Validity ty of spectral analysis of evoked potentials in brain research

The averaged electronencephologram (EEG) response of the brain to an external stimulus (evoked potential, EP) is usually subjected to spectral analysis using the fast Fourier transform (FFT), especially to discover the relation of cognitive ability to so-called brain dynamics. There is indeed a discrepancy between these two systems, because the brain is a highly complex nonlinear system, analyzed by a linear system (FFT). We present in this work some inaccuracies that occurred when EPs are subjected to spectral analysis, using a model signal. First of all, the EP power spectra depended upon the number of samples used for averaging; the input EP (model signal) and the output EP (from the system) seemed to be similar in forms, but they exhibited completely different spectral power curves. It was concluded that the spectral analysis of evoked responses by using FFT (linear system analysis) in relation to brain (highly complex nonlinear system) may mislead neuroscientists

URBAN PLANNING PERSPECTIVES OF THE POTENTIAL OF RESORT DEVELOPMENT IN THE SERGEEVKA SETTLEMENT WITH TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT

The Sergeevka resort is the largest climatic-balneal-mud resort in the south of Odessa region. This article presents an overview of the current state of the resort and an analysis of its transport-planning scheme. In addition, suggestions on the resort’s availability and improvement of its functioning are provided through reconstruction of the resort’s external (in particular with Odessa) and internal transport links. Based on the city-planning analysis of the existing access roads to the resort and within its territory, the study presents a concept of the organization of the transport scheme. Its basic arrangements will provide the opportunity for the development of the resort by contributing to the influx of vacationers and investments and creation of new workplaces

House commune as a socio-architectural phenomenon

This paper discusses the importance of studying and rethinking our understanding of the constructivist architecture development history in the 1920s and 1930s; in particular, house communes. A house commune is a residential building, or often a complex of buildings that unites a residential with common areas, such as households, leisure, sports facilities, and workshops. Typically, each house commune project is individually designed, based on the needs of future residents. As a result, many innovative solutions were made in their architectural organisation, such as double-height rooms and ramps instead of stairs. In this study, the architectural and planning solutions of house communes have been investigated while considering the chronology of their development. In addition, the experience of renovation (conservation) of house communes as a method for modern urban-space enrichment is considered. Розглянуто можливість запровадження відповідної методології розрахунку на певному інтервалі часу показника запасу стійкості бюджетної системи, який повинен враховувати показники питомої ваги дебіторської та кредиторської заборгованості зведеного, державного та місцевих бюджетів до загальної суми видаткової частини відповідного бюджету, аналогічний показник заборгованості за соціальними виплатами, податкове навантаження на економіку, рівень виконання дохідної та видаткової частин бюджету, рівень фінансування дефіциту бюджету. Mathematical education at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University: history, achievements, and future prospects

The study focuses on the advancement of mathematical education at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (KSPU). The research's goals and objectives include distinguishing and characterizing basic stages of formation and development of KSPU's mathematical education, informing about the current state of teaching, methodological, scientific, and research activity, and defining future prospects for developing the Department of Mathematics and Methods of its Teaching. The authors define stages of growing mathematical education at KSPU as eras of its 90-year development that are notable for distinct organizational and training techniques for Mathematics teachers. Teaching, research, and a life committed to people are factors that serve as the foundation for identifying basic stages in the growth of the Department of Mathematics. After analyzing information from the University archive, museum, and accessible personal data of Mathematics teachers - University teachers, graduates, and researchers - a special edition "Mathematical Education in Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University: Personality Dimension" was issued to commemorate the Department of Mathematics' 90th anniversary. The information also includes their publications in the ORCID and Google Scholar databases, as well as the University repository.
