This article stemmed from oral accounts about the Chacororé Bay, collected in fieldresearches, in the Pantanal mato-grossense-MT, in the region of Barão de Melgaço. Through the fluencyof the voice, the memory of the Pantanal communities, and of the waters, a map is obtained that goesbeyond the geographical lines, the data and the natural elements. Chacororé is an enchanted bay.TheChacororé waters, in the Pantanal dwellers’ imaginary and popular culture, seem to belong and be twodistinct universes at the same time. The intersectional shaping of the enchantment, between natural andsupernatural, also reaches the beings and myths that live in the Chacororé. In many cases, the imaginarybeings are noticed in this intersection and are given a physical materiality

A memória ancestral como elemento identitário na poesia de Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy

Consideramos que a memória ancestral indígena é também elemento de reafirmação de identidades, essas memórias são transmitidas há séculos, de geração a geração, por sistemas orais, de educação coletiva, de integração entre homem e natureza. A partir dessas premissas, propusemos este trabalho que faz parte da pesquisa de doutorado em andamento intitulada: Representações, contraposições e poder na literatura indígena brasileira e na literatura indígena colombiana, no Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos de Cultura Contemporânea pela na Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso - Campus de Cuiabá. Para este artigo temos como objetivo central evidenciar aspectos temáticos que representem a memória e ancestralidade como elementos identitários latentes na poética do escritor indígena colombiano Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy, que se autodenomina Camuents̈a, um povo que está localizado na região do Vale de Sibundoy no departamento de Putumayo - Colômbia. A base metodológica deste trabalho é de cunho bibliográfica, portanto, foram selecionados alguns poemas do livro Danzantes del viento: poesía bilingüe(2010) que compuseram as análises, além de uma revisão teórica sobre os conceitos: memória, ancestralidade e identidades. Concluímos que a poética de Juagibioy traz a luz as vozes indígenas que também chegam aos não indígenas, evidenciando o quanto estes andam longe e desprovidos de seu tempos-lugares ancestrais e o quanto ainda negam suas raízes.]Palavras-chave: memória, ancestralidade, identidades, poesia indígena colombian

APRESENTEÇÃO

Este número 9 da Revista Polifonia implicitamente reflete, na sua estrutura e organização, um percurso e uma história do próprio Instituto de Linguagens da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. Criada em meados dos anos 90, a Revista, sendo produzida pelo departamento de Letras, destinava-se, preferencialmente, ao público desta Área, o que configurava uma situação acadêmica de distanciamento entre os três departamentos (Artes/Letras/Comunicação Social)

NOS ARREDORES DO FANTÁSTICO MATOGROSSENSE: O BERRO DE TEREZA

Este artigo investiga a presença dos elementos fantásticos no romance O Berro do Cordeiro em Nova York, da escritora Tereza Albues. A autora constrói o seu fantástico particular em que o homem é um ser estranho para si mesmo e que o outro é um abismo e com isso o fantástico invade a alma humana e inunda o mundo cotidiano. Nesta obra percebemos uma recorrência marcante de aspectos sobrenaturalizados, supra-humanos e epifânicos que convivem no mesmo ambiente narrativo através da intromissão brutal do mistério (sempre com elementos místicos e esotéricos)

D. FRANCISCO DE AQUINO CORRÊA E A DIVINIZAÇÃO DA TERRA MATOGROSSENSE

O presente trabalho tem por finalidade analisar a obra de D. Aquino Corrêa, especificamente “Terra Natal”, cuja característica é a exaltação dos valores regionais, tais como natureza e tradição, evidenciando aspectos relativos à divinização do local. Para tanto é necessário estabelecer os valores de identidade regional no período em que surgiu o livro, contextualizando-o ao projeto cultural que os intelectuais idealizavam em Mato-Grosso. Desta forma, as pesquisas realizadas, que discutem a proposta do poeta, nortearão o trabalho; portanto, procurar-se-á refletir o imaginário mítico sagrado que a poesia romântica imprime em seu discurso sob a égide da glorificação

ATLANTIC EPIPHYTES: a data set of vascular and non-vascular epiphyte plants and lichens from the Atlantic Forest

Epiphytes are hyper-diverse and one of the frequently undervalued life forms in plant surveys and biodiversity inventories. Epiphytes of the Atlantic Forest, one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world, have high endemism and radiated recently in the Pliocene. We aimed to (1) compile an extensive Atlantic Forest data set on vascular, non-vascular plants (including hemiepiphytes), and lichen epiphyte species occurrence and abundance; (2) describe the epiphyte distribution in the Atlantic Forest, in order to indicate future sampling efforts. Our work presents the first epiphyte data set with information on abundance and occurrence of epiphyte phorophyte species. All data compiled here come from three main sources provided by the authors: published sources (comprising peer-reviewed articles, books, and theses), unpublished data, and herbarium data. We compiled a data set composed of 2,095 species, from 89,270 holo/hemiepiphyte records, in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, recorded from 1824 to early 2018. Most of the records were from qualitative data (occurrence only, 88%), well distributed throughout the Atlantic Forest. For quantitative records, the most common sampling method was individual trees (71%), followed by plot sampling (19%), and transect sampling (10%). Angiosperms (81%) were the most frequently registered group, and Bromeliaceae and Orchidaceae were the families with the greatest number of records (27,272 and 21,945, respectively). Ferns and Lycophytes presented fewer records than Angiosperms, and Polypodiaceae were the most recorded family, and more concentrated in the Southern and Southeastern regions. Data on non-vascular plants and lichens were scarce, with a few disjunct records concentrated in the Northeastern region of the Atlantic Forest. For all non-vascular plant records, Lejeuneaceae, a family of liverworts, was the most recorded family. We hope that our effort to organize scattered epiphyte data help advance the knowledge of epiphyte ecology, as well as our understanding of macroecological and biogeographical patterns in the Atlantic Forest.
