    Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pengembang di SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo, selama kegiatan pembelajaran Biologi materi sistem imun, siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru, dikarenakan materi sistem imun berisi proses-proses mekanisme imunitas yang sifatnya tidak dapat diamati siswa secara langsung, karena terjadi secara fisiologis di dalam tubuh manusia. Sedangkan guru menjelaskan mengenai proses-proses tersebut hanya dijelaskan secara lisan. Serta terbatasnya sumber belajar siswa dan guru yang hanya berpedoman pada lembar kerja siswa, sedangkan dalam buku lembar kerja siswa sendiri tidak banyak ilustrasi gambar yang dapat menjelaskan proses tersebut. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh materi Sistem Imun yang merupakan materi pembelajaran baru yang dimasukkan ke dalam kurikulum mata pelajaran Biologi SMA Kelas 11 IPA pada tahun 2009. Oleh karena itu, guru Biologi masih mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pada siswa. Berdasarkan beberapa masalah tersebut, mendasari pengembang untuk mengembangkan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) berbasis Android di SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media CAI berbasis Android tentang sistem imun pada mata pelajaran Biologi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Research Research and Development (R&D), dikarenakan setiap langkahnya jelas dan efisien dalam pelaksanaannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) sampai dengan tahap delapan diperoleh data kualitatif hasil uji validasi, ahli materi I diperoleh setuju dan tanpa revisi, ahli materi II diperoleh sangat setuju dan tanpa revisi, ahli media I diperoleh setuju dan tanpa revisi, ahli media II diperoleh setuju dan tanpa revisi, sedangkan hasil kuantitatif uji coba perorangan diperoleh 78,33% (kategori baik), uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh 81,22% (kategori baik sekali), hasil uji coba kelompok besar (lapangan) diperoleh 81,16% (kategori baik sekali). Berdasarkan analisis data nilai rata-rata post test (81,5) lebih besar daripada nilai rata-rata pre test (45,67). Sedangkan hasil perhitungan dengan taraf signifikan 5%, db = N-1 = 30-1= 29, sehingga diperoleh t tabel 2,045. Jadi t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 5,083 > 2,045, dengan demikian perbedaan hasil pre-test dan post-test tersebut dinyatakan signifikan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) berbasis Android layak dan efektif dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran Biologi tentang sistem imun kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo. While the teacher explains the processes are only described verbally. And the limited learning resources students and teachers are only based on student worksheet, while the student worksheets themselves are not a lot of illustrations that can explain the process. It is influenced by the materi immune system which is a new learning materi are incorporated into the curriculum subjects High School Biology Class 11 Sains in 2009. Therefore, Biology teachers are still experiencing difficulties in the process of learning in students. Based on some of those problems, the underlying developers to develop media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) based Android on SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo. This development aims to produce media CAI on based Android materi the immune system in the subject of Biology which is expected to improve student learning outcomes. The development method used is the model of development of Research Research and Development (R & D), because each step is clear and efficient implementation. Based on the results of research in the Research and Development (R & D) to stage eight data showed qualitative results of the validation test, the professional person in materi I obtained excellent agreement and without revision, the professional person in materi II obtained excellent strongly agree and without revision, the professional person in media I obtained excellent agreement and without revision, the professional person in media II obtained excellent agreement and without revision, while the quantitative results the individual trying report obtained 88.4% (good category), the trying report of small group obtained 80.90% (excellent category), the trying report of great group (field) obtained 82.95% (excellent category). Based on the data analysis of the average value of post test (81,5) is greater than the value of the average pre-test (45,67). While the results of the calculation with significant standart of 5%, db = N-1 = 30-1 = 29, so obtained t table 2,045. So tarithmetic is greater than ttable is 5,083 > 2,045, thus the differences in the pre-test and post-test is deemed significant. It can be concluded that the development of media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) based Android feasible and effective in teaching and learning process in the subject of Biology of the immune system in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tarik Sidoarjo.     Analisis Karakteristik Minyak Kedelai Dengan Penambahan Antioksidan Sebagai Alternatif Minyak Isolasi Transformator Terhadap Tegangan Tembus

