Effect of diets supplemented with different conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers on protein expression in C57/BL6 mice
The individual genetic variations, as a response to diet, have recently caught the attention of several researchers. In addition, there is also a trend to assume food containing beneficial substances, or to supplement food with specific compounds. Among these, there is the conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which has been demonstrated to reduce fat mass and to increase lean mass, even though its mechanism of action is still not known. We investigated the effect of CLA isomers (CLA c9,t11 and CLA t10,c12) on the proteomic profile of liver, adipose tissue, and muscle of mouse, with the aim of verifying the presence of a modification in fat and lean mass, and to explore the mechanism of action
Analytical and numerical study of the ground-track resonances of Dawn orbiting Vesta
The aim of Dawn mission is the acquisition of data from orbits around two
bodies, (4)Vesta and (1)Ceres, the two most massive asteroids. Due to the low
thrust propulsion, Dawn will slowly cross and transit through ground-track
resonances, where the perturbations on Dawn orbit may be significant. In this
context, to safety go the Dawn mission from the approach orbit to the lowest
science orbit, it is essential to know the properties of the crossed
resonances. This paper analytically investigates the properties of the major
ground-track resonances (1:1, 1:2, 2:3 and 3:2) appearing for Vesta orbiters:
location of the equilibria, aperture of the resonances and period at the stable
equilibria. We develop a general method using an averaged Hamiltonian
formulation with a spherical harmonic approximation of the gravity field. If
the values of the gravity field coefficient change, our method stays correct
and applicable. We also discuss the effect of one uncertainty on the C20 and
C22 coefficients on the properties of the 1:1 resonance. These results are
checked by numerical tests. We determine that the increase of the eccentricity
appearing in the 2:3 resonance is due to the C22 and S22 coefficients.
Our method can be easily adapted to missions similar to Dawn because,
contrarily to the numerical results, the analytical formalism stays the same
and is valid for a wide range of physical parameters of the asteroid (namely
the shape and the mass) as well as for different spacecraft orbits.
Finally we numerically study the probability of the capture in resonance 1:1.
Our paper reproduces, explains and supplements the results of Tricarico and
Sykes (2010).Comment: 34 pages, 9 figures, 10 Table

ABSTRACT
Human life cannot be separated from economic activities, one of
which is the goldfish cultivation business which has quite large
opportunities. Yuniarum Fatin Laili(2020) "analysis of factors that
influence the incomeof batik center MSMEs in Pekalongan City in her
research states that capital, labor, education, length of business" have
a positive and significant effect on the income of Batik Center MSMEs
in Pekalongan City. The first factor is that capital often has abig
influence on a business, including freshwater fish cultivation, which
can have an impact on the emergence of other problems. Apart from
that, the length of business is also a factor where the longera trader is
in his business, his knowledge will alsoincrease and he will have
regular customers (subscribers) who every day the trader sells fish to
them (consumers). The problem in this research is what factors can
influence the income of freshwater fish cultivation business owners
from an Islamic Economics perspective. The aim of this research is to
find out the Islamic Economics view regarding the analysis of factors
that influence the income level of aquatic fish farming businesses.
The method in thisresearch is qualitative research, where the type of

Implementing an LGBTQ Training for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Facilitators
Teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections remain a major health concern and are linked to a number of poor outcomes. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) youth are particularly at risk for these issues. Although evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention (TPP) programs exist, they are not necessarily tailored to meet the needs of LGBTQ youth. This paper reports on the development and implementation of a LGBTQ training for TPP facilitators working for the Augusta Partnership for Children in Augusta, GA. The four-hour workshop covered a range of topics including terminology, identity, intersectionality, and risk/resilience factors through a combination of lecture, video clips, and interactive activities. The training was well-received with most facilitators rating the training as excellent on satisfaction surveys completed one-week after the training. Qualitative comments were also largely positive; areas for improvement included discussion of the legal context around LGBTQ issues and the impact of race on LGBTQ issues. Future work is needed to expand on these findings by examining the impact of such trainings on TPP program implementation and, ultimately, on LGBTQ youth

