Estrategias eficientes de inversión y gestión del riesgo en mercados bursátiles

En este trabajo se estudian diferentes estrategias de optimización de carteras de inversión en mercados bursátiles incluyendo nuevas herramientas de análisis, visualización y desarrollo. Se eligen las cotizaciones diarias de las empresas que componen el IBEX-35 en una ventana de 3 años. Tras realizar un análisis descriptivo, se plantea el célebre modelo de Markowitz de optimización de carteras de inversión, usando como medida de riesgo el estimador clásico de la varianza. Se consideran modificaciones de este modelo con diferentes estimaciones de la varianza, como son la estimación robusta y la semivarianza. Además se presenta una alternativa al modelo estático de optimización a través de la aplicación dinámica de Markowitz para estudiar la evolución en el tiempo de las rentabilidades y riesgos. This paper gathers the samples of piety towards indigenous divinities showed by the soldiers belonging to the exercitus hispanicus through the epigraphy. Embodied authorship in feminist and queer zines in the Iberian Peninsula

The concept of authorship has been profusely contended and addressed during the last decades. Roland Barthes declared the author dead in 1967, but since then, new approaches, ideas, and reflections have prolonged the discussion until the present day. This chapter proposes to navigate through authorship studies in order to examine authorship practices in zines. The Do-It-Yourself movement has always moved through non-conventional authorship, but the paradigm of the zine has changed in the last decades. The popularity of self-publishing also has changed how these practices are understood. Specifically, I will focus on feminist and queer zines within the Iberian Peninsula. The selected object delimitates the study, and, furthermore, it provides the epistemology and methodology to the chapter. A feminist and queer theoretical approach will be fundamental to understand the embodied authorship that has surfaced in these zines.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Problematizing the methodology: challenges, conflicts, and contradictions in the study of queer-feminist zines in the Iberian Peninsula

My research project studies feminist and queer zines inside academia during the last decades of the Twentieth Century and the beginning of Twenty-first Century in Spain and Portugal. When I started the research some of the conflicts and contradictions were immediately revealed. The necessity of definition of my study object, the process of recollecting zines, the legitimacy of building-up an investigation like this inside the academia... all of these raise controversial questions that the research needs to address. Thus, it was imperative to think about the approach and how to address the methodology. Influence of infill and nozzle diameter on porosity of FDM printed parts with rectilinear grid pattern

The aim of the paper is to analyze the effect of nozzle diameter and infill on porosity and pore size of FDM printed specimens with rectilinear grid pattern. Two different nozzle diameters (0.2 and 0.4 mm), as well as four different infill values (20 %, 40 %, 60 % and 80 %) were used. Experimental results for pore size agree with theoretical results. On the contrary, low experimental porosity was obtained, especially for high infill values, because printed samples show fewer pores than expected. The higher infill, the lower porosity and pore size. Higher nozzle diameter implies higher pore size but similar porosity.Postprint (published version

Chiroptical Spectroscopy of C3 Molecules

The relevance of molecules with C3 symmetry comes from the fact of many of them, upon assembling as columnar helical macromolecules, are ideal platform for electro-optical devices, for example as liquid crystals. The properties of these devices are highly dependent of the structure of the bulk aggregates, and consequently they can be controlled by modifying the position and nature of the stereocenters in the molecular building blocks.
