    Classificazione ecologica territoriale e serie di vegetazione: i querceti termofili del settore Tirrenico dell’Appennino centrale.

    Obiettivo di questo lavoro è proporre e testare una metodologia per la delimitazione, il campionamento e la definizione delle serie di vegetazione. La metodologia viene applicata nel settore appenninico dell’Italia centrale per definire le serie di vegetazione dei querceti a Quercus virgiliana e Q. pubescens. La delimitazione degli ambiti territoriali di pertinenza di queste serie (unità ambientali) è stata effettuata tramite la classificazione ecologica territoriale, il cui obiettivo è l’individuazione di aree ecologicamente omogenee. Le unità ambientali, individuate tramite l’integrazione in ambiente GIS delle informazioni climatiche, litologiche e morfologiche, sono state utilizzate come base per la stratificazione del campionamento fitosociologico della vegetazione. Per testare la validità del campionamento, l’insieme dei rilievi effettuati è stato sottoposto a “Permutation multivariate Analysis of Variance”, effettuata sui dati delle specie di tutti i rilievi, raggruppati in base all’unità ambientale di appartenenza. Per definire le serie in termini sinecologici, sindinamici e sintassonomici i rilievi delle comunità forestali, arbustive ed erbacee, sono stati sottoposti a tecniche di analisi multivariata. Nonostante la tappa matura delle serie analizzate sia rappresentata da foreste fisionomicamente simili e con distribuzione ridotta, l’integrazione dell’approccio fitosociologico e della classificazione ecologica ha permesso di individuare 5 serie di vegetazione, ciascuna con una combinazione unica di stadi dinamici, la cui composizione specifica riflette la diversità ecologica delle unità ambientali individuate. Si sottolinea, dunque, l’importanza della stratificazione del campionamento fitosociologico tramite le unità ambientali, in quanto strumento efficace sia per la classificazione e caratterizzazione ecologica delle comunità vegetali, che per la ricostruzione delle serie di vegetazione

    En el presente trabajo nos proponemos describir y analizar los modelos de interacción en una de las instancias de formación específica ofrecidas en el Campus Virtual del Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. Para ello describimos tres recursos utilizados: el foro, la base de datos y el Google Drive y analizamos la interacción en cada uno. Observamos que descentralizar la interacción promueve la construcción colaborativa de conocimiento a la vez que favorece el desarrollo de competencias complementarias, tales como la posibilidad de brindar y recibir feedback, tomar decisiones, producir colaborativamente, centrales en la educación permanente de adultos. Asimismo, esta descentralización genera desafíos y oportunidades de desarrollo profesional docente respecto de los conocimientos requeridos, de la disponibilidad para estar presente en el espacio educativo y la facilitación del aprendizaje.Dirección de Educación a Distancia, Innovación en el aula y TIC (EAD

    Monitoring and assessing old-growth forest stands by plot sampling

    Forest inventories are evolving towards multipurpose resource surveys, broadening their scope by including additional topics such as biodiversity issues. Surprisingly, few quantitative surveys have been devoted to old-growth forests, even if they constitute the most acknowledged forest biodiversity icons. In this framework, the use of probabilistic sampling may provide an effective as well as rigorous support for monitoring and assessing old-growth forests. To this purpose, the present paper proposes a two-phase sampling scheme. In the first phase, a coarse survey of few floristic and stand structural attributes is carried out by means of small plots systematically placed on the study area. Subsequently, in the second phase, a fine assessment of a large number of ecological attributes is performed on a subset of enlarged plots selected among the first-phase ones by means of simple random sampling without replacement. The proposed sampling scheme is implemented for monitoring and assessing the old forests of Cilento National Park (southern Italy). Izdelano je bilo 249 fitocenoloških popisov, ki so bili obdelani z multivariantimi metodami. Ugotovljenih je bilo 13 gozdnih združb, od katerih jih 7 uvrščamo v red Quercetalia pubescenti-petraeae, 1 v red Fagetalia sylvaticae, 1 v red Populetalia in 4 v red Quercetalia ilicis. Termofilni cerovi gozdovi, ki jih najdemo v gričevnatem svetu pogorja Ceriti in se razvijejo na flišu v pogorju Tolfa, so vključeni v asociacijo Rubio pereginae-Quercetum cerridis ass. nova. Gozdovi cera (Quercus cerris) in ozkolistnega jesena (Fraxinus angustifolia subsp. oxycarpa) na vznožjih so uvrščeni v združbo Fraxino oxycarpae-Quercetum cerridis, medtem ko so široko razširjeni mezofilni cerovi gozdovi uvrščeni v združbo Melico-Quercetum cerridis. Združba Cephalanthero longifoliae-Quercetum cerridis je razširjena le na grušču na kislih in oligotrofnih tleh. Gradnovi gozdovi, ki se pojavljajo na trahičnem substratu, so uvrščeni v novo asociacijo Carici olbiensis-Quercetum petraeae. Vsi obravnavani mešani hrastovi gozdovi so vključeni v zvezo Crataego laevigatae-Quercion cerridis Arrigoni 1997; poleg tega pa obravnavamo tudi starejše ime Teucrio siculi-Quercion cerridis Ubaldi 1988. Bukove gozdove, ki se pojavljajo na večjih nadmorskih višinah, uvrščamo v združbo Fraxino orni-Fagetum sylvaticae, medtem ko jelševe gozdove, ki jih najdemo po grapah, uvrščamo v novo asociacijo Polysticho setiferi-Alnetum glutinosae. Ugotovili smo tudi sekundarni združbi, in sicer na flišu združbo trokrpega javorja (Acer monspessulanum) in maklena (Acer campestre) ter na trahičnem substratu združbo drevesaste rese (Erica arborea) in jagodičnice (Arbutus unedo) – Erico-Arbutetum unedonis. Ugotovili smo tudi dva tipa gozdov črničevja (Quercus ilex): Cyclamino repandi- Quercetum ilicis na peščenjakih in novo asociacijo Arbuto unedeonis-Quercetum ilicis ass. nova na vulkanskih tleh, ki jo lahko obravnavamo kot cenološko in geografsko vikariantno združbo združbe Erico-Quercetum ilicis, ki jo najdemo na Siciliji