    With the addition of the antioxidant butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and phenol, it affects the breakdown voltage characteristics of soybean oil as an alternative to transformer insulating oil. This test varied the addition of BHA by 2%, 3%, and 4%, and variations in the addition of phenol by 2%, 3%, and 4%. Samples were prepared with a volume of 500 ml. Mixing soybean oil with BHA and PHENOLS by heating and stirring using a magnetic stirrer. The test was carried out using an AC high voltage ball butt system and the gap between the balls was 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3 mm. From the results of this test, it was found that the average VBD of pure soybean oil was 8.0 kV at a ball spacing of 2.5 mm. but at a concentration of 2% BHA, the breakdown voltage value is 8.3 kV, an increase of 0.3 kV, from the average pure soybean oil. Whereas at a concentration of 3% there was a decrease of 0.9 kV, and at the addition of 2%, 3% and 4% phenolic concentrations it always increased steadily. The highest average breakdown voltage was found in the addition of 2% phenol of 30.8 kV or an increase of 22.8 kV from the average pure soybean oil.     Marine Tourism Sustainability Development in Marine Recreational Park Anambas Island

    Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands contain marine resources that can be developed for ma-rine tourism activities. For the above purpose, a study is needed to assess the potential of the islands. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the sustainability potential of marine tourism on Man-tang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands and (2) to determine the policy and strategy to develop marine tourism in Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands. Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) with Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of Ecotourism approach was used for the sustainability analysis of the marine tourism potential in both islands. The results showed that the sustainability status of marine tourism potential on Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands for A dimension (ecology) was in ave-rage of 50.4592 within the category of sustainable, for B dimension (socio-economic) with average of 31.6113 within the category of less sustainable, and C dimension (institutional-technology) with ave-rage of 32.5581 wihtin the category of less sustainable. For the succes of the strategy development, B dimension should be prioritized and followed by B and C dimensions

    THEMATIC PROGRESSION ANALYSIS IN INDONESIAN EFL STUDENTS THESIS ABSTRACTS

    This study examines thematic progression in thesis abstracts written by English students in Indonesia University of Education. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method since it attempts to describe and analyze textual data accurately. The data for this study come from repository.upi.edu. Five undergraduate students thesis abstracts were downloaded from the website published in 2014. After gathering the data, a thematic progression theory proposed by Fries (2002) is employed to analyze the data. Findings show that constant theme is the type of thematic progression that is mostly used the thesis abstracts by 52.64%. The linear theme and split rheme thematic progression pattern are also found in the abstracts. However, split rheme is found only once. Among the problems the students have probably encountered are how to write a coherent abstract and to create an appropriate logical relation among sentences in their writing. This study concludes that the students thesis abstracts mostly use constant theme pattern, which suggests their writing is not quite well-arranged. Since an abstract should be written in more or less 200 words and it should represent the important information of the research, students may be confused as to how to summarize their research into 200 words

    Kajian Formulasi Pembuatan Creambath Berbasis Minyak Kemiri

    Biji kemiri dapat diformulasikan sebagai creambath untuk melembabkan kulit kepala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pengembangan formulasi dan pemanfaatan tanaman biji kemiri (Aleurites Moluccana L. Wild) sebagai bahan kosmetik yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan sangat diminati banyak negara luar, salah satunya yaitu sebagai pembuatan creambath. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat sediaan creambath terbanyak di dapat pada sampel 16 dengan waktu pengadukan selama 8 menit dengan volume minyak 12,5 yaitu seberat 168,72 gram. Dan hasil produk creambath yang terkecil terdapat pada waktu pengadukan selama 2 menit dengan volume minyak 5% yaitu 98,43.5. Berdasarkan uji pH yang terdapat pada sediaan creambath di peroleh yaitu 6,3-7,5, nilai pH pada masing-masing creambath tersebut berada pada kisaran nilai pH yang terdapat pada SNI 16-4399-1996. Hasil uji organoleptik diperoleh standarisasi organoleptik creambath pada konsentrasi volume minyak 12,5% dengan waktu pengadukan selama 8 menit. Berdasarkan uji homogenitas waktu pengadukan 6-8 menit pada volume 5%-12% sediaan creambath yang   dihasilkan terbentuk sempurna (homogen). Dan pada hasil pengamatan stabilitas terhadap creambath pada suhu kamar 25oC dan suhu 35 oC creambath tidak mengalami perubahan tekstur warna dan bau.

