Nd3+ ions and the Schottky-like anomaly.Comment: To be presented in the 1 Joint European Magnetic Symposia, Grenoble,France (2001). BURNOUT EM TÉCNICOS DE ENFERMAGEM: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA

The objective of the study is to describe the risk factors for the development of Burnout Syndrome in nursing technicians according to the literature. It is a study of narrative review of the literature, the articles were searched in the following databases: Virtual Health Library (VHL); Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), and Virtual Health Library (VHL) through the association of Health Sciences Descriptors (DECS) by the Boolean “and”: Burnout, Role of the Nursing Technician, Occupational Risks. The inclusion criteria were: articles published between the years 2010 to 2020. Based on the above criteria, a total of 17 scientific productions were found. These were analyzed through thematic analysis. The results were presented in three categories: 1) historical context of the Burnout syndrome; 2) Burnout syndrome in nursing staff; 3) coping factors of Burnout syndrome in nursing technicians. Concluded that the SB is a public health problem, since it involves the nursing technicians and many health professionals. In this way, the condition "Can and should be treated" as an occupational disease resulting from a series of factors and variables related to the working condition.O objetivo do estudo é descrever os fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da Síndrome de Burnout em técnicos de enfermagem de acordo com a literatura. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão narrativa da literatura, os artigos foram pesquisados nas seguintes bases de dados: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS); Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) através da associação dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DECS)  pelo booleano “and”: Burnout, Papel do Técnico em Enfermagem, Riscos Ocupacionais. Teve como critérios de inclusão: artigos publicados entre os anos de 2010 a 2020. Com base nos critérios acima, foram encontrados um total de 17 produções científicas. Essas foram analisadas por meio da análise temática. Os resultados foram apresentados em três categorias: 1) contexto histórico da síndrome de Burnout; 2) síndrome de Burnout nos técnicos de enfermagem; 3) fatores de enfrentamento da síndrome de Burnout nos técnicos de enfermagem. Concluísse que a SB é um problema de saúde pública, uma vez que acomete os técnicos de enfermagem e muitos profissionais da área de saúde. Desta forma, o agravo “Pode e deve ser tratada” como uma doença ocupacional resultante de uma série de fatores e variáveis relacionadas com a condição de trabalho

Vortex-Antivortex annihilation dynamics in a square mesoscopic superconducting cylinder

The dynamics of the annihilation of a vortex-antivortex pair is investigated. The pair is activated magnetically during the run of a simulated hysteresis loop on a square mesoscopic superconducting cylinder with an antidot inserted at its center. We study the nucleation of vortices and antivortices by first increasing the magnetic field, applied parallel to the axis of the sample, from zero until the first vortex is created. A further increase of the field pulls the vortex in, until it reaches the antidot. As the polarity of the field is reversed, an antivortex enters the scene, travels toward the center of the sample and eventually the pair is annihilated. Depending on the sample size, its temperature, and Ginzburg-Landau parameter, the vortex-antivortex encounter takes place at the antidot or at the superconducting sea around it. The position and velocity of the vortex and antivortex singularities were evaluated as a function of time. The current density, magnetization and order parameter topology were also calculated.Comment: One REVTeX file and 5 EPS figure

Magnetic relaxation and magnetization field dependence measurements in La0.5Ca0.5MnO3

We reported a systematic change in the average magnetic relaxation rate, after the application and removal of a 5 T magnetic field, in a polycrystalline sample of La0.5Ca0.5MnO3. Magnetic relaxation measurements and magnetization versus field curves were taken from 10 K to 160 K. The long time behavior of the relaxation curves was approximately logarithmic in all cases. A Gauchidade Midiática no RS: Apontamentos sobre a Cultura Regional na Mídia

RESUMONeste trabalho buscamos apresentar experiências midiáticas que tematizam a gauchidade circulante nas cidades do Estado, aproximando mídia e cultura regional, além de traçar um panorama sobre o surgimento da televisão no estado do RS e a influência dos programadores locais. Podemos inferir que a gauchidade midiática é um fen&ocric;meno vivo, dinâmico e cambiante, que permite a cada um personalizar sua prática, corporalizar, a seu modo, o seu pertencimento, o seu sentimento, o seu apego e a sua memória. Contudo, fica evidente que este fen&ocric;meno se enaltece no mês de setembro, período em que as mídias e os sujeitos demonstram seu envolvimento com a cultura regional das mais diversas formas.Palavras-chave: Gauchidade midiática; Cultura regional; Mídia; Televisão RESUMENEn este trabajo tratamos de presentar experiencias mediaticas que traen la gauchidad circulante en las ciudades del Estado, además de hacer una contextualización sobre el surgimiento de la televisión en el estado del RS, Brasil, y la influencia de los programadores locales. Podemos concluir que la gauchidad mediatica es un fenómeno vivo, dinámico y cambiante, que permite a cada uno personalizar su práctica, incorporar, a su modo, su pertenecer, su sentimiento, su apego y su memoria. Sin embargo, es evidente que este fenámeno aumenta en el mes de septiembre, periodo en que los media y los sujetos muestran su involucramiento con la cultura regional de las más distintas maneras.Palabras clave: Gauchidad Mediática; Cultura regional; Media; Televisión. ABSTRACTIn this work we try to presenting mediatic experiences that explore the “gauchidade” (a regional culture) in the cities of Rio Grange do Sul, in addition to make a panorama about the emergence of television in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and the influence of local television producers. Thus, we concluded that the exploring of ‘gauchidade’ in the media is a dynamic and changeable phenomenon that allows people to personalize their practice, embody the culture they belong in their way and demonstrate their feeling, their affection and memories.
