The Discipline Based Art Education is one of the pedagogic tendencies that the teaching staffhave to give lectures about artistic subjets. Por the study of those subjects we have Jnany organizational tools. This anide presenís Ihe recomnmendation of using the Elaboration Theory of Instruction created by Reigeluth, as an organizational stra-tegy in the subjecís related to art education based on thefact of the rnany comon issues between both theories, issues that make the author consider the Elaboration Theory of Instruction as the best organitazional toolfor the Discipline Based Art Education.
Since computers have been introduced in the Education and spare time of children's life, the activities of children have changed in a very special direction. In this paper we analyse the advantages and disadvantages of computers in Children's Art Education, from a pedagogical point of view, and the possibilities in this field to which Children are accustomed, due to their fascination with machines and new technologies. We center our study on items such as multimedia and interactivity, plus a short review of Children's Museums in Internet. We will expose the situation of the development of computers in the fleld of Children's Art Education in Spain. Arte. Individuo y Sociedad, n.' 8. Servicio de Publicaciones. Universidad Complutense.
Latin America ages. It does so very quickly, in unhealthy conditions and with low-income levels. In the coming decades, the number of older people who will not be able to perform their daily life activities on their own will increase rapidly. This phenomenon has already been faced by rich countries over the past three decades. But unlike them, the region does not have the resources or social protection systems of these countries. Thinking and planning health policies associated with this phenomenon should be a priority of Latin American governments. This communication discusses the main work carried out on the subject: the diagnosis of the region, current policy trends, pilot programs in Chile and the National Care System of Uruguay

Charge self-consistent dynamical mean-field theory based on the full-potential linear muffin-tin orbital method: methodology and applications
Full charge self-consistence (CSC) over the electron density has been
implemented into the local density approximation plus dynamical mean-field
theory (LDA+DMFT) scheme based on a full-potential linear muffin-tin orbital
method (FP-LMTO). Computational details on the construction of the electron
density from the density matrix are provided. The method is tested on the
prototypical charge-transfer insulator NiO using a simple static Hartree-Fock
approximation as impurity solver. The spectral and ground state properties of
bcc Fe are then addressed, by means of the spin-polarized T-matrix fluctuation
exchange solver (SPTF). Finally the permanent magnet SmCo is studied using
multiple impurity solvers, SPTF and Hubbard I, as the strength of the local
Coulomb interaction on the Sm and Co sites are drastically different. The
developed CSC-DMFT method is shown to in general improve on materials
properties like magnetic moments, electronic structure and the materials
density.Comment: 10 pages, 5 figure