    Abstrak: Karya musik “Radakngku Langit” merupakan aktualisasi pengalaman estetik penulis untuk menyampaikan rasa empati terhadap perubahan falsafah hidup di Radakng yang meliputi kehidupan sosial masyarakat terhadap adat, budaya, dan alam sekitarnya. Metode dan tahap penciptaan yang digunakan meliputi observasi, eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan, dan evaluasi. Karya ini bercermin dari budaya lokal yang mengandung unsur spiritual yang disajikan dalam musik teatrikal. Penyajian ini mengandung unsur yang komprehensif sehingga karya musik ini tidak hanya didengar, tetapi juga menjadi sebuah tontonan yang menarik. Selain itu, karya ini memadukan instrumen yang beragam dan unik, antara lain instrumen tradisional Dayak, instrumen Barat (strings quartet), dan instrumen non-konvensional. Karya ini tidak hanya sebatas karya untuk hiburan, tetapi ada inovasi dalam pengembangan seni musik daerah dan mengandung aspek edukasi serta pesan moral yang ditawarkan. Maka, karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan kreativitas musik di Kalimantan Barat dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pelajaran Seni Budaya kelas VII SMP.     FORMULASI GULA AREN DAN JAHE PADA PERMEN LEATHER MENGKUDU SEBAGAI PANGAN FUNGSIONAL

    Functional food is a nutrient that is needed by the body, besides the basic components contained in food. Supporting local resources such as spices, tuber crops, vegetables, fruit and so on. Noni is one of the potentials of local plants that are classified in functional food. Noni fruit is rarely liked because of the pungent aroma. With a touch of food engineering technology, the noni fruit can be used as a processed product in the form of snacks that contain nutrients for the body. This supports the research in making noni fruit products into leather candy that can be liked by the public. Noni leather candy formulation with the addition of palm sugar and ginger in a sequence of 25%, 35% and 10%, 20%, 35%. Stages of research using organoleptic (hedonic) tests on the taste, color, aroma, and texture of noni leather candy, using the two-way ANOVA Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method and continued with the Duncan's Method Range Test (DMRT). Panelists included 40 semi-trained, 60 nontrained. The resulting average in color is 3.82; taste 4,6; aroma of 3.58; texture 3.82. Based on these results, the dominant formulation preferred by panelists is A2J3 (35% palm sugar; 30% ginger) followed by laboratory testing which includes water content using a gravimetry /oven method, the result is 20.82%, ash content using a gravimetry method /furnace the result 3.99%, protein content using the Kjeldahl method /tool with a yield of 4.54%, fat content using the Soxhlet method with a yield of 0.07%, carbohydrate content using the method /tool by difference with a yield of 70.58%, antioxidant activity using DPPH produces 38.35Meg / 100gr and vitamin C content using the LOD titration method resulted in 225.7%

    Optimalisasi Strategi Pemenuhan Persediaan Stok Barang Menggunakan Algoritma Frequent Pattern Growth

    Pemenuhan kebutuhan stok persediaan barang merupakan salah satu dari pilar utama proses bisnis yang rutin dilakukan pelaku bisnis secara umum. Peluang akan terjadinya kesalahan perhitungan yang dilakukan secara konvensional tanpa adanya sebuah analisis mendalam yang menyebabkan tidak akuratnya penentuan jumlah persediaan yang harus dipenuhi. Hasil penelitian menyajikan sebuah solusi dengan pendekatan Data Mining menggunakan teknik aturan asosiasi (association rule). Pendekatan data mining dibangun dengan menggunakan sebuah kerangka kerja pupuler data mining CRoss Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) yang dikerjakan dalam 6 tahapan yaitu Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, dan Deployment. Sampel UMKM kota samarinda menjadi objek pada penelitian dengan menggunakan 1000 data dari riwayat transaksi penjualan dalam kurun waktu tertentu yang diidentifikasi dengan menjalankan algoritma Frequent Pattern Growth (FP-Growth) untuk memaksimalkan kinerja komputasi dalam proses ekstraksi pola item barang. Ekstraksi pola aturan dari dataset transaksi penjualan dilakukan dengan 9 kali percobaan dengan melakukan perubahan nilai support (S) dan confidence (C) dengan hasil percobaan trbaik menghasilkan 9 best rule dengan rentang nilai S sebesar 9% - 14% dan C sebesar 60% - 75% yang mencakup aturan 2-itemset dan 3-itemset. Masing-masing rule diterapkan uji lift yang menghasilkan rentang nilai 2.790 – 3.698 dengan rata-rata nilai lift sebesar 3.26, dimana setiap aturan memenuhi nilai minimum (lift > 1.00) yang menunjukkan setiap kombinasi aturan memiliki peluang cross-selling yang bai