The mass-metallicity-kinematics relation of the stellar components of EAGLE galaxies
In this work, we study the stellar mass -- stellar metallicity relation as a function of the morpho-kinematics of galaxies in {\sc{eagle}} cosmological simulations. According to our findings, at a given stellar mass (), stellar metallicity shows a secondary dependence on the morpho-kinematics of galaxies, which is more evident towards high masses. At the high-mass end (), dispersion-supported systems show lower metallicities, on average. In addition, low-mass galaxies with higher rotational support are somewhat more metal-poor. More massive galaxies tend to exhibit flatter morphologies, being prolate systems less metal-enriched, on average. As the redshift increases, those aforementioned dependences of metallicity on kinematics and morphology tend to become stronger at high masses. These trends are consistent with the dependences of the stellar mass -- gas-phase metallicity relation on gas fraction, star formation rate and stellar age, and the relation of the latter quantities with galaxy morpho-kinematics.Fil: Zenocratti, Lucas Jesús. Study of Electrochemical and Biological Characteristics of As-Cast Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta System Based on Its Microstructure
[EN] The quaternary Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta (TNZT) alloy was successfully cast-fabricated with the objective to be used in the medical field. Samples' microstructure was compared to CP-Ti and Ti-6Al-4V (control
samples) and related to corrosion, ion release and biological properties. As-cast TNZT was formed with large grain sizes (285 m) compared to the ultrafine grain sizes of CP-Ti (11 m) and the
+ ultrafine grain sizes of 1.45 m and 0.74 m. Hardness and flexural elastic moduli (94 HV and 43 GPa) came close to the biological structures, such as dentin and enamel values. The ion release mechanism of as-cast TNZT was significantly lesser than CP-Ti and Ti-6Al-4V, which can be related to the difference in samples¿ grain sizes and chemical compositions. However, the corrosion rate
was higher than for the control samples; this way offers corrosion properties inferior with respect to the properties obtained in the reference materials. Biological assays demonstrated that the two-cell
(hDPSCs and MG-63) lineage studied presented good adhesion and capability to differentiate in bone cells on the as-cast TNZT surface, and no cytotoxicity effects were found. Details and reasons based
on samples¿ microstructure are discussed. The authors thank the Spanish Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad for Research Project RTI2018-097810-B-I00 and the European Commission for FEDER funds.Correa Rossi, M.; Navarro, B.; Milian Medina, L.; Vicente-Escuder, Á.; Amigó, V. Guidelines for the monitoring of Rosalia alpina
Rosalia alpina (Linnaeus, 1758) is a large longhorn beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) which is protected by the Habitats Directive and which typically inhabits beech forests characterised by the presence of mature, dead (or moribund) and sun-exposed trees. A revision of the current knowledge on systematics, ecology and conservation of R. alpina is reported. The research was carried out as part of the LIFE MIPP project which aims to find a standard monitoring method for saproxylic beetles protected in Europe. For monitoring this species, different methods were tested and compared in two areas of the Apennines, utilising wild trees, logs and tripods (artificially built with beech woods), all potentially suitable for the reproduction of the species. Even if all methods succeeded in the survey of the target species, these results showed that the use of wild trees outperformed other methods. Indeed, the use of wild trees allowed more adults to be observed and required less intensive labour. However, monitoring the rosalia longicorn on wild trees has the main disadvantage that they can hardly be considered “standard sampling units”, as each tree may be differently attractive to adults. Our results demonstrated that the most important factors influencing the attraction of single trunks were wood volume, sun-exposure and decay stage. Based on the results obtained during the project LIFE MIPP, as well as on a literature review, a standard monitoring method for R. alpina was developed
Pentaplex PCR as screening assay for jellyfish species identification in food product
Salted jellyfish, a traditional food in Asian Countries, is nowadays spreading on the Western markets. In this work, we developed a Pentaplex PCR for the identification of five edible species (Nemopilema nomurai, Rhopilema esculentum, Rhizostoma pulmo, Pelagia noctiluca, and Cotylorhiza tuberculata), which cannot be identified by a mere visual inspection in jellyfish products sold as food. A common degenerated forward primer and five specie-specific reverse primers were designed to amplify COI gene regions of different lengths. Another primer pair targeted the 28SrRNA gene and was intended as common positive reaction control. Considering the high level of degradation in the DNA extracted from acidified and salted products, the maximum length of the amplicons was set at 200 bp. The PCR was developed using 66 reference DNA samples. It gave successful amplifications in 85.4% of 48 ready to eat products (REs) and in 60% of 30 classical salted products (CPs) collected on the market
